genuinely the best thai food i’ve had! it was so flavorful and fulfilling! extremely friendly staff as well :) i’d def recommend the tom yum soup & tom kha gai on a rainy day 😋😋😋
Definitely the best Thai food for miles! Wonderful family service, very personable. Portion sizes will surely give you your money’s worth. I got the beef Massaman and Tom Yum Soup. 😌🤌
I heard about a new Thai restaurant opening in our neighborhood and was excited to try it last night. The restaurant is located in a small unassuming strip mall right next to a Robeks juice. The restaurant is set up with 3 large screens with menu options at the entrance, you order at the counter, and they bring the food to our table. We ordered a variety of dishes: - Guay Thiao Ruer (boat noodles): this was the first dish to come out. My kids totally crushed it. The flavorful soup with the thin rice noodles, braised beef, beef ball, and finely chopped baby Chinese broccoli were delicious. - Tom Yum Goong Nan Khon (Tom yum soup w/ shrimp): was also a hit! Super flavorful with fresh shrimp, tomatoes, and brown beech mushrooms. The broth came out piping hot. - Massaman Nuer (Massaman curry w/ beef): good chucks of beef in a thick curry sauce. - Khai Ga-Pow Kai-Sub-Kai-Dow (spicy ground chicken basil): we always get this dish because my husband loves it. This version was pretty good with chopped up green beans and red pepper, not too spicy. Overall the food was great and came out fast. The restaurant was clean and service was good. The atmosphere is more casual, we will definitely be back to try other items or order takeout from here.
A really nice casual yet high quality restaurant that has very unique Thai food. The interior is very clean and aesthetic and you order at the kiosk. Usually at a Thai restaurant I always see things like Pad Thai or Pad See Ew but here they do not have that and have lots of other interesting and delicious dishes. The portions were quite big and overall very good value.
There’s a new family owned Thai eatery and it’s located in Monrovia in the SGV (San Gabriel Valley). “Kin Khao” translates to an invitation to connect, share and grow closer through food Their menu of unique, authentic and vibrant dishes are made with love and tradition, and all meant to be shared and enjoyed family-style. ✨Expect to be blown away both visually and through your taste buds by dishes that you won’t see at your typical Thai restaurant✨ Kin Khao is participating in Dine Thai LA coming up from March 21-28🇹🇭 This is the perfect time for you to come check out their dining experience. There will be 4 Set Menus (1 vegan option) at only $27🔥 We had: 🧋Thai Iced Tea, Gai Manow, Plah Goong, Mee Gati, Khao Klook Ga-Pi, Khao Mun Gai Tod
Finding a restaurant that ticks all the boxes can sometimes feel like a treasure hunt. But when you stumble upon a place that offers delicious food, top-notch service, and a reasonable price, all within a clean and welcoming environment, it feels like hitting the jackpot. That's exactly the experience one customer had at a local establishment, and it's one we're eager to share. This wasn't just a quick bite, it was an experience that left a lasting impression. The reviewer highlighted the "good food with excellent service with a reasonable price" as a standout feature, immediately signaling that this is a place that values its customers and the quality of its offerings. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also noted, adding another layer of comfort and confidence. But let's talk about the real star of the show - the food. One dish, in particular, stood out: the Stew Pork Leg over Rice. Described as "delicious," it's clear this is a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant. But it didn't stop there. The secret weapon, according to the reviewer, is the Thai chili fish sauce. This isn't just an ordinary condiment; it's a game-changer that elevates the experience to another level. In fact, it's so good that the reviewer declares it a "must-have" from this specific restaurant. This isn't just about one dish, however. The overall takeaway is that this restaurant is committed to using quality food and ingredients across their menu. This attention to detail is what sets them apart and makes their dining experience truly memorable.
Highly recommended...Very good foods Big portion...for your money Kapow dish very delicious. Staffs very cool...The owner very generous...Nice easy parking Gonna come back for more...
New Thai place in the neighborhood. Not a huge selection, but the ones we tried were very nicely made. I am glad to see new restaurant come to fill in the vacant space. Please come and support the local establishment.
The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. The food is amazing. I wish I wasn’t on a diet.
the food was really good and the people were really kind! Would come again!

