My first time in Italy and had a delightful dining experience at this cozy Italian gem! We ordered the spaghetti seafood and the seasonal risotto with truffles, both were absolute standouts and delicious. The seafood spaghetti was rich in sea flavour, with perfectly cooked pasta and an incredibly fresh mix of seafood (mussels, prawns, squid). Every bite was a reminder of why simple, quality ingredients make all the difference. And the seasonal risotto with truffles. The chef personally came to our table and sliced the fresh truffles right in front of us, adding an aromatic, earthy finish to the creamy risotto. These truffles I believed sourced only from Italy and France that have brought a luxurious touch that elevated the dish to another level. Truly exquisite! Complimenti allo chef. The staff also very friendly and helpful. If you're a fan of authentic Italian cuisine and seasonal specialties, this spot is a must visit. I truly highly recommend and I will come back.
I've dined here twice with my family and we had a truly wonderful evening once again. The food is fresh and excellent, from appetizers to main courses. The elegant and relaxed atmosphere is complemented by attentive and welcoming staff. Nothing but positives. See you next time!

One of the best restaurant in Milano
I loved the food here. I especially appreciated that they used fish gelatin, in their pannacatto, which made it halal. I loved the pasta, coved Aldente perfectly. The flavors were balanced and the staff was pleasant. I would come back in a heartbeat.
The owner was very friendly and came to make conversation with us. He would come by and check if we liked the food. The servings were very generous. We had appetiser,seafood pasta and dessert. The pasta was fresh made,cooked with generous amount of very fresh seafood. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and will come back, for food, ambience and the beautiful decor of the restaurant. Super highly recommended.

Fabulous meal... Our host picked a selection of starters followed by risotto/pasta dishes then sea bream cooked in salt. Wouldn't have known to pick this from menu. Truly delightful evening!

Customized dishes were served for a solo visitor. I enjoyed special menu recommended by the master. All dishes were excellent. Mixture of seafood and pasta brings ocean flavor to your table.

My wife and I just ate at Raffaele's Al Sorriso, and we thought it was incredible. The food tasted great, but what really made this place special was the love that Raffaele had for his art of making the food. He served tables himself as I assume he has for the last 27 years he's owned the place. Tonight wasn't anything special as it was just a Wednesday evening in June, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the people who were enjoying the food and atmosphere at Al Sorriso. I wish we were staying in Milan longer so I could try more or Raffaele's menu. This man is an artist, and it was an awesome experience to watch and taste his (and his chef's) work tonight.

Great food coupled with great value
The food was bland, the fish were frozen and the portions less than generous. There are no vegetarian dishes. The proprietor was pushy, trying to get us to order undefined 'specials' not on the menu and the 'house wine' which turned out to be a supermarket special. The interior was hot and stuffy and they claimed to have no a/c.
As soon as we arrived I understood it had been a bad idea to go there, the place was smelling like fish (not a good sign). Food was below average and not fresh. Two stars for the effort
