What a great restaurant: food, service, atmosphere - we enjoyed it all! We had dinner here twice on our vacation in SML, great choices for everyone and perfect opportunity to try some traditional Ligurian dishes. We received very helpful recommendations from our server Igor who is knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and patient (some of us have a hard time making decisions). The menu of the day is always a great choice, and everything we tried was top notch.

This is one of the best restaurant in the Italy at all every time you come and you can choose different dishes big variety great taste homemade pasta ravioli great service the best the best the best I never went ever to the restaurant six time at least I went two or three, but this is like exception thank you so much to make my vacation and especially to waiters Igor , and Aurora. The Tiramisu cake amazing. I never ate that kind of cake Thank you again. I don’t have words to say how I am pleased to this restaurant the food amazing service ingredients everything like you do it at home.

So happy we found this place in SML. It was one of our favorite meals from the entire trip. The food was incredible and the people could not have been nicer. It was very reasonably priced (10-15 euro pastas), but the food rivaled our fanciest dinners. Everything we got was incredible, but our favorite was the grandmas pesto pasta. The Nutella tiramisu is also a must try.

Husband and wife pastry operation here from the USA. A very authentic and amazing experience. The pesto, lasagna, limoncello, anchovies, were beyond stellar. Highly recommended!! In our opinion, one of the finest in the area. Igor, if he’s there, will take the most amazing care of you.

Thank you for the nice and delicious dinner. Price/Quality ratio is really good here. The food was good and delicious. We have tried the pesto trofie, beef lasagne, stuffed and breaded friend anchovies. Breaded anchovies is not something special but still was nice. Stuffed anchovies was a unique taste for me which was filled with parmesan and pumpkin. At the end we tried tiramisu and apple pie. All was good, If you are in town and looking for a nice meal with reasonable prices. Go for it. Other restaurants in the coast side charges a lot even for a house wine! Thank you igor

We had the local stuffed veal dish as an appetizer for the table and it was delicious. Perfect way to start. Pesto dishes and lasagna were terrific. They had a Penne Frutti de Mare and the seafood was fresh and fantastic. Best Tiramisu we have ever had. Staff was polite and friendly but very busy. Food was served quickly.

We had delicious pesto pasta dishes at this trattoria. Don’t skip the Genovese salad or amaretto chocolate mousse - fantastic! Our tour guide recommended this restaurant as a place his family likes to go. The wait staff did not speak English, but we were able to easily communicate with them. Very happy with our experience here!

Great venue for dinner, just make a booking as they do get very busy. The food is delicious and has great portion sizes. The staff helped us pick some lovely wine that really complemented our food. The staff are fun and very nice, especially on a busy night. The venue is cute and also great for large groups. It's definitely a must visit. The ravioli was amazing!!!

Once we found this restaurant during our vacation in Santa Margherita we kept on coming back for dinner three days in a row. Amazing food, great opportunity to taste Ligurian cousin! Pasta pesto was delicious and another favourite was ravioli with walnut sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant and looking forward to coming back!

Locale che se ci passi magari non lo noti, infatti a noi é stato indicato. All'interno molto carino con personale sempre attento e disponibile. Consigliato da gente del luogo non siamo rimasti delusi. Cucina tradizionale ligure con alici ripiene fritte strepitose, porzioni abbondanti e saporite. Servizio ottimo.ci torneremo. Posto tutta sostanza e poca apparenza!!

Historical location, recently renewed. Pezzi offers a selection of Liguria traditional recipes. Cozy and informal, with home-made style. Locale storico che forse vive più di ricordi che di altro. Trattoria nei vicoli di Santa Margherita che è anche carina a vedersi e turisticamente attira. Purtroppo la magia all'interno un po' svanisce, servizio molto distratto e molto molto lento. Cucina tradizionale che però non eccelle in gusto e che pare avere un po' troppe lacune tra ingredienti e impiattamento. Insomma un locale un po' senza infamia e senza gloria, da 3 su 5 appunto, in cui si mangia discretamente ma una volta usciti pensi che non ci torneresti mai. Potete trovare di meglio. A presto.

Ligure in tutto! Buono il capponmagro e sfizioso il minestrone, diciamo che i piatti sono più da gastronomia che da ristorante. Locale carino, sembra ristrutturato (in parte) da poco, servizio celere (piatti già pronti dall’attigua gastronomia?)

Molto spartano servito però da ragazzi simpatici e gentili. Si mangiano piatti liguri cucinati con semplicità. Buono il fritto di pesce e il gelato alla crema con uvetta bagnata nel liquore.

Personale gentile ma non all’altezza di un buon servizio, materia prima di bassa qualità, ho ordinato uno spaghetto alle vongole che dopo 40 minuti è arrivato, ma era pasta in bianco con olio e due vongole messe su. La cucina e la ristorazione è un altra cosa, puoi provarci a servire questo cibo per gli stranieri, ma per gli italiani non va assolutamente bene.

Dopo anni che ci dicevamo che dovevamo provare questa trattoria, finalmente ci siamo stati...onestamente niente di che...misto torte salate che più che una porzione sembrava un assaggio in attesa del piatto vero, acciughe buone, ma anche lì niente di speciale. Vino rosso che sembrava vin brulè senza spezie dalla temperatura che aveva e non siamo stati gli unici a fare questo commento, visto che i nostri vicini di tavolo si sono fatti cambiare il vino per lo stesso motivo. Purtroppo siamo rimasti molto delusi, ben al di sotto delle nostre aspettative da un’insegna storica come Pezzi. Cibo di qualità media bassa, ingredienti poco “gustosi” e piatti davvero poco curati. Le acciughe al limone sapevano solo di aceto ed erano acide e servite con una porzione molto piccola. La pasta al pesto era normale ma senza lode. Il caponmagro mi è stato servito gelato, appena tirato fuori dal frigo, senza gusto se non di aceto. Servizio al tavolo veramente improvvisato, di bassa qualità e davvero superficiale. Oltre ad an aver aspettato 45 minuti per mangiare, abbiamo dovuto chiedere più volte per ordinare. Durante la cena una cameriera è passata con i sacchi della spazzatura in mezzo alla sala e ha sbattuto contro la sedia della mia ragazza. La stessa è poi passata con dei pacchetti di pesce e crostacei congelati che disincentivano a ordinare piatti con questi prodotti. Il tutto durante un week end di settembre in cui dalle 10 in poi il locale si stava svuotando. Prezzi alti per le porzioni e la qualità offerta. Mi spiace dirlo ma a parità di prezzo e di offerta a Santa Margherita ci sono osterie e trattorie nettamente migliori.

We went in because the ambiance looked very nice. The service was also fine. However, the food was not good at all. We ordered swordfish which we could not take a second bite of since it was too fishy. Our son ordered lasagna bolognese and the texture was weird and he could only have about half of it. The pesto pasta was decent. The Chianti that we ordered was sour and not good either. We did eat at other cafes and restaurants around the area for the rest of our stay and the food was decent.
