Best restaurant in Intra. The food is first class. The restaurant is away from the lake front but it is worth the walk.
A fantastic dining experience in a beautiful outdoor setting. The food at Ristorante Via Roma is outstanding — the cuttlefish ink pasta with vongole was rich, perfectly balanced, and among the best I’ve ever tasted. The vitello tonnato was equally excellent: tender, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Service was warm, friendly and efficient, adding to the relaxed yet refined atmosphere. A must-visit if you’re in Intra and looking for top-quality Italian cuisine in a charming location.
Everything our large group had was great. Pasta in the parmesan wheel was nicely prepared table side.
A Place at my taste ! Excellent food and great service. For all those who appreciate the real Italian kitchen with a touch of modernity will find their happiness. We will certainly come back 🥂

Most likely the best food I’ve ever had. The service was incredible even though we spoke no Italian and they spoke just enough English. This was a top experience for our trip to Italy!
This was an amazing culinary experience. From the nice and approachable staff to the quality of the food, everything was top notch. Amazing dinner, the best I've had since quite a while. If there is a reason to come back to Lago Maggiore, here is the one. Tried the suckling pig with herbs and a cheese plate. Both dishes were expertly prepared and beautifully presented. This place is a real gem.
I’m a Brazilian journalist and live in Brighton in England. On my 60th birthday I decided to go to Verbania and had lunch at Ristorante Via Roma, the service, staff and food are wonderful.
Had a lovely meal here this week. The menu has some unusual dishes. Restaurant customers were mostly locals rather than tourists. Had a fabulous mushroom risotto. Compliments to the chef. Highly recommend for food and service.
Great ambiance with lights, plants covering the space. Food playing is wonderful, every dish was a delight to look at, tasty. Particularly liked the fish tartare. Super nice and approachable staff. Highly recommend if you're interested in a memorable dining experience that won't break bank.
Phenomenal Italian food, great pasta! Lovely backyard garden with enough room between tables - you will not feel cramped in like in other restaurants. Highly recommend for a true Italian cuisine experience.
The best restaurant I have ever visited when on vacation. Even revisited because I couldn't get enough the first time. The food and ambiance are delightful plus a very friendly service to top it off.
Excellent food and service. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but on the inside it's quite nice and has a cosy atmosphere. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. The only thing I would have liked to have is an English menu, other than that I can totally recommend it.

My wife and I often eat here when in the area. The menu is quite traditional but always well prepared and presented. Intimate atmosphere. Outdoor area is very pleasant on a summer's evening. I recommend the Elephant's Ear!
