We arrived 30 minutes before closing, with a reservation. We were told that they would be closing soon so we had to be fast. We ordered fast, and got the food fast. The food was very good, and the staff were very friendly. We got a discount because we only got to sit there for 30 minutes, and the owner didn't even mention the discount. We only saw it after we paid. Even before the discount it was very affordable.

My wife and I stopped here near where we were staying in desperate need of food and a place to sit. Upon entering the young woman asked if we had a reservation (we did not) she frowned and said I can offer you “this” table. I am unsure of her hesitation about the table because it was absolutely delightful. The service was both friendly and professional, the ambiance is what we would expect from any nice restaurant this size off a busy street in a large city. The house Syrah swung way above its price point and the food was delicious. We both had simple beef and potato dishes and they were exactly what we wanted and needed. We would absolutely return and cannot say enough good things.

I have been to this restaurant 4-5 times, it is so good! The waitresses are extremely kind and thoughtful and the food is amazing. You can really taste the local ingredients. Portion sizes are quite big and overall probably one of my favorite restaurants in Milano.

Sicilian cusine avaliable right here! Love that they have a rustique vibe, where you can see various cuts right at the counter like it's a part of the furniture lol Main: Carbonara alla Siciliana and Involtini crema di formaggio e pistachio. Dessert: Cannollo Each dish has a unique rich flavor and each ingredient compliments each other. Highly recommended this place, but does get quite packed and loud due to the crowd. There are no menus, you must scan the qr-code to look at it. Overall loved it and thank you for the great service!

Our favourite restaurant over a long weekend in Milan. Located in a lively neighbourhood, the place is small so you will likely need booking. The waitress had a very good english and was super friendly. There's cheese in pretty much all their dishes and whatever we ordered was delicious. I had tried the "meatballs" with cheese and pistachio; it didn't look like meatballs but very tasty. A friend had ordered something similar but it came in smaller bites and was crunchier, it was even better. We also had pasta with tomato and mozzarella, the pistachio "ice cream" (can't remember the real name), and the cannoli were all excellent. We were recommended to try the sausages with fennel, that's fine be for the next time.

This restaurant is one of the most lovely places in Milan. The cook Antonio is very creative: thanks to him, we always taste a lot of different meat and tipical sicilian food from Capizzi. You should eat arancini and panino "Oro Verde" ( bread, meat, pistache, Bologna). Don't forget to eat a cannolo as a dessert. Il luogo è piccolo ma accogliente. I tavoli sono un po' appiccicati uno all'altro ma essersi il locale di moderate dimensioni, si fa di necessità virtù Carne di buona qualità, non eccelsa, ma buona! Considerando che il menù è abbastanza limitato, si potrebbe lasciare di più sulla preparazione ed impiattamento. L'organizzazione di sala lascia un po' a desiderare ed in più devo dire che il "calore meridionale" non si manifesta proprio. Detto questo, sicuramente consiglio di provarlo almeno una volta perché comunque merita... Poi sarete voi a decidere se tornare o meno!

Location tranquilla e caratteristica, una piacevole cena. Piatti di carne gustosi e preparati alla perfezione.. peccato solo per le quantità appena sufficienti e non presentate molto bene. Detto questo comunque il servizio molto buono, vino tipico e piacevole musica italiana in sottofondo!!! Consigliato per provare del cibo diverso

03.25 Ritornato nuovamente in questo ristorante. Tartare eccezionale e carne molto buona. Ottimi anche gli arancini mentre bocciate le patate al forno con caciocavallo (bruciacchiate e ripassate). Servizio veloce e personale gentile. Nota dolente la cappa di fumo presente nel locale (non funziona la Cappa?). 06 24 Buonissima la salsiccia cunzata, le polpette e le braciole messinesi. Delusione invece il panino oro verde. Abbondante ma carne hamburger troppo cotta e mortadella non di ottima qualità. Personale super gentile e accogliente. Locale molto carino.

Qualità eccellente. Caponata come in Sicilia. Arancine spettacolari, involtini messinesi leggeri e saporiti. Servizio lento (30' per antipasto con 2 tavoli in tutto il locale) inoltre per due volte ho dovuto chiedere le posate, sia per antipasto che per il secondo. Portare al tavolo un piatto senza sincerarsi della presenza delle posate due volte di seguito non è ammissibile ed è indice di una mancanza di esperienza e di professionalità.

