Our server was very sweet. She was attentive and made sure we were good. The food was good. It was good temperature and tasted like home. The restaurant and curb appeal was very clean.
Waitress were smiling n. Very quick
One of the best ribeyes I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot. Extra friendly service
Stopped at this place while traveling. Great choice!! The food was quality, well prepared, and SO delicious! The chicken caliente was cooked to perfection and very tender. Best onion rings I've ever had. The place was packed, but we were seated and served quickly. Our server was kind and attentive. What a great dining out experience!
Great food and drinks were wonderful
Everything we ordered was very good. Margarita was excellent.
Great food & the locals enjoy lunch there. Good afternoon crowd & staff attentive.
Wow been in mineral Wells for almost a year.. finally tried this place and man I wasn't disappointed..I ordered a 2 meat plate with sliced brisket and pork ribs..came with 2 sides, and a dinner roll and a pickle spear.. I chose cowboy beans and garlic mash potatoes..everything came to about 21 dollars..and it was ready in about 10 minutes (and they were busy) I didn't even get a chance to eat it right away about an hour later..and it was sooo good brisket still moist and tender, ribs were spot on even though I prefer beef ribs..even my 7 yr old niece love every bite..we will be back soon. And the portion sizes were reasonable for the price..next time I will take a photo..
Great service n delicious food n prices of the lunch special are great !!
Everything at Mesquite Pit is great. BUT they no longer serve the wonderful cornbread muffins. Big mistake. Bring back the cornbread please.
This was the best stake we have had since we arrived to Graham TX for work. It is located in mineral wells tx. One would think all texas restaurants would know how to cook a stake yet as per our experience no so much. I highly recommend the akaushi ribeye. Here at the mesquite pit in mineral wells tx location.
Great service and food as always! Very attentive waitress! Thank-you!
The food was okay but must have had a mix-up in the kitchen. It took some time to receive our food, which was a party of 5. The waitress apologized, and we received a discount from the manager for the long wait. That was unexpected, and we were very appreciative of the gesture. We later sat at the bar and had a few cocktails. The bartender was awesome and served very good drinks. Overall, the experience was great.
I have been so hungry for Mesquite Pit's brisket and cheese grits. And whew, they did not disappoint. The brisket was so tender, juicy and flavorful. The poblano cheese grits are my favorite side dish. There is enough food in one order for two peiple so I'll have leftovers that make my tummy smile again.
Great atmosphere with friendly employees. It's definitely a great place to bring your family. The customer service is excellent! The servers are attentive and extremely helpful especially when it comes to choosing what to order. There are so many different choices on the menu to choose from too! Literally you could eat there everyday of the week and eat something different each day! Also whats even better are their prices. Just about everything on the menu is $12.99 or less except the seafood & steaks and personally I love their steaks!! They are AMAZING and very reasonably priced! So go & check out Mesquite Pit in Mineral Wells, Tx and see for yourself and just a reminder don't forget to tip your server!
Always good food and9 b8 service We keep going back
Ya'll have the best chicken fried steak in town and maybe the entire state.
The food was great and server was right on top of everything
Our server was Britt. She was welcoming and attentive. The food was the epitome of Texas comfort. If you’re passing through, this place is worth the stop— even if you have to go out of your way!
This place is tje best place to get an old fashion The chicken fried steak was absolutey delicious
Really solid restaurant. I got the grilled pork chop. It was fantastic.
great food and great service. Will be back when in the area
I don't live in Mineral Wells but I eat at this restaurant every time I go through here for camping or on the motorcycle. The food is great, service is great. The chicken fried steak is pretty much what you'd expect and a big portion, but the gilled items are exceptional such as grilled chicken and shrimp. Every side dish I have had is very good. The only complaint I have is you can't get grilled catfish on the grilled seafood plate, it's fried catfish. Not that it's bad but sometimes I prefer grilled over fried.
Server was super fast and attentive. Our party had fried green tomatoes with grits, catfish with fresh skewered vegetables and shrimp, and ribeye quesadillas. All delicious 😋
We love Mesquite Pit. The food is always great. The menu has something for everyone. Prices are good. You can eat in or pickup.
