Best food ever! Stopped in today to grab a togo order chicken shawarma and fries! Omg the garlic sauce is to die for! Always very fast and fresh! I would not recommend any other restaurant in modesto other then memo’s!!!
I've traveled the world with my stomach leading the way. This place is amazing, their food is the best in Modesto. Great family business, everyone is so friendly and hospitable. Stop here ever time I pass through.
Food , service, and atmosphere are excellent. You can see the food being prepared right in front of you. It's very tasty and filling. Please support locally owned places such as this one ,
Delicious food served fast in a good restaurant with a basic environment. The flavors and fresh ingredients are on point at this restaurant. I have never been disappointed with any dish. The pita is a nice, light easy to wrap style. Meats cooked with delicious seasons and served nicely sliced and piping hot.
This is my new favorite place to eat in Modesto -- WOW! The food was amazing! And if anything, the service was even better! It's not necessarily much to look at inside or out, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this place and it's awesome Lebanese cuisine! 🤩 I'm definitely going to be back here again and again
This place is delicious! All the ingredients are so fresh....the tabbouleh is a must try. I ordered the gyro wrap and it was so good and I think the Baba Ghanoush should be packaged to go. 😍 The service staff was more than helpful....they gave us a really satisfying experience. Will absolutely be returning!
Food was DIVINE! These ladies care♥️ Special attention was paid to details of preparation, flavor combinations, and quality. Not a fan of lunchtime old guy patriarchal feel, but they must know where the good food is 😂Will def return for lunch😍😍
Chicken shawarma and tabuleh were excellent!
Gotten take-out like 3 times now? Always fantastic. Lebanese falafel = best falafel. Pickled radish is a must. Their hummus is perfectly smooth and balanced in all its flavors. One of the best places in Modesto.
We have 3 middle eastern restaurants in our city, yet I wholeheartedly would drive 25 minutes one way just to enjoy their cooking. Sooo delicious. Not a fan of chicken, but their chicken kabob 😋
Good, cheap food. Like really really good. I love that even though the prices are reasonable, the food tastes wonderful and I have never had any issues with my food after 4 times of eating it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a satisfying cheap meal.
This place is always delicious! I get the beef salad or chicken salad. It’s always fresh and meat well seasoned. The customer service is amazing. The ladies are always friendly and smiling.
Absolutely fabulous! The food was so good I wish I didn’t get so full so I could eat more! And the service was excellent! Felt like I was at a friends home. We will definitely be back.
Oh my goodness. This place is amazing! Everything about it. The food. The service. Hands down the best. The ladies were so sweet to my 2.5 year old son too. So warm and engaging and friendly. We will definitely be back!
Little hole in the wall place. Very friendly cashier. I got a gyro sandwich and the veggies were fresh, crisp, and delicious. Super yummy, will definitely be back
We came here for lunch, I ordered the chicken shawarma plate. It was amazing! For $11 I got hummus, pita, rice, chicken … all delicious. The baklava is made in house !
Always love coming here for lunch. Brought them a new lifetime customer when a friend enjoyed their Beef Shawarma. Amazing stuff.
The food is always amazing, no matter what you order. Nice family. Good atmosphere. Good amount of food for the price as well. Best food in Modesto. My boyfriend and I always visit when we go to Modesto.
Absolutely delicious. The hummus 10/10. We destroyed the gyro plate immediately. Just the smell of the restaurant got us excited. Definitely coming back.
Lunch at Me'Mo's Middle Eastern Cuisine was fantastic. A gyros plate with rice, humus, and pickled vegetables. On my first visit here with my sister and brother-in-law, we tried several dishes and finished our dinner with coffee and baclava. This is a very small restaurant with only four tables, but the food and service are worthy of any four-star restaurant.
I love the food here. Tasty with a touch of love from the family owner. Highly recommended. Also, I recommend that you try their hookah lounge in Modesto it's one of the best
Staff are super friendly fast service and the food was delicious
So happy to have tried this delicious place! The service was wonderful, I felt welcomed and my order was ready very quickly. The chicken has a delightful crispy texture and is deliciously indulgent on top of the salad. I would go here again in a heartbeat!
Yesterday I tried one of their wraps and it was delicious. ❤️❤️❤️ I enjoyed my meal. I recommend their fries the seasonings was spot on ❤️❤️The food tasted fresh. I recommend this place to anyone who’s willing to try something different and the employees very nice and wonderful.
One of the best restaurants here in San Francisco, it's home made food , very delicious, fresh, tasty, people in the kitchen are very friendly, I highly recommend this place for those who looking for a real middle Eastern food. Cant wait to visit this place again.
I have been wanting to eat here for a while and I finally went. I got the Fun Falafel wrap and the Abdou's special. They were both really good, especially the Abdou's special. They have a wide variety of entrees, I'm looking forward to going back. The owners are also very nice. I called and asked for suggestions and it was on point. I would definitely recommend eating here.
Our first time in there, we will definitely be back! The father is so nice and took the time to give us taste tests because he overheard us talking about which meat we haven’t tried! The daughter is also friendly! They genuinely are great people with patience for those who are not too familiar with their menu! Our Shawarma was delicious
Small family-run restaurant offering authentic and flavorful food inarge portion and good service. Menu wasn't too extensive, but there were plenty of options to choose from. We tried: ·Abdou's Special Sandwich ($10.99, chicken shawarma in a sesame wrap with fries and pickles + pickled cabbage/cucumber + hummus + fries, highly recommend!) ·Gyro plate ($10.99, pieces of well-seasoned meat (combo of beef and lamb) + hummus + pickles + rice + tzaziki sauce. !!TIP!! Ask for the garlic sauce and ketchup for the fries. You'd be tempted to order another plate of fries Also, don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free dessert!
Great little family place, the food is fresh and flavorful. Friendly service and the homemade food served promptly with a smile. We were surprised to be the only ones there on a Friday evening, but maybe we just beat the crowd.

