Very good food and a very kind waiter! If you need traditional gluten-free bread, made only with teff, I recommend calling a few days in advance. Highly recommended.
I've been coming here for years and it's always a pleasure. The staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming. The dishes are fabulous, with spicy, mild, and vegetarian options. A favorite I always love to return to!
The food was very good, both the beef dish and the one the waiter had prepared for me, letting me choose what to serve because I didn't feel like eating meat. The appetizers we ordered were also very delicate, spicy, and delicious. The fried food was very light. The Abyssinian lager was excellent. The typical dessert was also delicate and delicious. The service was very fast, and the waiter was friendly and helpful, explaining the dishes and offering suggestions. We really enjoyed our stay in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Sometimes the multi-ethnic cuisine can be a bit heavy, but we weren't thirsty that night. When we went, there was no one there, probably because it was just after the Christmas holidays. We spent €35 for two. Excellent value.
A small East African restaurant in the Porta Vittoria area. Delicious traditional dishes, quick and friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Great prices. Highly recommended for a unique dinner experience.
As usual, Ethiopian food impresses us every time.
Fantastic place, we went for a graduation dinner and everything was perfect. The place is quite minimalist but at the same time welcoming, thanks in large part to the impeccable service. The explanations of the dishes were much appreciated, especially for those new to Ethiopian cuisine. All the dishes were delicious; I can assure you that among the African restaurants in Milan, this is absolutely one of the best. Rarely have I felt so immediately at home in a restaurant like this; we will definitely be back.
perfect place to eat
Authentic and flavorful cuisine that reflects cultural heritage
The host was super friendly from the moment we step in the restaurant. Since we wanted to sit outside he provided us with mosquito repellent. We ordered 2 vegetarian dishes, and the taste of each side dish was amazing! Each side dish on the main bread had different elements which complemented each other. We even asked for more bread and we were not charged the absurd 'Coperto' that many restaurants do for no explanation. Definitely come here if you are looking for a rich Ethiopian experience.
Good and delicious food. Try to eat with hand :)
I had a dinner there, and both the samosas and the main dishes tasted really good. The owners are friendly too. I recommend!
Delicious food, nice atmosphere, very recomended. The waiter was very gentle and gave us good advice about the food taste.
Excellent service
Went to this place a little while back for a nice dinner! Quiet atmosphere, good service, delicious food and well-priced. Would recommend this hidden gem to anyone. Book with the fork for a discount!
Eating here is like a travel to Eritrea and Ethiopia. The place was relaxed and well decorated with many African art. People are so nice and helpful. And the most important : I enjoyed food so much. It’s tasty !! And all this for a good price. So cool !
Ethiopian cuisine, discovered with TheFork Impeccable service, they explained the dishes to us and even let us try the categna (a traditional appetizer). We really enjoyed the zighini, a meat stew served on their signature bread. I recommend the beef one; the chicken one, however, was so spicy we couldn't finish it; the portions are very generous. The zilzil, a typical grilled beef dish, was a little too dry for our taste. The atmosphere is a bit chilly, perhaps because we were the only ones there that evening.
Really good food, homey and friendly feel. Loved it.