I travel the country and half of Texas for a living so I have tried food from all corners of the country. Let me say that the Chicken Fried Steak was tremendous. The breading was well seasoned and didn’t fall apart, the steak itself was delicious and perfectly cooked. But let me tell you about these green beans… I don’t know what kind of sorcery was involved in the seasoning of these delectable green beans, but they’ve got me feeling some type of way. When a grown man gets all hyped up over some damn green beans, you know you’re doing something special. I’ll be including this place in my last will and testament, and/or have them catering my last meal on earth. There isn’t a rating high enough to accurately describe this meal I just had. Just stop what you’re doing and go.
Shout-out to our excellent server RACHEL, and BRAVO to your talented kitchen staff for our yummy meals of catfish, chicken tenders, kid’s sausage, mesquite grilled chicken breast (mom’s FAV), and your massive tray of brisket nachos that all seven of us enjoyed. Thank all of you for our delicious meals. We will be back ASAP!
Some of the best food in this part of Texas comes from Mesquite Pit here in Mineral Wells. The manager, Phebie Fox, trains her staff how to please their customers. Everything from fried green onions, to grilled catfish, chicken fried steak, grilled ribeye and salads are the best in this area. The ambiance is also very comfortable and relaxing.
Great food, huge restaurant. Perfect for groups. They have great prices as well.
Billie is a great server and feel so fortunate to be assigned to her again. She kept our beverages filled and made sure we were happy with our choices.
Food was fantastic, service was amazing and the ambiance was nice. Had a fire pit lit and was nice and toasty coming in out of the cold to enjoy our wonderful dinner.
They have a great ability to cater to larger groups. Food is always wonderful, staff friendly, and prices reasonable.
Great place to have a BBQ dinner. Love their potato salad
It was an enjoyable experience. The waitress was super nice and on top of everything. Can’t wait to go back again.
The service is always excellent and the food delicious. This is one of my favorite restaurants.
Always friendly staff and delicious food. We live in Weatherford where we also have a Mesquite Pit restaurant but we choose to drive to Mineral Wells because of the service and food.
Came to mineral wells for the crazy water and this restaurant was amazing! The ribeye was perfectly cooked and the fried green tomatoes were incredible. Definitely recommend coming here!
While passing through town, we discovered an establishment where we placed an order to-go, and the food was prepared in under 10 minutes. The portions were generous, and the food was good !
Food is excellent and Kelsea is amazing waitress and very attentive
We visited on Sunday afternoon about 1:15. It wasn’t too crowded and we were waited on right away. Our order was served and it was correct, grilled chicken salad and shrimp skewers. The grilled veggie skewer was wonderful and the shrimp tasted great. Always love the green beans as a side, too.
Lexy was wonderful and handled our family outing wonderfully. The food was Delicious and only out shined by the speedy and amazing service we got from the time we walked in to the time we walked out. Everything looked so good that we didn't even think to take pictures and just dug in. I would highly recommend them!
My steak was less cooked then I would have liked. The waitress was very nice and had it cooked a little bit more. It was delicious and we had a great experience, even with a little hiccup. She was very friendly and not bothered at all that I asked to send it back. We will definitely go again.
Their rolls really need improvement, as they were extremely hard. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Our waitress was an absolute delight. My grandmother got the smoked Salmon and said it was delicious. Will come back again.
From Nebraska, spent the night in town and found this little gem. Nice place, atmosphere was good. Staff was excellent, always attentive, checking on my drinks, if I needed anything. Food was delicious, and not a long wait at all for the food. Definitely a place to go and enjoy yourself!
The grilled catfish was perfect and I was shocked to find my vegetable cabob tender and flavorful and the grilled shrimp cabob and baked potato were fabulous. The waitress was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and had perfect timing throughout my meal. Will definitely return.
Wow! What a great find in a small town! Thank you Google and my hubby’s hunger for chicken fried steak! I read reviews about the margaritas and boy were they right! Very smooth taste! I got a mango margarita on the rocks and it was so good! Highly recommend the cowboy queso!! Man was it good!! I had the fried catfish with onion rings and green beans and I was delighted with its taste and battering! Definitely, definitely recommend!
The sign said they have the best margaritas in three counties, so I had to try them! I was impressed! They use fresh squeezed juice. No mixes! Pro tip… get tajin on the rim instead of salt. It’s so good! Adds a little salty spice to your sweet margarita. I had the catfish and it was great! I ate two pieces before I took the picture, so just know it comes with 4 good size pieces of fish. My bartender was fantastic and the bar area is great. I would definitely come back again!
