Pola's Mariscos

This is my favorite fish/shrimp taco, ceviche and menudo place in So. Cal. For years now it’s been one of may favorite restaurants in this area.

We ordered the fish ceviche and cocktail de pulpo (octopus). The fish is and octopus is perfection because it's fresh. Each bite can be explained as such cucumbers crunchy, avocado flavorful, red onions good Lord sublime, hints of cilantro all teased with fresh octopus. In my opinion to make it sheer perfection I would add a bit of more octopus. Oh don't get me started with the ceviche add some lime and mayo it's a seafood love affair.

I found this Gem on DoorDash and decided to take the 6 mile drive to try it in person and I’m so happy that I did. The restaurant is clean. The service is A+. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and plenty of parking. I had the shrimp cocktail which had a generous amount of shrimp. The Tostada mixta shrimp/fish was very delicious. One of my most favorite part was the option of salsas to compliment your food. From mild to spicy but my favorite was the salsa mixta of chile tepin with lime!!!!! I had to buy extra to take home. I’m not a fan of octopus but the cashier asked me to try it. It’s cut in thin slices that make it so enjoyable to eat. Definitely would recommend this place and I’m definitely coming back 10/10

The food, was so delicious, the portions also are great. The shrimp tostadas and aguachiles with the salsa on the side they have, omg soooo good. The shrimp tacos. The staff is so friendly. Highly recommend. So happy we found this place.

First of all this is a top spot to get mariscos no matter where you came from, from a random review find on my day off, this will be our family place from now on, I showed the staff a "custom item" not in the menu and they happily said yeah we can build that (see attached custom molcajete de mariscos special), so extra charge for massive oysters, it was a blast your taste average spent with 2 beers and one Michelada $50-$70, enough for 2 people, plenty of parking is a mini mall with other nice stores to shop by, atmosphere is perfect with clean tables and prices well advertised, and staff was beyond friendly!!! Thanks for the great service guys.

The seafood is fresh, the micheladas are delicious. The service was awesome. Very informative and gave us a choice to adjust the level of spiciness for the Aguachiles.

This is my new mariscos spot! From the times I’ve been here my order comes in a timely manner, my seafood is so fresh, and it’s never over salted. I also think this is one of the more affordable mariscos spots! Cant wait to come back!

Empepinados..They are great. The food here is good from the items I have ordered. I haven't been disappointed yet. It's a small chill spot. The employees are very kind and attentive. The services overall is great! I love this place!

I’ve been to this place since they opened. Their Mariscos are SUPERB! Enjoyed some fried shrimp tortilla rolls (La Piñata) with Jaiba ceviche and a Pola’s Mix ceviche on 3/17. The molcajete especial is also a delicious choice. A place you definitely need to bring your appetite to. Fresh and tasty 🤤

Went to try this place out,ordered a menudo and let me tell you the menudo is DELICIOUS. Saw that they have mariscos so decided to go back in the afternoon and no DISAPPOINTMENT what so ever. I'm not a big seafood fan and I ate it all. Had the Polas Basket comes with shrimp ceviche chips and 6 piece breaded shrimp...Also tried their taco- chino its fired masa tortilla with fish rolled into a taquito with cabbage and onion on the side ...Try it you'll keep coming back to this place...

So I was looking for something tasty in the area and decided to give this place a try, interesting enough I went for the seafood but ended up ordering the Menudo since she said it had pata and I was not disappointed as it was pretty flavorful and it didn't taste like knorr chicken bouillon like a lot of other places they overdo it but this was perfect!!..my co-worker had the ceviche tostada and we both cleaned up our plate!...😋

My wife and I stopped in here for dinner and had a great experience. The customer service was great, and the food was excellent. They had a lot of customers, some take out and dine in. I recommend this place, it's definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

Delicious tostadas mixtas. I accidentally ordered 2 vs 1. They were so good I ate them both. And they were playing videos of Rigo Tovar throughout time. Definitely took me back to growing up with a father who was the singer song writer organ player and also producer of El Grupo Solar. I didnt get to take pictures. And they didnt have aguas frescas. So Im definitely coming back for more of all the above. Restroom clean, restaurant and tables clean. Atmosphere great!

Ordered shrimp tacos and ceviche. Ceviche was good. Not a fan of the shrimp tacos. The tortillas are flimsy, and the breading on the shrimp fell apart right away, lacked flavor. I eat shrimp tacos once or twice a week as a Pescatarian. This was my first time at Pola's.

It’s not bad if you like Tapatio on everything. Just had fish and shrimp ceviches they make it with tapatio on it. I don’t like hot sauce

I asked for ketchup and added to it but I still didn't like it. My dad got the molcajete and couldnt taste any flavor in it. Both me and my parents didnt enjoy the food. Whoever reads this you can come and try the food if you don't believe my words. But if you do? Don't come to here and try the food. Waste of time and money if your tastebuds don't like it like mine did.

Agua de limon con pepino tasted good.
