Esperienza semplicemente meravigliosa. Location splendida, nel pieno centro di Milano. All’accoglienza sono stato ricevuto da una ragazza estremamente gentile e sempre sorridente che mi ha fatto sentire subito a mio agio fin dal primo momento. Carne argentina di eccellente qualità, preceduta da un mets de bienvenue davvero originale e curato. La carne è accompagnata da cinque contorni che, già di per sé, contribuiscono a rendere l’esperienza gastronomica completa e appagante. Una menzione speciale a Carlo (Carlitos), che con professionalità, simpatia e piacevoli chiacchiere mi ha accompagnato per tutta la serata, garantendo un servizio impeccabile e un’atmosfera davvero piacevole. È raro trovare un mix così armonioso di qualità, competenza e sincera attenzione verso l’ospite.

sono stato in questo locale per san valentino, bella l'atmosfera, ottimo il cibo e personale molto gentile e preparato! Se devo trovare la pecca forse è solo lo spazio tra i tavoli, molto ristretto e con poca privacy. Nonostante questo appunto mi sento di consigliarlo e ci ritornerei volentieri in futuro.

Dopo aver cenato più volte nei ristoranti Porteño, ho provato per la prima volta il business lunch e ne sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita. È stata la conferma che Porteño non è solo sinonimo di eccellente carne alla griglia, ma di una cucina curata e di qualità a tutto tondo. I piatti sono ottimi, ben eseguiti e bilanciati, e il servizio è attento, rapido e perfettamente organizzato per rispettare i tempi della pausa pranzo senza rinunciare al piacere dell’esperienza. Un sincero complimento a Gerardo e a tutto il suo staff!

Ci andiamo una volta ogni 2 mesi per noi il migliore dei vari PORTEÑO Forse più piccolino ed elegante poi a due passi dal duomo che la sera senza tanta gente è ancora più bello. Servizio eccellente ogni volta peccato che negli anni hanno cambiato diversi responsabili… ma ci sta il turnover è molto alto nella ristorazione poi a Milano! The quality of the meat was on a completely different level from anything I’ve tried before. Gerardo, our waiter, welcomed us warmly, took our orders, gave us great suggestions, and brought out our food. To be honest, this guy — who turned out to be the manager — took our experience to an entirely different level. I’ve never seen anyone so passionate about their job. He was incredibly kind, genuinely helpful, and without him, the experience wouldn’t have been nearly as enjoyable.

We had an amazing lunch at El Porteño! The location has old money vibes, and the attention to details is noticeable since the first moment you step into the restaurant. Highlights of the dinner were the fillets: both the sashimi version and the Lomo Buenos Aires were tasty, well seasoned and served with some really good sauces. They also bring really good sides with the meat. We enjoyed Malbec with it, and ended the lunch with the pancakes with dulce di leche (yummy!). Will for sure try the menus from the other locations. Service is overall nice, male staff is quite invasive.

We ate here on our last night in Milan. I can confidently say this was one of the best meals I have ever had. I started with the Cecita Salad. The most unique but inspiring salad I've ever had and I'm picky. It was exceptional. I'd get it again! I had the Beef Cheek embedded in Mashed Potatoes. The meat was as tender as it could be. The combination of the salad and the main course was definitely one of the best meals I've ever had. Next time in Milan, I'll be making a point to return here. We came to this restaurant after a long search for a good steakhouse, and it was absolutely worth it. The restaurant is of a very high standard,the prices are on the expensive side, but worth every penny. The meat was exceptional, and so was the service. I especially want to commend Gerardo, who was incredibly welcoming, gave detailed explanations about the different cuts of meat throughout the meal, and handled a small issue with the bill immediately and professionally.

Stayed at the hotel and booked in the restaurant for food . Service was top quality without suffocating the diner. The food was exceptional, steak cooked to perfection, the accompaniment's was fantastic . The speed of service was really impressive considering I was rushed for time . We just happened to walk into this place while looking for somewhere to eat, and it turned out to be such a pleasant experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff gave us a genuinely friendly and helpful welcome. For starter, we tried the Mosaic Guac.. it had a nice zesty flavor with just the right kick of heat, perfectly balanced by the freshness of cucumber. For the mains, we went with the sirloin and the tenderloin. Both were cooked to perfection, and easily some of the best cuts of meat we’ve had in a long time. The sides served with the steaks were also good.

We had the Black Angus ribs and pork ribs (not in the pic) – both insanely good. The Angus came with all the sides on the menu, like fries, salad and mashed potatoes, and everything was spot on. But the real highlight? The staff. Just absolutely insane – so perfect, friendly, and on point. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had!