the food was really good and the people were really kind! Would come again!
This restaurant serves a lot of dishes I had never even heard of! I tried the Khao klook ga-pi (fermented shrimp rice bowl) - definitely took a chance there but it was absolutely delicious! The servers were helpful with suggestions on how to eat the food and answering questions about the menu. Definitely would love to try more of their menu!
Non-traditional Thai eatery. The best part about Kin Khao was that it forced us to reexamine our relationship to known Thai dishes. There was no Pad Thai or Pad See Eew in sight. The only familiar dish was a green curry (which we ordered) and even that came with the largest bamboo shoots you’ve ever seen. We got the ground chicken “signature dish” recommended by the server and a shrimp salad (substituted crispy tofu) which was my favorite. Dishes were delicious, unique and flavorful. The food was served quickly and portions were just right. Space was clean and the patrons looked happy to be there. Highly recommend this new restaurant!
Restaurant located inside a plaza with plenty of free parking. I went for lunch with my colleagues and it was a very pleasant atmosphere - greeted as we entered, luckily there were tables available so we didn't have to wait. We tried a few appetizers along with our main lunch dishes, they were delicious!! Very clean tasting and amazing flavors. Highly recommend and we'll definitely come back!
I will have to share photos next time, it was too good that the whole family finished it and forgot to take photos! Good food! Very authentic! Real Thai food! Definitely coming back again! We ordered for To-go, the front desk was so nice and friendly and gave some great recommendations! Highly recommended! We ordered A2, A7, C2 and R1! All four are very delicious!
I am in town installing a mural at the new Satoru Tsuneishi Park, and I discovered this amazing restaurant across the street and I have been eating dinner there every single night! As someone who eats Thai regularly, this is hands down the best Thai food I have ever experienced. My favorite is the Salmon Pineapple Curry, so flavorful and clearly a recipe with a lot of love and history behind it. After meeting the owners and the family, I see the passion they have for their food, and it comes through in the flavors. Each dish not only fills your belly but it warms your soul. The recipes and food are made with love. Makes me wish I lived here instead of just visiting ❤️

This place was amazing! First time here, great service and amazing food! So glad I stopped by. We had a large group and they helped us perfectly. Would definitely recommend coming here. One of the best pad Thai's I've ever had!!!

The food is incredible and the service was fantastic. Such kind and attentive staff! We had Khao Ga-Pow 19, green curry 23, chicken stew 18, beef curry 24, and satay chicken #7. The food was so flavorful, exactly the right amount of spice, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere is casual cool, lively, and has great lighting. Will return for sure!!
Food here is pretty good, esp since it's in Monrovia. The service is friendly but there's a tendency to not look my way. The parking is okay, as the place share a lot with at least 4 other eateries, sometimes it's kinda hard to find a spot. The atmosphere is just okay, a tad too crowded and too loud. It's not for a date night but pretty decent for a simple dinner out.
First visit here...The ground chicken and fried egg dish was amazing. My husband asked for Thai hot, and this was the first time a Thai restaurant made it perfectly spicy where he didn't have to add chili flakes. I ordered the chicken pas Thai, but kept getting a taste of shrimp. I finally noticed that they add mini dried shrimp to the dish so if you don't like shrimp, be sure to mention it. They flavor of the pad Thai was ok, not my favorite, but I've also had worse. My husband said he's eating here again I would too, but I'd try the pad see eew next time.
I came here for lunch the other day. Restaurant is located in the same center as Cane's, with plenty of free parking. It's a smaller restaurant, order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The nice lady taking our order was very sweet and helpful. The food names are not your traditional Thai food restaurant names. So refer to photos or read descriptions. The flavor is not like traditional Thai restaurants. It might be from a different region, because the flavors were different. I ordered the Thai Boat noodle. It was ok, noodles were thin vermicelli noodles and was a bit bland and beef was chewy. Ground pork with rice was delicious. Medium spicy was a perfect spice level. Also ordered the shrimp appetizer. 4 medium shrimps grilled with shell on served on a sweet, savory, tangy, orange colored sauce. We are everything but not sure if we will go back. Food and service was great, but we prefer traditional Thai restaurants.
Was definitely disappointed by the boat noodle. Not close to authentic boat noodles, taste was too light and noodles were too thin. Other things seemed overall decent.

The establishment was nice looking and very clean. It’s a great place if you want fast Thai food without having to wait for the bill to come because you pay before you sit down. The food was ok.
