Pelican Pizza

The pizza was delicious, we had the Combo (specialty) and it was so good. Lots of toppings and the crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also got a Caesar salad. There were only two tables inaide but we also went later in the evening so I don't know if there is more seating available during the day.

The pizzas were excellent! The prices are more than reasonable! The atmosphere is warm, simple, and unpretentious—exactly what we were looking for. The staff are extremely helpful. My small family and I came to Monterey to visit the aquarium, and we ended up eating at Pelican Pizza two nights in a row. We’ll be back here for sure ❤️

i been coming to pelican since alternative medicine was open back in the early 2010s...it was my jam everyday i gained 33 pounds easily as I enjoyed the local offerings. the wings mild are my favorite. 14 piece with a large chicken bacon salad, and if im greedy chocolate cake. The pitzas are table soft the sauce is classic its never a tough bite at all. its always clean and you can definitely get a table and enjoy sports events. great sized tv. love it and will continue to.

Delicious handmade pizza, staff was friendly and atmosphere was calm. Great economic spot to just chill and chat with friends while enjoying great food and wine. Owner was kind enough to offer to shut the blinds so our dining was more enjoyable.

The cheese and sauce ratio was spot on, creating a harmonious and incredibly satisfying bite every time. Beyond the amazing taste, the value here is outstanding. It's very well priced, offering a truly great bang for your buck. I will absolutely go here available and will be recommending it to everyoneI know. You simply have to try this pizza– you won't be disappointed!

Wandered into this place based on high reviews. Business looks a bit slow, but honestly it’s better pizza than Gianni’s and the service is better, not to mention the price being much more reasonable.

Really fresh pizza, thin crust, delicious cheese and light sauce/ not overbearing . Great value especially for the location! Only drawback was that the indoor dining area was small. We will definitely be coming back.

First time trying the pizza from Pelican Pizza and we were impressed. We just ordered a simple cheese pizza but it was cooked to our liking with just the right amount of cheese and their dough / crust was really soft and tasty! They had our pizza ready for us 10 minutes too! When I arrived to pick up the pizza I was also impressed with their friendly staff and their sign on the front stating that they offered free home delivery. The only downside was the 75 cent charge per ranch they hit me with. But all and all it was solid experience for a local pizza joint

We just ordered a simple cheese pizza but it was cooked to our liking with just the right amount of cheese and their dough / crust was really soft and tasty! They had our pizza ready for us 10 minutes too! When I arrived to pick up the pizza I was also impressed with their friendly staff and their sign on the front stating that they offered free home delivery. Good solid pizza in Monterey and in a good location. The wings are barbecue based which is unfortunate but the owner did let us know before we had ordered which is great service on his part. Would recommend!

This is the best pizza for the best price. Done from scratch the sauce is missing a ingredient and they cook it perfect so the sauce is what's the bummer but for the price it's good. Service was great

Got a one topping large pepperoni pizza, it was good but a little bit pricey for what they promoted, got charged 19.50 when they have a chalkboard saying 13.95. Their was only one gentleman working up front, dude was a champ at making 7 pizzas by himself. Waited about 25 minutes but it was understandable. Over all the pizza was thin and satisfying.

Pretty average pizza at best. Wings "hot" was some spicy BBQ hot sauce mix. Pretty bad. Exceptionally high prices. Won't be back.