Definitely coming back the next time I'm in Mineral Wells! The staff were friendly and helpful even though it was busy. The 10oz. ribeye was spiced and cooked perfectly. I loved the smoke and char flavor. Next time I'm getting the Cowboy Beans, those look good. The rolls will frustrate my Dr., but only Granny makes'em better. The bathroom was clean and well stocked.
Really great food with amazing customer service Would definitely recommend the chopped brisket with extra sauce. Get ready to get stacked! UPDATE This place continues to be an amazing addition to the community. Their service and food is definitely a great experience. I tried their chicken fried steak which was perfectly balanced with the crispiness and tenderness. The gravy was a bit too peppery but still delicious. Loved the grilled veggie skewer and I was surprised about their cornbread! Their cornbread here is BOMB. WOULD HIGHLY recommend ordering a side of cornbread and also some ranch or even BBQ ranch!

Very friendly service, and the brisket and chicken fried chicken with gravy are absolutely delicious! I'd honestly order the peach cobbler every single day if I could, it's just a-ma-zing!

Our family go to place for Dinner always a great atmosphere and staff is nice and prompt Recommend all the entrees and desert and beverages both tea & alcohol !
This restaurant has been so good for my wife and I to drive from Ft Worth to get great food and drinks. Kaylee, James, General Manager, staff are great people.
We did carry out bc they don't have outside seating where you can have dogs. Food was good and portions generous. I was surprised by amount of meat on my brisket plate. I'd prefer more smoke flavor but this is personal preference. Onion rings were nothing to write about. Good cooking but a little boring. Atmosphere is typical steak house - lots of wood and high ceilings.
Food was simple but good. When you ordered grilled food that's what you expect, that's what we got. What made this place for us was our server. A transplant from CA, she was so pleasant and thorough. Great place, wasn't loud and spacing was nice. We didn't have to sit on other people at other tables and could speak at normal levels.
Best reasonably priced steak in m Mineral Wells, casual atmosphere and great service.
I would give it five stars but the online ordering is very confusing. The website gives a Weatherford location option and my food ended up there. It's a long story but they claim it happens all the time. I can see how. The food is amazing though.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 out of 5 stars) I’ve always loved the food here — the soup is consistently good and the team clearly cares about their customers. It’s been a while since my last review, but I wanted to share some honest feedback. Lately, I’ve noticed some changes that feel like cost-cutting measures, and they’re noticeable. I understand why cornbread was discontinued, but I miss it! I’ve seen other restaurants make similar choices, and it usually comes down to managing waste. My suggestion: train servers to count or portion items more carefully instead of grabbing handfuls. It may take a little more effort, but it prevents waste and keeps quality consistent. When it comes to soup, most people expect fresh saltines or Lance crackers — not stale ones. The soup itself was great, though, and the customer service team handled my concern with kindness and grace. Even with a few changes, I’ll continue to eat here and support this business because they genuinely try to make every experience a good one.
Good food. Service was a bit slow. Waitress friendly.
Normally this would be a 5 star review, but this time...not so much. Chicken fried steak was really fried. Almost to tough to eat, onion rings lacked seasoning. Catfish was amazing as normal. Service was quick as always, lady at the front was as enthusiastic as normal. I think her name was Rachel? I love the 2 for 25 tuesday. This time it was 2 for 25 each. But that's ok. I really enjoy eating here. Just too bad I waited till my 100th time here to sign up for the rewards. This is truly a gem in a small town.
We went around 6pm and it was pretty busy, this was my first time here. Our waitress had a full plate and was still able to care for us with no issues. Both of us got the chicken fried steak, I opted out for the more tender that was a dollar more and it was worth it! Real mashed potatoes and gravy, with some banging fried Okra. The strawberry daqarie hit the spot after a long hard day of working at our nonprofit reptile rescue Living Wild Outside. Def recommend this place and will be back again!!
The food was good except for the onion rings they were cold service was ok but waitress had a attitude spoiling everything else
Desiree was absolutely wonderful the first night we was there with a party of 3. Checked on us often, made sure we was comfy, on point recommendations, laughed with us. The 2nd night, they were able to accommodate a party of 8 without reservations. I forgot our waitress name but she was wonderful as well. A place worth eating at when visiting or passing through mineral wells
Very good brisket sandwiches and service, only the wearhouse atmosphere is boring
The moist brisket was good but just a little bit dry. The okra was heavily breaded but tasty. The coleslaw was the standout excellently crafted and delicious. One roll and one cornbread with packaged butter with the bun being fresh but the cornbread a little bit on the stale side and both barely lukewarm. Otherwise this would be a full five stars for food.