I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. I have really bad stomach issues and it is very difficult for me to find restaurants I can eat at constantly without getting sick. The food is always fresh , and nothing is dripping with grease. Everything I eat here always feels so clean and I don't get the painful bloating I experience eating elsewhere. The staff is also very warm and friendly. My wife asked if I could get something light on a day I was feeling particularly sick, and they came up with something perfect. Which was like a godsend to me, because I wasn't able to keep anything else down that day.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I came in with a friend during a quiet time for lunch, where we were instantly warmed with the welcoming atmosphere. It’s somewhat unassuming, but in an almost familial way! We could tell before we even saw the menu that the food would be phenomenal. We ordered dolmas, a falafel pita, a chicken shawarma wrap, and baklava. For drinks, we shared a plain yogurt drink and Turkish coffee. We were both happy when the food was even more delicious than expected! The falafel was fresh and delicious, the shawarma was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the dolmas were fantastic. The Turkish coffee was the best coffee I’ve ever had, and the yogurt drink (although it took a second to get used to) went perfectly with all the flavors (plus it’s great for your stomach). This is a small owned, family run business. They were very friendly and enjoyable, brought the dishes out separately when we were ready, and overall went above and beyond with service. I will definitely be returning as often as possible!
The food was delicious. I have not had good falafels anywhere in Modesto or surrounding area. Highly recommend, it tasted home made ❤️🙏
Eating at Memo’s feels like being welcomed into a Lebanese home. The food is full of warmth and comfort with every dish tasting like it was made with love. The flavors remind me of family meals, and the staff always treat us with such genuine kindness. It’s the kind of place you want to come back to, not just for the food, but for the feeling. Memo’s is something special, and I’m so glad we get to enjoy their amazing food 😊
I can’t speak highly enough about this Middle Eastern restaurant. The service was top-notch – the staff were friendly, accommodating, and made sure our meal went smoothly. The food was mouthwatering; from the savory lamb moussaka to the perfectly spiced falafel, each dish was a testament to the chef’s expertise. The ambiance was stunning – with rustic yet elegant furnishings, and subtle lighting that created a relaxed and intimate setting. Whether you’re coming for a casual meal or a celebration, this place is sure to impress. I’ll be back soon!
I don't know why I'm being asked a second time but whatever Google, I'm fine expressing my satisfaction once again. Amazing Gyros, love steak fries, seasoning great. My second visit already had my order memorized and remembered me. Go here.
We spontaneously chose to dine here tonight add the recommendation of a friend. We enjoyed it very much. I’ve had Gyros before and enjoyed them very much, and these were among the best. We tried a couple of new (to us) items — Baba Ghanouj and Dolma. They were delicious and we’d be glad to enjoy them again. As a small independent establishment, the proprietors provided the cooking and service to us. They were engaging, friendly, and prompt in their attention to us.
The best falafel wrap that I have ever eaten. I will be ordering food here regularly. But it's primarily a take out place.

