Great food quality at this typically Mediterranean restaurant. I tried the crunchy chicken strips for a starter and the grilled chicken skewers as the main delicious and perfectly cooked.

Stopped by on our last night on the Costa Del Sol, and very happy for it! Waiters were friendly and accommodating, the food was fantastic - sea bass in salt was cooked to perfection, and the grilled swordfish was fresh and delicious. Dessert (sorbet with cava) and wine was really good too, and very reasonable pricewise. Strongly recommended, will definitely stop here next time I'm in town!

We'd intended going for a meal at Da'Vincis next-door, but they were closed as I guess its out of season for them. DaVincis loss was Meson's gain as we turned our attention to them instead - and had a fabulous meal to boot. To be fair its not our first time eating here and as others have said the staff are verry friendly and can't do enough for you. Obviously its the food that really matters and once again we were more than satisfied in that respect. My wife having had the lamb and I had the pork fillet.

Tried seabrass for the main course - wow how fresh was the fish! All courses were presented with a nice touch. Was lucky to listen to their suggestions and take a dessert - which was chef's home-made nougat ice cream. The whole experience from food and service was amazing. Thank you so much!

First visit to Meson Dona Lola and very impressed. Delicious food, HUGE portions and fantastic service. A bit in the shadow of Da Vinci's but well worth a visit. They couldn't have been more accommodating, even switching our beef tagliatelle to chicken. Amazing.

Four of us dined here last night, overall excellent . Steaks were super, cooked to perfection, service was really good, friendly, attentive without being overly so. All in all top noch.

We dined at Mesón Doña Lola on 8th September and had a wonderful meal. We started by sharing the Gambas Pil-Pil and some crusty bread to dip which was lovely and for the entree Jen ordered the fillet steak and I ordered the sirloin steak. Both were cooked perfectly and washed down with a bottle of the house red which was significantly better than one might expect for a house wine. All in all a lovely meal and great service. Only negative issue was we seemed to be the only people in the restaurant here’s hoping these local restaurants are able to survive through the the whole covid-19 issue.

This place!! What can I say - it was fantastic!! Huge portions, great waiters, amazing food - I wish we had stopped here on our first night so that we could try everything!! We had the goat cheese salad (large enough for 2-3 ppl!), daily grilled fish, a bottle of cava and bottles of sparkling water - all amazing and for 70€. I highly recommend trying this lovely restaurant if you are looking for great food and ambiance. Oh! The waiter filleted our fish for us and that is awesome!!

Such a great restaurant! Food is amazing and the staff super friendly. The place had a very authentic feel, and even though it’s situated away from the beach, along a busy road, the terrace at the back is very nice. Would highly recommend. Good solid place. Large portions so go hungry. Only problem is limited parking on the slip road outside. We went yesterday (Feb 4) at 7pm and there were only 3 spaces left (there are at least 4 restaurants served by this slip road). No chance of parking outside in high season. Better to park nearby and walk.

1- Contexto da visita Visitamos o lugar dentro de umas férias familiares durante uma semana. 2- Primeira impressão O restaurante tem um aspeto pequeno mas entrando dentro, vê se que tem bastantes lugares, a piscina a contornar o local e a praia como fundo fazem ter uma vista espetacular ótima para as fotos das férias. 3- Atendimento/serviço No geral foi bastante bom, tivemos a sorte de sermos servidos por um senhor em especifico que é bastante simpático e profissional, mas nem todos tiveram o mesmo método de trabalhar e apanhamos outro atendente menos comunicador. 4- Qualidade Tanto a comida como as bebidas estavam espetaculares. 5- Preços/valores Em termos de comida os valores estão bastante justos, os pratos rondam os 10 a 20 euros, mas as bebidas acho um pouco puxado tento bebidas que só um copo ronda os 10 a 15 euros. 6- Pontos positivos Vista, qualidade da comida. 7- Aspetos a melhorar Limpeza das casas de banho. 8- Recomendação Recomendo 100%, voltaria se tiver oportunidade. Recomendo especialmente o prato de carne entrecotê

The pasta here is absolutely outstanding, easily the best I have had in Riviera del Sol. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the service did not match the food. Our waiter was quite rude, which took away from what could have been an exceptional dining experience. I would still recommend the food, but I hope the service improves.

A reasonable restaurant with available and smiling waiting staff. Ambiance is a bit touched by the fact that it faces the road, rather than the sea, somehow basic amidst other tables. As for the food - pretty satisfactory without certain shine. Desserts were certainly good - nugat with balkan fruits and Cheesecake. Main dishes were good, twisted, some of them strange as the Beef Stroganoff, which was rather as Hunter's way kebab. Fried Provalone, sort of Kashkaval pane. The squids were classically Mediterranean. Generally a good place with very touchy service.

Ich kam hier her zum Essen aufgrund der guten Bewertungen und kann das leider so nicht bestätigen. Ich habe sehr lange auf den Service gewartet - sowohl um eine Bestellung aufzugeben als auch bis das Essen kam (Insgesamt 1 1/2 Stunden!). Bei der Wartezeit wurde dann erklärt, das liege am grillen auf Holzkohle ... naja. Ich hatte das Entrecote mit Beilagen. Das Steak war gut gegrillt und die Fleischqualität war ebenfalls gut. Ob das Steak jedoch die in der Karte angegebenen 300gr. hat wage ich doch zu bezweifeln (grille selber zu Hause auf Gas und mit Kohle gerne). Die dazu gereichten Beilagen waren sehr übersichtlich um nicht zu sagen wenig! Da die Auswahl an guten Restaurants in der Nähe groß ist werde ich hier wohl nicht wieder hingehen.

Had the fillet steak which was superb. However they are a bit tight with the vegetables and side orders. I would expect more than one piece of broccoli and 4 tiny pieces of carrot. Bit disappointing. Apart from that it was very good. Staff took a while to warm up but they were pleasant. The waiting staff didn’t know anything about gluten free food. Which is a bit concerning. Perhaps more training is required. He did check but it left me feeling a bit unsure. Would I go back….? Probably not.

Expensive tourist's trap. Cannot recommend the duck salad, it was over fried. Steaks looked good though. We were waiting for quite long for everything - order, food and paying.

The place is rather small and crowded, the tables are pretty close. We ordered a meat mix, but the meat was badly burned. They served appetizers, bread and butter, but imagine my surprise when I found them added to the check! Won't go there very soon
