Pacific Bowls & Rolls

We had the intention of going to another place a few doors down, but decided to try this place on a whim as we were walking by. It was a bit pricey but the food was great! Everything was fresh and delicious! I have a shellfish allergy and they were so sweet and accommodating. I felt so comfortable that I ordered a sushi roll (one thing I miss dearly from prior to my sudden allergy)! I ordered the spicy tuna roll, which they made it on a fresh surface to avoid any cross contamination. As you can imagine, I was super excited to enjoy this roll, and there was no disappointment whatsoever!! My kids each got a bowl that they customized to their liking, and they loved it as well! We will definitely be back to enjoy more! Just a quick side note for you vegetarians or vegans out there, they have options on the menu for you too! My teen is vegetarian and ordered this ginger mushroom bowl -- it was bomb! I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day! ;)

Great little spot. Can get busy or be a super quick grab if you order pick up over the phone. Ingredients taste fresh. Highly recommend the PBR Roll! (And a flavored ramune). They have really great/sturdy packaging for to go sushi rolls.

I was craving fish & fibre and thought, since we're in the Bay Area, why not try some poke bowls? After a quick search in Monterey, I found a spot nearby that had good reviews for its quick service, so I decided to check it out. 😀 I visited around 6:00 p.m., and the restaurant was conveniently located near my accommodation. As soon as I stepped in, a server greeted me right away. He was a young man with cool glasses, not very talkative but helpful. Since it was my first time there, he explained how the ordering process worked. I opted for the regular 'build-your-own' bowl, which included two proteins for $16—a great value, in my opinion. You can choose two types of fish and any toppings you like, so I decided to try a bit of everything. There were also three sauces to choose, and I asked the server to recommend his favourite. The sauces he chose were delicious. The bowl itself was surprisingly large, with generous portions of toppings and crunchy add-ons. It felt quite heavy—in a good way. I took my order to go and, when I finally got to eat it at the hotel, I was impressed by the size of the fish chunks. Both the salmon and tuna were soft, buttery, and practically melted in my mouth. 🐟 If I were to order again, I would probably go lighter on the sauces, using just a drizzle to better taste the individual ingredients. I’d also reduce the amount of crunchy toppings, like fried shallots, as the combination of sauces and generous fried shallots tended to overpower the flavours of the poke bowl. However, this is just my personal preference. Overall, everything I tried was really good.

This place is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Monterey! Everything about the food was fresh, flavorful and simply exquisite. It’s a cute & cozy place by the beach (5 min walk) with lots of natural sunlight. Highly recommended this place on your upcoming trip! Prices were decent. p.s you order food from the Kiosk walking in! 😊

Plenty to choose from. The choices of sandwiches was a pleasant surprise as I didn't think I'd find that when stopping in with a family member who wanted a bowl. Easy kiosk ordering. Service was fast and friendly.

Enjoyed some delicious poke from Pacific Bowls and Rolls during our visit to Monterey. Variety of fish, toppings, and more. I love how they have the Aloha Hawaiian drinks as well. Definitely worth the visit- would love to come again and make our own sushi rolls! :)

This is the best poke bowl i ever have. First, you get to choose on the selection on a big screen - totally personalized, above all is the taste! Man, i can eat this all day.

Loved the ability to select the ingredients I wanted in my poke bowl. Yum! Lots of options and glad it was all sustainable fish! I appreciated the team answering all of my questions. One person from our party leaned he is not a fan of raw fish and would order the chicken and avoid wasabi in the future (the rest of us finished his bowl with delight.) Options to eat in or out.

Thursday is sushi rolls special! You get three small rolls for $10! I picked up the avocado, salmon and spicy tuna and they were all so tasty! I highly recommend! The seating is bench style so just be aware of that.

This place deserves five stars and more for the quality, flavor, and incredible customization options. I tried the Musubi and was blown away, but the highlight was definitely the Build-Your-Own Bowl. The ability to completely customize everything is awesome. It's truly a next-level experience being able to pick exactly what you want, right down to how many scoops of spicy tuna or salmon you want to add. It makes the meal feel perfectly tailored. If you aren't feeling creative, they also have excellent prebuilt bowls to choose from. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful. A perfect spot for fresh poké and sushi rolls. Highly recommend

This is a grab & Go Poke Bowl spot. They do it chipotle style where you walk through and they add what you like to the bowl and ring you up, very fast and efficient. Dining in here isn't the best but if you are walking down to the ocean or just wanting something quick and fresh this is a great spot.

One bowl was missing a protein which was charged extra for, the other was missing a protein ($), avocado ($) and SAUCE. No sauce at all. Very frustrating. What we did have tasted fresh but it was hard to enjoy my bowl with no sauce. Disappointed.

Bowl was good but the protein is too little. Only 4 pieces of shrimp for bowl worth $14. Not worth for price. Better to opt for chipotle or something.

On the pricey side but across the street from the beach which is awesome. Food is okay to good. Nothing super special but we enjoyed the beach while eating our bowls. The store entrance and sharing situation is really weird

This place used to be good when it was on alverado. Now you order on a kiosk the tuna and salmon is full of fat and was in giant pieces. Also I paid for avocado and didn’t get any, the bowls were filled up maybe halfway. $45 for two below average and skimpy bowls is crazy.