The food was quite and amazingly tasty! I had hummus a and baba ganoush. Very impressed with the flavors. I was not impressed with the lack of help from the guy behind the counter. When I asked something he simply replied "It's on the menu" and he did not tell me they had a combo which was 2 bucks cheaper for obvious reasons. Aside from that the food was great!
Updates below: First time eating here and I am so happy I discovered this place. Their food is soooo good and the portions are very generous! Garlic & hot sauce are a must with the rice. I got a combo plate and it fed me for the whole day basically. My new favorite place 👐🏽 Update: I have eaten here 16 times here in the last year so I'm a regular, but I've noticed that they take a really long time and mess up my order more often than before. The food is still pretty great 90% the time. The chicken is sometimes a bit dry.

I used to come here all the time prior to covid and the daughter helping Me'Mo was so funny and sweet. All meals came with the roasted/grill tomatoes and plenty pickles, tahin packs a d sauces. Past 3 years I started Door Dashing and no grilled tomatoes and no sauces...came in and was met with a rude daughter who clearly doesn't want to be there. The same pickles that come with my meal included from day one to Delievery, when asked for them she charged us $5. No grilled tomatoes and she was super stingy with the sauces. I'm glad I saw Me'Mo atleast. Kind of sad that the typical parts that made my meal enjoyable are now forgotten about and to charge me for something that I always get for free was ridiculous. I ordered Delievery again today and sure enough the pickled side dish was included as part of the meal. Funny what people will do to discourage people from actually coming into enjoy their restaurant.
Ordered the chicken kebab plate and the shawarma plate. The chicken kebab was seasoned really good but did not care for the flavor of the shawarma. I was also expecting yellow rice but was given white basmati. The hummus wasn't smooth but lumpy and lacked flavor. The garlic sauce is super good. Pricing for the meals were reasonable.
Staff was very friendly and helpful great people, the chicken shwarma plate was decent but dry chicken and what seems to be plain white rice was not ideal, the hummus was good at least and put all together on pita is the way to go.

Review is for prices. I placed an order over the phone expecting prices based on their own website. Actual prices were about 50% higher once I got there to pay. Please remove the prices from your website menu or update them.

They have to exert more effort in customer service. Food took too long to be done! We were only two families in the restaurant. Rest room is inside the kitchen, so you have to get approval from staff to go to rest room. Food is ok, but everything has oil in it which is not healthy! Need to improve their menu and pricing!

First, what you get for your money isn’t worth it in portion size. I got the beef Shawarma wrap and it was gristle in every bite. Done with this place!
Burned gyro meat. Dry rice. Overcooked French fries. How is this establishment still in business. That is terrible quality control and I would be ashamed to be the owner of this restaurant. My meal should have been thrown away and remade but because I ordered it through DoorDash I was stuck with it. Stay AWAY!
We really wanted to love this place. The food smelled great, but the flavor was not to our particular liking... and then my wife ordered a shawarma, and it had a hair in it. We wont be going back ever.
While the food generally has good flavor, I noticed I felt sick a number of times after I ate there. The cashier girl can be unfriendly or is selectively so with customers and seems as if she acts fakely nice rather than being genuine, because she turns being nice on and off depending on the customer. After getting sick twice in a row I decided never to go there again. It was so bad I felt as if I had been poisoned because I was sick a whole week. Only eating oatmeal made me feel any better, because it scrubs your arteries and intestines of whatever junk remains in them.