La location è carina e intima. Il menù propone pochi primi, ma si rifà sul resto. I piatti che abbiamo ordinato (di cui allego le foto) erano abbastanza buoni, in particolare i secondi. Bocciata, invece, per il nostro gusto, la caponata di melanzane. Sono stata molto delusa alla visione del conto. Pur avendo prenotato con uno sconto del 40 percento tramite The Fork, abbiamo comunque speso 65 euro. Un plauso particolare alle tre cameriere che ci hanno servito, davvero deliziose e simpatiche

Tolgo una stella solo per i motivi qui sotto. Per il resto cibo buono e personale gentile. non sempre attento però. Certamente non da parametro 5 stelle. -Aggiornare il menù a Qcode. E poi basta torniamo al menù classico. Sarò vecchio, ma se vuoi fare un locale stile trattoria, mantieni anche la vecchia tradizione. Per lo più poi i menù digitali funzionano sempre al 50% (come mi è successo questa sera). -Altro consiglio, se fate pagare la carne a peso...è buona regola fare vedere il pezzo di carne pesato su un bilancino, non lo si dice a voce. Qualità prezzo, giuste! Da riprovare

Servizio molto impreparato. Cibo di qualità medio-bassa. Unico piatto che consiglio di quello che abbiamo ordinato: gli involtini con pesto di pistacchio. Prezzi comunque troppo alti per quello che abbiamo mangiato.

Senza dubbio il peggior ristorante in cui sia mai stato. Impreparati su tutto: dal servizio alla cucina. Abbiamo atteso 10 min per sederci (con prenotazione e ristorante semivuoto), atteso 20 min per le bevande (!) (pur avendo già finito l’antipasto ed essendoci alzati 2 volte dal tavolo per ricordare che stavamo aspettandole), chiesto pane a parte per l’antipasto dato che una persona era celiaca e ci è arrivato il piatto con pane sopra (l’errore ci sta ma la cosa incredibile è stata la risposta dopo averglielo fatto notare: “sìsì, è senza glutine”), piatti tragici (non so come possano esserci così tante recensioni positive: fa veramente fa rimpiangere il non aver mangiato a casa)… Detto ciò finirei con una nota positiva: non costa molto. Altra cosa simpatica: sul menù e sulle tovagliette c’è scritto che portano i prodotti a km 0, dalla Sicilia a Milano!!

What a miserable experience. After browsing through countless menus, my husband and I decided to spend our anniversary dinner at Montesoprano. Though we had never been there before, the food selection sounded good so we were excited to give it a go. Sadly, the dinner was an absolute let down. Firstly, it was exceptionally difficult to get any attention from any serves, and even when we did, we had to ask for things such as water and ice several times before they were actually brought to us. As an appetizer, we shared the eggplant parmigiana which was nothing to rave about but still the best dish of the night. My husband got what was described as a hamburger as a main and I got two different salads, reitterating that I'd like the dressing to be served separately, so I can decide how much I want to add myself. When the mains arrived, we were in for quite a surprise as my husband did not receive a 'hamburger' but simply a burger a.k.a. just a beed patty with some sad looking leaves as a salad on the side. After talking to the staff for 5+ minutes and explaining that there is no way of knowing from the menu, that their idea of a hamburger is just a patty, they agreed to add two buns and some cheese to the patty to make it an actual hamburger. Both of my salads arrived drowned in oil and dressing, regardless of my simple request. Thay took one of them back and redid it, but I kept the other one. I could've overlooked this, but after I biy in to an actual rock in my salad, I was pretty much done with the food. At that point I was just happy I didn't break a tooth. We showed the staff the rock (photo attached) to which they gave a simple 'sorry' and asked if they could bring us some digestives as an apology. That was a rather sad apology, considering all tables received a digestive after their meal. I refused their 'kind' offer and decided to end the miserable experinece with a glass of wine. I ordered their house white (4€ per glass). Once we received the check however, my glass of wine had magically turned into a 9€ glass. After asking about it, they said that it wasn't the house wine that they brought me although that is what I ordered. After another few minutes of arguing they oh-so-kindly charged us the 4€ for the wine saying they'll take care of the rest. Call me crazy, but since it was their mistake, I would kind of expect that. All in all, the decor of the restaurant was nice but that's pretty much where the positives end. Will not be returing and wouldn't recommend snyone else to either. There are soooo many better restaurants with a much better price point and quality in Milan so just skip this one.

Last dinner in Italy, supposed to be happy but no. The first waitress was kind and patient. Then we ordered 1.2kg fiorentina steak. To be honest the steak is dry and has lots of tendons. We asked the manager to get it recooked, then one part of the steak seemed to be “ok” to eat, however, at least 1/2 of it was still hard to chew, not to mention to swallow it. The manager insisted that the meat was fine and said something about the race and age, but we just had steak in Florence 5 days ago and know how its taste like. We were tiered of arguing with her. So we paid the bill and left. It was the worst meal we had in Italy. And it’s so sad when you get your last meal like that.

The portions were extremely small; even when combining the two meals, we still couldn't create a decent serving for one person. They provided still water in a jar, and it was difficult to determine whether it was tap water. However, when it came time to pay, it became clear just how precious that water was. Lastly they do not have an english menu. If you are planning to visit the place it is better to learn Italian or translation skills on the phone.

We ordered a hamburger. Expecting a proper meal like any hamburgers in any restaurant or Google. Instead, we received just a piece of (cold) meat. For initial price of 10 euros. Disappointed and still hungry. We don’t recommend to (at least) take away.