SOLID bbq option if passing through town and looking for a case of the meat sweats. Came in on a Wed afternoon during lunch service. Large establishment with ample parking and a lively atmosphere. Definitely seems like a place popular with the locals! Got several plates and here’s what I’d say. Anything fried? Fantastic. These folks have a deft touch with the fryer. Sides were pretty standard. Pretty good but not memorable. Same goes for sausage. The Ribs? Fantastic and I’d highly recommend. The brisket didn’t do it for me. Lots of high ratings here but for me on this day it wasn’t hitting. Service was friendly and attentive! Recommend as a good spot to break bread when in town.
Maybe I came to this location (Mineral Wells) with high expectations since my experience with the Weatherford location was superb. The place was busy and too noisy for us so I ask the lady if is possible to get a table at the not so crowded section where she responded to my surprise that was not possible. Few minutes later she changed her mind and moved us to a table at the corner of the building. My wife literally was facing the wall. There was several tables available in the area but I really didn’t want to bother again. Maybe she was having a bad day. I was ready to give a 1 star for service but a male server that took our order was actually outstanding and saved the day. What we learned? It only take 1 moody employee to mess up the costumer experience or another to make it outstanding.
Fantastic barbeque. Ribs, brisket, ham, and sausage were amazing. Sides and dessert need some work (other than poblano grits they were incredible). Appetizer sampler with armadillo eggs, fried pickles, and fried green tomatoes was great. Chicken fry could've used more seasoning but was incredibly tender and a very good portion. Beautiful restaurant inside. Service was okay. We will definitely be back.
5 of us stopped for a work lunch. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter, Gage, was top-notch. He was friendly, attentive, and funny. He made recommendations for our meal. I chose the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. The steak was tender, the breading seasoned well, and the cream gravy was what I expected with a CFS. Overall I was very pleased with the food. My table mates had mixed reactions on the sliced brisket. The ribs and smoked sausage were very much enjoyed. This is definitely a great place to stop for a wonderful meal.

Ok, I have never left a negative review on here. That being said, I feel like I need to share my experience. My husband took me here for my birthday. The restaurant wasn’t busy as we waited until the lunch rush was over before going. The staff put together a spot for a large party next to us, 23 to be exact. My husband asked if we could be moved since there were many empty seats further away from the big party. The hostess said she’d need to ask the manager…who refused to let us move. She said she couldn’t accommodate us because it was noisy, when there were many available empty tables. I was pretty shocked & disappointed by this. We took the food home and as usual it was delicious…just baffled as to why we couldn’t move. I do want to add that our waitress, Billie, was so sweet though!
Wasn’t impressed and hard to sell Texas bbq being the best with the brisket here. Dry dry dry ! The sausage was decent not great by any means. They have a brisket jalapeño popper that was good only reason for the 3 stars. Disappointed
What a neat place, it reminds me of the Montana Club restaurant in Missoula MT. So here's the skinny, the food here needs a bit of work and then this place gets 5* across the board. The main sign says Steak and BBQ, but it could just as well say fish & chips. Steak & BBQ is not a specialty, but it is an option. Our food was served under temperature which is a direct reflection of the server who was M.I.A. most of the time. Mia was very friendly just not attentive to make sure drinks stayed full or to check on things like extra napkins or to seef if the food was even cooked properly. We ordered a ribeye and sliced brisket for our meals. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium so kudos to the chef. It was nice and tender, but had very little flavor. My ribeye was a huge letdown, it tasted like it was seasoned with all spice, just very bland. This $30.00 steak needs to pop with flavor and melt in your mouth. TIP: Steaks are served with butter on top to add not only flavor, but to the texture. This gives it the effect that it is melting in your mouth. The sliced brisket needs quite a bit of work as well, I think it is store bought and heated up to serve. Definitely not made fresh either way. It was considerably dried out and didn't show any signs of a smoke ring. We ate very little of the brisket. My dog loved it though! As for the sides, this is the only place I know of that doesn't give you Mac & cheese as an option with your brisket. There are lots to choose from though. Here is what I remember. Mashed potatoes, baked potato, French fries, green beans, baked beans, fried okra and 1/2 of a corn on the cob. I hope to see some changes so I can give them 5*
The rolls were decent, croutons in salad so hard you couldn't eat them, brisket queso was good but chips had an old greasy taste to them, small bake potato wasn't hot enough to melt the butter and the brisket with it - well it was a bbq brisket which I don't believe was disclosed on the menu - it looked and tasted like buffet brisket. Waitress was attentive and friendly!