After indulging in plenty of risotto, pasta, and pizza, we were craving something different—and this place delivered beyond expectations. Everything about El Porteño was outstanding: the atmosphere, the food, the service, and the overall ambiance. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and knew we were in for a special evening. It’s honestly surprising that this gem isn’t at the top of every list of restaurants in Milan. The attention to detail in every aspect made it a memorable experience. I’m so glad we chose El Porteño for our final dinner in Milan before heading to Florence—it was the perfect way to end our time in the city. Il ristorante in Sempione è uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto a Milano, ma non so come mai non ho mai pensato di provare questo. Ho confrontato i menu, e sono praticamente identici, inclusi i prezzi. Quindi vista la vicinanza a casa ho voluto provare. Il locale è più piccolo e la clientela è anche diversa. Evito di esprimermi su arena (tipo Just Cavalli, e chi vuole intendere…), qui invece più adulti e famiglie. Un punto in più. Per quanto riguarda il servizio, il nostro cameriere è stato scontroso e di fretta tutta la sera. Non si capisce dove dovesse andare. E Si è comportato allo stesso modo con i vicini. Mentre la carne era un po’ troppo cotta, ma la qualità buona. Tutto sommato rimane uno dei migliori ristoranti di Milano per qualità e prezzo

Mi è piaciuto l'ambiente e il servizio attento, ti seguono molto. La carne è buona e anche se non si direbbe esci veramente sazio perché i contorni sono abbondanti, c'è il pane e ci sono i vasetti con pomodoro/olii aromatizzati. Dolce sottotono. Conto ok.

Di Gourmet c'e' solo il cibo, e non e' poco, ma dovendo essere la versione "prime" della catena "El Porteno" le aspettative erano molto piu' alte. Location centralissima ma un po' sacrificata, piccola, pochi tavoli e un po' sacrificati. Servizio molto approssimativo, con dimenticanze inaccetabili. Carne buonissima e ben cotta, peccato per tutto il resto.....

For a steakhouse, the way the chef prepares the steaks is not up to par. The three-way fillet that we had was cooked to the right doneness, but there’re a lot of tendons in the meat, leading to a substantial portion of the steak being un-chewable. As for the ribeye roll, we requested it to be medium rare, but when the steak arrived at our table, it looked like it’s almost well done. The waiter also had difficulty cutting it for us, but we still each tried a piece regardless, thinking it might be the Milanese interpretation of the dish. However, to our disappointment, the steak was actually way too overcooked, and was impossible to chew. We asked the waitress who placed our order if we had correctly made a request for medium rare, and she confirmed it and also agreed that the steak was not of the doneness that we ordered. She took action swiftly and asked the chef to prepare a new dish for us. The second time the ribeye roll was served, it was only cooked to rare but we didn’t really mind it. However, this time the steak had even more tendons than the fillet, which made it super difficult to cut, let alone chew. That being sad, the steak sashimi with foie gras was perfect, and we could taste the freshness of the beef, with the foie gras and dressing taking the dish to a whole different level. Apparently, the chef needs to practice precision cooking, but his ability to season the ingredients should be commended.

Sono cliente del porteno gourmet ormai da anni sia a Roma che a Milano ma la mia esperienza la scorsa settimana nel locale vicino al duomo è stata pessima. Avevamo prenotato un tavolo alle 21.30 e ci hanno fatto sedere al tavolo alle 22.20. Capisco la fashion week e l’affluenza ma se uno prenota con tempo dovrebbe avere il tavolo riservato. Cibo ottimo come sempre ma la vera delusione della serata è stata quando il barman ha voluto improvvisarsi cameriere. Sarà stata la fretta di chiudere mi ha servito mezzo pollo (che dovevo dividere con un altra persona) nel piatto sporco di carne dicendo che lui e non lo poteva dividere e quindi dovevo farlo io nel mio piatto. Come è possibile che in un ristorante di questo livello e costo devo dividere un pollo con un altra persona nel mio piatto sporco? Peccato per l’esperienza ma sicuramente non tornerò più in questa sede. Delusione totale e poca professionalità dall’inizio alla fine. Per non parlare della cassiera che insieme al presunto barmar sparlava di tutti i clienti

Esperienza MOLTO deludente. Siamo clienti abituali di Roma e siamo rimasti veramente delusi dalla serata/cena. Siamo stati accolti da un cameriere assolutamente incompetente. Abbiamo chiesto di iniziare con una bollicina, Ca Del Bosco dosaggio zero per l’esattezza, quest’ultimo arriva, toglia la gabbietta del Franciacorta e lascia la bottiglia così, incustodita, con il tappo di sughero che poteva saltare da un momento all’altro. Quindi abbiamo provveduto noi autonomamente nel servizio del vino. La carne, sicuramente di ottima qualità, era stata chiesta al sangue, ma purtroppo ci è stata servita ben cotta, quasi dura. Inoltre eravamo in 5 e ci hanno portato gli stessi contorni che solitamente vengono serviti ai tavoli da 2 persone…. Al di là di ciò servizio assente, distratto, non curato, intollerabile visto il prezzo… nonché tempi di attesa eterni! Abbiamo riferito il tutto alla ragazza bionda che ha preso il pagamento e non si è curata minimamente di questa situazione. Peccato, dato che il ristorante ha la dicitura “gourmet”, Mi dispiace dire che la ristorazione milanese peggiora giorno dopo giorno

Wow. Pretty surprised this has such good ratings unless proprietor has a lot of family…. Food was fine (nothing special but not bad). But we had a large party and it took over three hours for dinner (8-11pm+). Service was a joke. Consistently got entrees incorrect and made group wait two hours for first course?? Pretty miserable experience. Rarely provide this kind of feedback but thought I’d provide an alternative view for others to make their own decisions
