Wow! What a lovely find. I enjoyed the most amazing Indonesian soup, best I have ever had. Can also recommend the fillet steak, cooked to perfection 👌🙏We were there to celebrate our anniversary + the chef/owner was the most wonderful host and excellent chef. We will be returning on Wednesday to try more of the amazing sounding dishes they have on the menu. 👌🙏❤️ Ps. We did return on Wednesday. My husband had the most amazing dish pre-prepared by Sander of goat stew & I had The Indonesian special which was totally amazing and very large. You won't need a starter before this dish & You won't be disappointed. Sander is a very talented chef & an amazing kind & friendly man & his waitress (sorry can't remember her name) was also lovely. We will definitely return here on our next visit to Gran canaria. 👌🙏❤️ 5 ⭐

Myself and my wife went to this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. I had the prawns which were amazing and half a chicken with the most amazing chips I've ever eaten. On top of this the owner Sander was the friendliest owner we have ever encountered. Truly a fantastic human being and top chef. It's a definite must visit if you come to Gran Canaria.

Dit restaurant is Michelin-ster gastronomisch waardig! Wij komen al ruim 30 jaar op het Eiland maar Restaurant Monsinör in Playa de Cura is een van de beste van heel het zuiden van Gran Canaria!.

We were so delighted to discover this restaurant at playa del cura after testing so many others (Las Palmas, Maspalomas, Playa Amadores, Mogán etc) . delicious food, we tried pretty much everything on the menu and it was fantastic ! From steak to Asian meals, we had a blast. Coming from France, we seem to be quite picky on our food but this restaurant made us enjoy every little bit ! Managed by a very friendly couple who make you feel comfortable right away and very fair prices! Cheers :)

What a awesome steak I got from the lava grill. It was like butter and at a reasonable price. Go for medium rare and you wont be disappointed.

Excellent prawns, especially cajun & coconut ones were superb! This place is really worth a visit. Wish I could take those cajun shrimps back home with me!

Verrassend dichtbij heerlijk kunnen eten. Nederlandse kok die ook een praatje met je maakt om een nieuwe gast te verwelkomen. Man en ik Mixed Grill besteld. Aanrader!! Mals vlees inclusief mini salade en overheerlijke patat. Rode wijn Shiraz was van goede kwaliteit voor een goede prijs. Kortom; verscholen locatie maar zeker de moeite waard hier lekker te eten.

Das Restaurant befindet sich direkt in unserer Apartment-Anlage MONSENOR, und wir können es sehr empfehlen – ein echter Genuss direkt vor der Haustür! Der Chef, Sander, kocht selbst – und das auf höchstem Niveau. Er ist ein perfekter Koch, was man an der Qualität und dem Geschmack der Gerichte merkt. Wir haben schon fast alle Gerichte probiert, und jedes war auf seine Weise einzigartig!

Jídlo je tu přímo famózní. Steak - lepší jsem nikdy a nikde na světě nejedla, podávaný se salátem, který byl skvěle ochucený. Krevety - připravované na másle - neuvěřitelný požitek pro chuťové pohárky, pizza, kuře, těstoviny, bbg žebra... a vlastně vše je VYNIKAJÍCI. Sandr - dle mého nejlepší kuchař na světě. Oba majitelé Sandr - vaří a Jana - jídla servíruje, jsou příjemní, vstřícní a snaží se vám splnit vaše kulinářské přání. A co víc, pro nás Čechy, kteří moc nevládneme cizími jazyky, je velmi příjemné, že se zde domluvíte českým jazykem - jelikož Jana je Češka. Takže Češi a i bratři a sestry ze Slovenska, kteří navštívíte jih Gran Canarie (Playa del Cura) neváhejte a do této restaurace zavítejte, budete mít skvělý kulinářský zážitek.

Super lecker Essen, wir haben indonesisch gegessen, das war sooo gut. Schönes Ambiente, nettes Personal, der Chef kocht selbst. Sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her.

Visited with my two sons (5 and 7 years old). Everyone got what they wished for (shrimps, pasta with chicken and a steak). Each dish was excellent, favourite restaurant of both my sons in the entire island. Super friendly staff, and something to see for the kids.

Mein Lieblings Essen sind die Rippchen und die gibt es in zwei Varianten. Vieles andere natürlich auch. Super Koch und private Atmosphäre.

Sehr gute Küche. Die beiden Inhaber sind sehr freundlich. Man fühlt sich wie bei Freunden. Sehr zu empfehlen die Gambas in Butter/Öl und die Spareribs. Aber auch die Steaks sind top. Auf extra Wünsche wird gern eingegangen.

Amazing. Our favourite restaurant in Gran Canaria and we live here. Sander is an amazing chef and his oriental food is really authentic. He is so talented and the food is so tasty. Jana is a gem. Such a nice person. We just love coming here with our family. Always a brilliant welcome and we are guaranteed good food. I recommend ordering the specialities in advance. But his Bbq ribs are also fantastic.

Een echte aanrader voor wie gezellig en lekker, ver van de vele " toeristenvallen", wil gaan eten. Voor elk wat wils, met liefde klaargemaakt door de chef aan het fornuis en opgediend door een fijne gastvrouw. Goede prijs/kwaliteit. Letterlijk en figuurlijk met je voeten in het zwembad. De chef spreekt Nederlands! Topadres!

Looked it up at Google maps. Found our way up the hill and were seated. Ordered entrecote and spareribs. One of the entrecotes was a bit tough to cut and chew - no problem: a new one came within minutes. No arguments. That is what I call service. All the meat was tasty, and the owners extremely welcoming and friendly. We will come back.

Once again another great meal in Monsenor Restaurant, made really welcome by Jana and Sander. I had stir fry beef and mushroom and my wife had the spare ribs both dishes were great and we will be back again before we leave.

Excelente restaurante, buena comida y un trato muy agradable, el local muy limpio y amplio, más que recomendado, si queréis pasar una buena noche y comer bien este es vuestro sitio.

We ate here towards the end of our holiday and it had been recommended by Ester from the Idyll suites First of all we enjoyed the view on the walk up to the Monsenor. We were warmly welcomed and given our table. As a vegetarian the only choice on the menu was a pizza, and as I had pizza before on this holiday I was not rushing to order it again. The fantastic waitress was quick to offer me some choices that were not on the menu,which included making something with Tofu. As it was a warm evening I chose a suggested cheese salad and garlic bread, my husband a meat eater chose the spaghetti bolognese. Both meals were excellent and if we had stayed longer in Playa del Cura we would have returned for another meal There are some dishes on the menu that need to be pre-ordered, so I do suggest looking at the menu before eating here, and like me if you are veggie I am sure they will produce a brilliant meal for you. Well worth a visit with great knowledgeable staff and chefs

We have pleasant evening at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The menu contains oriental dishes, grilled meats and pizza - which is on one hand very extensive, on the other hand they cannot be really outstanding in neither.

Essen war sehr lecker, guter Durchschnitt, wir haben zweimal dort gegessen. Freundlicher Service und normale Preise. Beim Ambiente ist noch Luft nach oben. Eine gute Alternative zu den Lokalen im unmittelbaren Bereich des Einkaufszentrums.

Typisk strand restaurant med enkle retter. Utvalget var ok for en lunsj. Litt lite oppfølging fra kelnerne om man trengte mer mat, drikke eller dessert selvom det ikke var mange gjester.