I’m not sure how they are still open. They don’t clear tables they just continue to let them get cluttered with dirty dishes and wait until people leave until they clear off the mess. Our steaks were unseasoned and 1/4 of inedible fat. There’s a bunch of waitstaff just standing around aimlessly. I would not recommend coming here for a steak you’ll get better quality and price at chilis. If we come back it will be to try the Barbeque.
Over the years the prices have been going up so much it's usually $50 for 2 people just dinner and tea which is too much for Mineral Wells and to be seated in metal cafeteria chairs in my opinion. I've tried many things from the menu and all have been good. We've had family dinners here, quick lunch, and even to go orders. They are very consistent and friendly. You don't feel cramped even when it's a full house. My favorites are the armadillo eggs, chicken fried steak, ribeye, BBQ, loaded baked potato with brisket and steak salad. My mother loved their catfish and that's what she ordered every time along with fried green tomatoes. Waiting 20 minutes or longer to be seated during busy times can seem long and painful but I'm impatient like that. Sweet tea from here is so good! When you need real food and a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff this is a pricey but good option.
We came here on the suggestion of a business associate. Overall it was good but I think I expected more. Our appetizer was the Chips with Queso & Brisket. That may have been the highlight of the meal. A group of four had lunch and everyone ordered something different. I had the Brisket Sandwich w/Potato Salad. I think the Brisket had too much sauce which over powered the meat which I think could have stood on its own. The Potato Salad was just the right amount of all ingredients to make it great! The others chose Ribs, Burger, & Sliced Brisket. I was told the ribs fell short of expectation. He said they were cooked perfectly but again the sauce over powered the meat. No complaints from the Burger or Sliced Brisket. I did order a glass of Lemonade - it wasn’t worth it. It seemed to lack the lemony flavor I was looking forward and could barely tell the sweetness. They were no refills on Lemonade which was disappointing so customers pay by the glass. If one were to order go with easy ice since that seemed to take up most of the glass with not enough Lemonade to last. No time for dessert as we all had places to be. Our servers told us the Banana Pudding was really good unfortunately we were traveling and none of us wanted to travel back with it. If I am in the area I would like to try the menu for dinner so I would give this place another try. Maybe my business would allow me a return trip if so I’d stop in again.

Went here on a Wednesday evening around 7:30. Was immediately seated in the main dining room. This was our first time to visit. After looking at menu we waited for a good 15 minutes with waitstaff …
My first time ever eating here and I Will NEVER eat here again! On May 2, 2019 approximately 6pm. The service was terribly slow (As if they were taking their time.) I got the special 16oz Prime Rib. When my food came it had about 6oz of fat (See attached picture). After complaining about the excess fat the manager came to me and told me that it is the way the steak comes. My next question was why didn't the waitress tell me it is a 16oz steak with 6oz of fat. Of course the manager told me "sorry I can't do anything about this" I chuckled and reminded her that she was the manager. At that point she walked away. I have been eating Prime Rib for a long time. Long enough to know this was NOT a good cut. This Prime Rib was the worst one I have ever gotten anywhere an it didn't taste good at all! On top of that there was a person at another table had a waiter change the TV from the Toronto and Philadelphia play off game and put on a lifetime reality show. I called our waitress over and ask her if she could just put on something that everyone would like. When she was changing the channel of course the people at the other table said that they were watching that. Our waitress replied while pointing at us that the people behind you don't want to watch this. My thought was why would Mesquite Pit train there employees to try to start a fight between other customers? I will never eat here again. I would suggest going to Pasta Fina, Chili's or even driving to Weatherford for a Nizza Pizza!
Food was terrible. Brisket was so dry, fried okra had no flavor. Took almost an hour to get our food and it looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for almost that long too. Service was subpar and very slow.
