As soon as i picked up my breakfast sandwich the bottom biscuit started to crumble. the sandwich was supposed to come with gravy but it didn’t. I had to ask for my own gravy and on top of that it took a while to get it by the time she gave it to me i was almost done eating. The floor was dirty around and under our table when we got there the workers were cleaning our table but it was orange pieces of something on the floor.

Had pancakes and crepes. All good. Smoked sausage was good, bacon not crispy enoungh for me. Mint chocolate shake was very good. Server was good, but busy and a little slow.

The service was great and the food was excellent. The best big steak omelet I have had in years. I wish the IHOP’s back home cooked like this.

My family has been divided on the IHOP versus Waffle House debate for almost 20 years. Not being born or raised in the the South, my family preferred IHOP but when you move to Alabama, Waffle House is King. I made my family go to IHOP purely for nostalgic reasons, I love the rooty tooty fresh and fruity but the service in the Montgomery restaurant was so bad we stopped going for many years. So when my kids asked if they could go back recently we thought why not give it a try... We were pleasantly surprised that it had a good health rating, plenty of staff and although they changed the menu and got rid of the rooty tootie fresh and fruity, but the food was still enjoyable. The service was a little slow and we had to ask to have our drinks refilled but the place was busy so we were patient. All in all we will be back.

There was a 10-15 minute wait when we got there, but this was due to them being short staffed, so that was understandable. Our waiter (Alex) was very polite (same for the staff) and it didn't take long for our food to get to us. As you can see from the photos, the food was good!

This location is currently undergoing construction from what looks like a car driving into the building but we will gloss over that for the purpose of this review. The food is good at IHOP and the service is pretty good. The area they are lacking in is the portions of protein. Tiny sausages and thin little bacon. That is made up for by endless pancakes and blueberry syrup though. Most recently took my little girl for a daddy daughter date and we both cleaned our plates.

I ordered Veggie Omlet i will add photo. Waited over 1 hr for our food. The. Wanted another 15 min or more for fresh avocado never came. I ate the fruit and had the omelet removed from my ticket. We have been going to Waffle House when we go shopping in Troy or Montgomery so we decided to try and compare IHOP to Waffle House. Food is about the same; service was fine. Check was $35 compared to $20 from Waffle House. Menu selection is better but not worth the difference.

The most terrible experience of service and hospitality I've had in a long time. I walked into the establishment after placing a to go order online and waited at the front counter for about 20 minutes with no one asking have I been helped or did I need to place an order. There was only one table with 4 people in the restaurant at the time and even that table was complaining about the service. There seemed to be only two women servicing the establishment at this time. One of the women was walking around wih6a damn bonnet on her head with tights on and walking around acting as though no customers existed. The other woman who was the one whom ultimately helped me and was taking care of that seated table was very unwelcoming and nonhospitable. I see now why this place has become a wasteland. I am shocked this place is still open. I won't be going back to this establishment!!!!

Service was terrible. We saw our waitress once and she didn’t even speak to us, she came stood at the table and waited for us to speak and walked away distracted more than 5 times. We also waited forever for our check.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Come to IHOP all the time I’m picking up a DoorDash order. You’re always sitting here for over 30 minutes for one order. They are slow. It is absolutely insane. Ridiculous. There’s no reason it should take any restaurant over 30 minutes for one DoorDash order. When you ask why they say they’re waiting on this or that. It’s ridiculous

The scrambled eggs were raw on 2 different plates, the cinn-a-stack pancakes were sour, over cooked bacon and cold hashbrowns as well. Tried telling the waiter who quickly walked off and said sorry. No trying to fix the problem, no redoing them just walked off. Worst customer service we have seen in a long time.

My family and I have visited and dined at this location several times. We especially spend our family hoildays here. Quality and safety at this restaurant have declined. As we are dining we overheard several staff referring to us as " white crackers" who were not welcome. Out family is mixed. NOT SAFE DINE HERE. Frequent at your own risk

We have been here many times and the service is never consistent. The last time we went, the hostess sat us at a station where no one was working. We sat for 30 minutes before we asked about coffee. The waitress told us that it wasn't her station and in fact the person covering it went home. We have never enjoyed it they never clean the windows that separate the dining room. It's dirty. I was glad they closed, they were rude and messed up

Disgusted. While traveling thru Alabama, I decided to call and place an order of short stacks for pickup. When I arrived 15 minutes later, the waitress never placed the order and they asked me to wait 10min while they make the order. I did not. The waitress was very unprofessional and the atmosphere looked dirty. I’m actually glad I didn’t eat from there. Terrible service.

I Hop in Montgomery Alabama!!!!!!I got a hair in my food the waiter didn’t even know what was going on.she didn’t even acknowledge us. She was so close to the table and her clothes were dirty. She acted so turned off and half sleep. She straight up said “ what u want”. She put the plates down so effortlessly in a bad way that the food fell when she put the plate down on the table.
