Terrific ragù pastas, and the grigliata fortunata was delicious: four kinds of meat on a platter. Pesca ubriaca was worth trying, but the limonamisù took the cake. One of the best desserts I've ever had.
We were given a Recommendation to visit this restaurant for good Italian food and we were not disappointed. The service and the atmosphere were amazing and the food was very delicious. Would definitely recommend!
The other reviews lived up the the hype; great food, good service, nice atmosphere. Tagliatelle and Pappardelle were both very good. Spinach Ravioli needed more salt but had good presentation. The mascarpone cream dessert was also excellent.
All the dishes were phenomenal. The flavors are refined down to the smallest detail. Each dish contains an ingredient that elevates it— an exceptional component that makes the taste truly unique. On top of that, I must highlight the professional staff, who are also incredibly friendly and helpful. Grazie mille, ragazzi!
Easy 5 stars. The food was amazing, the waiters friendly and funny. It’s a beautiful restaurant inside and outside and located in a cute street next to the busy and buzzing main area.

This restaurant is so beautiful- inside, outside, even the bathroom! The food is lovely and fresh with some unique flavors! Good service and lovely part of the old city to explore. We had the zucchini blossoms, the ragu with wild boar and the gnocchi! They were all so unique and definitely recommend! We also ordered wine and beer so it was very well priced for the quality.

A solid 5-star rating from the very beginning of our experience. WARNING! Large portions. I didn’t follow the waiter's instructions and ordered two dishes that he said might be too much for 2 of us and he was right, we almost didn’t finish them :) Ended up too full for a dessert or anything else but satisfied. If you're looking to try regional cuisine and dishes completely different from those served closer to the sea, I highly recommend this place. Even though we arrived quite late and the restaurant was almost full, after a few minutes, the waiter found us a table. And another big thank you to the staff for their patience for us as it took us ages to decide what we actually want for our main courses. For an appetiser, we ordered the roast beef cotto a bassa temperatura. WOW!!! It was heavenly good! The meat was tender and the sauce delicious. A true harmony of flavours. For the main course, my girlfriend ordered the Tris di umidi – a set of three dishes baked in a casserole (grandmother's meatballs, beans with pork rind, and braised wild boar – check the menu for a photo). It really was like home made food from grandma, not from a restaurant. So if you like that kind of vibe, go for it and you won’t be disappointed. I ordered a very local dish – Il Signor Bollito, a set, or rather a tray, of cooked meat, mashed potatoes, and homemade sauces. I think it tastes very familiar to many Poles, if you've ever eaten old-fashioned Polish broth made with various meats, such as beef, pork, and poultry, at your grandmother's. I enjoyed it, but I don't think it's for everyone. The meats weren't overcooked, but at the same time, they fell apart. Despite being cooked together (or so I think), each type of meat retained its unique flavour. We also ordered a bottle of Sangiovese for 17 euros. We left, or rather rolled out, very happy. I recommend it again especially if you're looking for something other than coastal cuisine.
The staff was amazing, and the food was delicious, we came back a second time, because we had so much fun. I really recommend this place.
Food was amazing. Especially starters with local products, cheeses and meats. Portions worth the prices. Steaks were excellent quality, cooked in the perfect way. Boar ragu was extremely oversalted and waiter forgot about tartare but nothing serious. Maybe that's good idea to use paper or mobile POS. at the end I can recommend that place
The food here is absolutely amazing! Such an interesting meals and variety of tastes. Despite the prices everything is worth all the way! Local looks stunning and you can have a good time here. Staff is average let’s say, but i think it’s just the rude-attitude of some italian people. No matter what, you must visit this restaurant!

My wife and I usually don’t repeat restaurants often. But we couldn’t help but go to La Esse three nights in a row. Excellent food, great ambiance and very joyful and friendly staff overall. Not to be missed when in Rimini
Food, service impeccable. First the food was amazing, everything we had absolutely delicious. The service was also great, specially in the early evening between 7-8:30 pm before the restaurant gets quite crowded. Highly recommend the dishes we ordered and would happily come back if I am in the area again. PS, don’t be fooled by the 3 meats dishes. It’s a lot of food
La Esse Romagnola is a cozy and popular restaurant located in a nice area. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. The high quality fresh pasta and amazing dishes truly impressed me. The Cassoncini with three different variations (oven, dry pan, fried) served as a delightful appetizer. The Gnoccatello and rough fresh homemade Pappardelle with boar ragu were both outstanding dishes. I couldn't resist trying their desserts, which turned out to be delicious as well. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at La Esse Romagnola. Highly recommended!
Absolutely BEST PLACE to dine out in Rimini. Period!!! After nice walk across the Ponte di Tiberio you turn right and find this great restaurant. We were lucky to get a table ( around 19:30) as soon after the place started to be busy. Staff was very experienced, friendly, super fast and effective. We went with full bottle of Lambrusco which we fully recommend and got pasta and desserts marked with "S" which is the specialty of the restaurant - perfect harmony of taste and size - we absolutelly enjoyed it and already looking forward to pay a visit again.
Come here and don’t go to Rimini Beach. Ever visiting Rimini trust me and don’t go to the beach restaurants where you only get typical tourist stuff. San Guliano is a very unique area of old town rimini that offers so many great restaurants such as La Esse Romagnola. Here you can enjoy tasty and original meals on the terrace during a beautiful summer night. We had mixed antipasti a la romagnola, truffle pasta and a shared dessert. Service is super friendly and always assisting when you have questions. Also super cool - they had no problems speaking English 🇬🇧!

The restaurant is really nice situated within characteristic streets and the restaurant has the same feeling. The staff is friendly and helpful. All the food we ordered was good but the changes made on traditional romagnolo food, although they sound good, were not as high level and with exceptional taste as expected after reading the menu.
Do not go there. The owner is racist. We were not allowed to go in. Specialy Black people do not go there. It was very sad to have such an experience.
Very rude waiter on the second floor. From the beginning she was always talking and acting badly. Blue/purple hair woman around 35yo. We were here 27december 2025 around 2pm. Food was very good but her behaviour was bad
