Avis sur Tamalpie Mill Valley
Great thin crust pizza, brussel sprouts and calamari fritti. Nice staff, good and fast service, delicious food.
Mill Valley favorite. Excellent service. Delicious pizza. Awesome spirits and beer selections. Very difficult to choose which pie to order. They all sound amazing. Went back twice in three days to try other menu items. Fennel sausage pie is amazing as is their pepperoni. Crusts are thin and tasty. Best shared plate was roasted corn with cotija cheese (served off the cob). Excellent Serrano pepper margarita too. You won’t be disappointed. Don’t forget to use the spicy olive oil served at the table. You’ll want some to take home. They even make a killer stone fruit and berry cobbler with hazelnut ice cream. This place is amazing.
Superb pizza. Plentiful seating both indoors and outdoors with heating. Friendly service. Good ambience. And healthy food. Hard to beat. Well located with easy parking. Family friendly and you see lots of families milling about. Loud and bustling. Plenty of TVs around for sports lovers but not obnoxiously so for ones who want to just sit and talk. Reasonable prices. And very friendly wait staff with healthy food options.
Great patio, service, draft beer list, appetizers and pizza. Parking lot in the back in fairly small and the glass surrounding the patio fire pit is 100% not kid friendly. Other than that there no way you can’t go wrong having a meal here. Cheers
We had a wonderful experience here on mothers day. The food and service were excellent. We will for sure return to try the different types of pizza pie. Oh and we highly recommend the zucchini fries 🍟 😋 👌
Fantastic atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Nice fire places. Ambiance could be great for a date or hanging with friends. Service was very good. Food temp and quality was some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Large menu to choose from. Nice bar area too.
Very friendly staff, the meals came out promptly, I requested for chicken instead of the organic beef for the burger and it was nicely grilled. I enjoyed my time there, the kids loved the pizza too.
Pizza was amazing and great stop on our bike ride. We tried 3 different types and all tasted really good. Staff was friendly and front patio was so relaxing on a bright sunny bay day.

We rented out the party room at Tamalpie for our wedding rehearsal dinner, and it was a big hit! Food was fantastic and our server/showrunner (Josh?) was amazing and kept everything moving at a good pace. We had one large hiccup that was almost catastrophic, as our booking was almost LOST during a turnover of the restaurants manager, which honestly was shocking -- however that is not reflected in my rating as I don't believe that to be the fault of the restaurant as it is now. Just be sure to double/triple check reservations if you have made them far in advance! I'm also taking 1 star off for atmosphere because although the decor and atmosphere of the main dining areas are fantastic, the party room in the back is quite barren/industrial by itself, so plan on decorating if that's not your vibe!
Probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. Calamari was amazing and the service was incredible. Several people waited on us and all were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Would give Tamalpie 10 stars out of 5 if I could - this place is seriously incredible! The food was impeccable (we got appetizers, main dishes, and dessert) and WOW. We were blown away with each one. Incredibly kind and friendly staff! Our server Oscar G. went above and beyond and was so good to us. We are so grateful we came and will definitely be back time and time again. So impressed.
‘Twas earlier in the day but my local fam decided to show off some good eats. The pizza was good and healthier options exist! Their beer had local and non-local, which left much to explore. The pasta was delicious and the appetizers were very appetite opening.
Brussel sprouts were tasty even though I felt that ours were a little too charred. Goddess salad was tasty. Great gluten free pizzas. Servers were friendly and helpful. Even though they couldn’t guarantee any cross contamination they said that they’d take precautions when preparing the gf pizzas.
I've always wanted to try this place out when in the area. We visited for dinner. Ordered a kids cheese pizza (all pizzas are the same size), broccolini, brussel sprouts, and key lime pie. Pizza was really good. Broccolini was cooked perfectly. First batch of brussel sprouts that came out were burnt but they quickly brought out a new batch. Food was decent, nothing to scream home about. Way overpriced for what they're serving. Service was what made the experience. Every server was super friendly, quick and accommodating. Bathrooms are gender neutral.
It was a wet and misty afternoon at Tamalpie. The fire was roaring. And Tamalpie's wonderful heavenly aroma. The Roasted Market Beet dish was succulent and delicious. The pizza's crust is thin and a bit of flavor. Hobbs wonderful pepperoni and sausage what really makes Troop 80 shine! We finished with lovely Pear Crostata with Pear Sorbet.
This is an awesome pizza place in Mill Valley. We stopped by randomly as we were driving by. The best part about the pizza was the crust, which was really crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. Super tasty! We tried the Hoo-Koo-E-Koo and the Blithedale Canyon, and both were really great. I forgot the name of our waiter, but he was also extremely polite and catering. A pleasant and delicious experience you shouldn't miss if you're in the small town.

Cozy and lots of great pizza options! We went with a group and had the mushroom pizza with vegan cheese, while others ordered regular cheese options. When our server brought out the Brussels sprouts to share, she put the cheese on the side automatically in case we wanted any. She was incredibly thoughtful! We also really enjoyed the cocktail menu and the fireplace was very welcome on a cold day.

The service was good and quick. Had a bit of wait but would recommend reserving in advance if you are more than 2 folks. The servers were very polite and friendly. The atmosphere was nice with rain. We sat outside and it was warm enough. The food was okay. We had the Brussels sprouts, arancini, green salad and tenderfoot pizza. Overall would recommend the salad and brussel sprouts. The arancini was okay and the pizza felt salty and didn't have enough taste.
We had made a lunch reservation in advance for around 25 people and decided on the menu items we wanted beforehand. They had made good arrangements with printed out customised menus. They had also suggested that we do family sized portions so everyone could share. The food was alright, but the issue was the sheer quantity of it. HUGE bowls of fries and really big and heavy serving plates that were impossible to pass around the table. Their family style portions were too big and it just generated a lot of leftovers even after 20 people had eaten. Overall, pretty overpriced food, (the summer ravioli pasta was good but the sauce was extremely bland and watery). Good drinks. They also charged us for 25 people which was our initial estimate, even though only 21 of us were there. Might have been better to just walk in.
Pizza as a whole was okay. The sauce was missing the it factor. The gluten free crust (top pizza) had a nice flavor and held well! Gluten free crust is not dairy free, contains milk powder. The Normal Crust (bottom pizza) was nice! Not as chewy as authentic Italian pizza but close. My husband said the slices that the clumps of sautéed onions spooned onto were extra soggy and did not hold up, but the other prices held their weight fine. At the end of the day, we are glad we crossed another pizzeria off the list but this wasn’t isn’t going to linger on our taste buds. Service was excellent! Everyone we spoke with absolutely excellent. All helpful, polite, and check in plenty. Lots of smiles were shared. 😊

Besides blasting their patio fire pit even though almost no one is ever around it, they also put 2 blast gas fires at their entrance. This appears to be just to attract attention as they warm almost no seating area and absolutely no one is ever by them. Maybe they should focus on their food to get attention vs pumping co2 into the air.