I’m so disappointed. We waited over 30 minutes just to get our drinks service was incredibly slow. Our waiter was very kind but we spent $180 and my brisket was gray. It was so dry and tough tasted like it was baked. Ribs tasted ok but no bark again tasted baked in the oven. Corn dodgers were clearly old and cooked in old oil. We have 3 kids so we don’t eat out often and I honestly want to cry because I was so looking forward to amazing bbq. The server did offer to replace my food but honestly we were 2 hours into being there and I just wanted to leave. In my opinion yall need to significantly lower your prices so it matches the food. These prices are for 5 star bbq and this is definitely a 1 star.
I decided to walk out today because I noticed after the longest time of coming here that they charged 3.5% to use your credit card. Now I can understand that for a small business, but this is a larger business. They're always packed. The food hasn't been great the last couple of times that I've been here but I keep coming back for some reason but not tonight - I'm done
Waiter was a bit overbearing and didn't take the hint that we didn't want a full blown conversation everytime he came to the table. Even when we were done eating he didn't offer the check and when asked for he hesitated to give it to us.Mid dinner the server had even spilt tea on my boyfriend while pouring us tea. Brisket was dry. Clean environment though. Food wasn't worth taking a picture of. Bit of a disappointment. Maybe we will come back to try for lunch.
Don't waste your time. Mixed up the drinks, served the wrong appetizer, onion rings were tasteless, sat for an hour and 20 minutes and STILL didn't have a meal. 15 minutes after that it was done (Brisket, potato salad and coleslaw). Server was not well trained, no common sense. Had to ask for rolls. Never again!
I was in Mineral Well for training. Decided to try some local BBQ. Well I should have known if they serve seafood, their BBQ would not be good. I was right. Brisket had a great smoke ring. That is where it ended. Tasteless and rubbery. Sausage the same. No flavor and store bought. Very disappointed. The only reason this place gets a 4.4 rating is because people dip the meat in the sauce and dont try the meat with out the sauce first. Even the sauce was subpar.
The fact that my husband and I were in town for a meeting and decided to spend $60 at a restaurant for two people was already infuriating. But since my husband loves barbecue, I decided hey let’s try your location out. We will never be back. Ever again. To have to get up to ask for our own refills is INSANE especially when the table next to us had no issues getting a full pitcher of tea refilled while she sat in the back and talk to her friends. Mind you we ran out of our drinks prior to the table next to us. We had ONE refill and I had to get it myself. When I then let receptionist/cashier know after she asked how our experience was I let her know that I was frustrated and upset. She then ignored me and just told my husband here’s a total you can pay right here. I then proceeded to look at her and I said usually when someone tells you they’ve had a bad experience, you sympathize with them and let them know that you understand and you hear them. She then got a attitude and said well do you want to speak to the manager? I said no. I want you to realize you should have some sympathy, especially if you’re working the front counter, asking questions about how our experience was. I don’t want anything free but know you lost some amazing customers from Weatherford who have waitresses fight over our tables in Wford. We are a great table to have and we tip well IF the service is good. We know how hard SOME waitresses work. Hopefully this will get back to someone in charge so you can have a talk with them to be honest.
The service was fine. The food was absolutely terrible. I have no idea where they got all the 3-5 star reviews at. The ribs were both undercooked and burnt at the same time. I didn’t even know that was possible. The ribeye had to have went straight from the fridge to the grill with not lick of seasoning. The salt and pepper I smothered it in at the table didn’t help either. The hamburger that we got in place of the ribs is currently tied with Burger King for the worst burger in America. Most everyone in there was drinking rather than eating. We now see why. There was also a mouse running around by the bar while we were there. Please save yourself some money and go eat at the 7-11 down the road.
We went here after church, and at first things seemed fine—there was no wait to be seated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. It took about 10 minutes just to get our drinks and around 20 minutes to receive our appetizer. After placing our order, we waited **over an hour** for our food. During that time, we asked our server multiple times, but she could only tell us that some of it was “done” and wasn’t sure why the rest wasn’t coming out. Eventually, we spoke to a manager, and about 5–10 minutes later, our food was finally brought out. By then, we were all frustrated. You could tell some of the food had been sitting under a heat lamp, the steak and brisket were dry and shriveled. None of our meals were complicated to cook, yet several tables who came in well after us received their food, ate, and left before ours arrived. Our server was kind and apologetic, but we were never offered any discount or gesture to make up for the wait and poor quality. In the end, I paid $81 for two kids’ meals, a quesadilla appetizer, a cheeseburger, and grilled chicken. This was hardly worth the price given the experience. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had in a while.
