Best paella I’ve ver had!!! Everything was super good and fresh. The boquerones and chopitos were divine. You can’t forget about the bread with the Ali oili and the tomate. The paella was super tasty and had really good seafood mixed into it. The seafood was so soft and tender. The calamari in it was also soft and tasty. We paired all this with a fantastic rioja that was medium full body with a nice dry finish to it. After, we shared the torrija and a crema catalana to end the lunch. Make reservations ahead of time.

A lunch on a September Sunday with the sun shining and the sea glistening what more could an expat desire. Found us a table but should booked ahead to get a full view table. But the service was lovely and the food superb, a great experience and one that we shall return to.

That is a worth mentioning, beautiful spot in Moraira. Placed right next to the beaches, close to local fitness club, which makes it very practical to visit also after workout or sun bathing. Though must admit mostly we were there in the evening, for the beautiful sunset views and of course the food. In my opinion best fish dishes I Moraira. No matter if in form of a fresh carpacio or cooked, it’s always fresh and very tasty! Friendly service, but some what in a hurry every time. So, if you really like to spend long evening there, make sure to eat slow, otherwise next dish will be brought right after you chewed the last bite :) Understandable they want to sell as much tables as possible per night, but still I want to enjoy my dinner with no stress. However, 5 stars because quality is good and worth stopping by. Recommend!

One of our favourite restaurants in this area. We normally book a table (you usually don't get a table inside unless you book) but dropped in on the off chance. Luckily, we arrived early for lunch and managed to get a table by the window - as long as we were done by 14:00. Perfect. The staff are always very friendly and very professional. The food is always exceptional. Garlic Prawns and Seafood Pate for Starters Mixed Meat and Fish Paella for Mains – delicious! €75 with drinks – sounds expensive but is always excellent food, service and the location is hard to beat! Highly recommended

El Chamizo is a fantastic seafront resturant conveniently located on the outskirts of Moraira with a free public car park within 100 yards walk. The menus is excellent, the service personal and highly attentive with a smart but relaxed atmosphere. The food comes as good sized portions, freshly cooked and imaginative. The value for money is great and the view from the outside seating area is super! Well worth a visit!

First line sea experience with a touch of another experience. To put it very simple, food was very good (the chicken breast with the mushrooms and cognac sauce), the staff was very friendly and service very good. The toilets were clean and the bill too…. Price / quality still very good. Conclusion is the same as the title. Food with a sea view, included in the price. Another one to visit again.

Lugar en zona privilegiada con bonitas vistas al mar. Las almejas en salsa de champagne muy ricas, algo escasa la ración y encima 2 vacías. El arroz muy bueno.Un poco ruidoso en la Zona de dentro.

El lugar tiene unas vistas muy bonitas a la Cala y varias zonas con mesas, todas ellas con sombra. La comida estaba muy buena pero las raciones para 4 personas las vimos justas. Los platos principales sí que eran buena ración y estaban riquísimos! Recomendamos la torrija de postre.

Comida tranquila a pie de Les Platgetes. Llamamos para reservar y justo tenían mesa exterior, al querer arroz tuvimos que dejar cuál queríamos tomar, ya que son por encargo. Nos gustó mucho los chopitos, por ponerles un pero estaban algo salados pero eso ya es gusto personal, el arroz en su punto. Recomendable si te encuentras en Moraira o alrededores.

Sitio recomendable. La paella muy buena, la ración va justa para cada comensal, lo típico que pides para dos y comes tres… aquí no. Reservar antes de ir. Los camareros muy secos, pero se compensa con la comida que está buena. Calidad precio bueno.

La comida estaba bastante buena pero los platos eran un poco escuetos si hablamos de cantidad-precio, aunque es lo que cabe esperar en un restaurante a primera linea, el mejor plato en ese aspecto era la fritura, en cuanto a sabor las almejas con la salsa de champagne.

Preciosa vista frente al mar , tranquilo con comedor interior y terraza para días soleados. Buena calidad de la comida pero con fallos que por desgracia se producen en mas de un restaurante. Por ejemplo traerte el vino servido en la copa, botella de agua mineral desprecintada , a estas altura parece mentira que siga ocurriendo. El precio del pan con alioli comienza a ser un problema en esta comunidad al cobrar unos precios sin sentido alguno. Una tarrina pequeña y una barrita de pan mas de 2 € por persona.

Fuimos a comer a principios de enero y nos atendieron genial desde el proceso de reserva hasta el servicio en mesa. Pedimos tellinas y pan con tomate y ajoaceite como entrante y muy acertadas ambas opciones. Con el plato principal tuvimos un ligero contratiempo que fue subsanado muy profesionalmente y degustamos una deliciosa fideuá de marisco con un sabor y una textura increíbles. De las mejores fideuás que hemos probado. Muchas gracias por todo a todo el equipo!!!

Lunch reservation for 4. Three of us had the duck. Mine was tough and tasteless. My wife enjoyed hers. The 4th meal was vegetarian and that was tasty. Service was attentive, prompt and friendly. Atmosphere and setting, awesome. Overall, a pleasant lunch, albeit a little pricey which was offset by great setting.

If it's not windy ask for a table to the front of the restaurant for great sea views, but if it's windy you may want to be indoors or in the rear courtyard. Food was very good. Two of us had the mixed paella, very tasty but be warned it is a traditional paella so the meat is in the bones to give flavour. All dishes came with fresh vegetables. Service was very friendly.

El Chamizo is a fantastic spot for dinner with its stunning oceanfront location, perfect for a relaxing meal. The staff were attentive and made our experience enjoyable. I loved the fried anchovies, crisp and flavorful! Most of our table enjoyed the dishes, though two weren’t as keen on theirs. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stop for food with a great vibe. I’d happily return.

We visit every year. Views are lovely, food was good as was service. We didn’t have starters or bread - just straight into the mains Monkfish and clams in a sauce, cod in a sauce, burger, pesto…

Excelentes vistas, la comida rica, el servicio atente. Conviene reservar con tiempo. Si hace frío o presión de lluvia reservar dentro.

La paella espectacular y la comida de calidad, pero es muy difícil que te cojan el teléfono para hacer una reserva, tuve que insistir varias veces durante dos días y tras haber reservado con antelación una mesa, nos colocaron en la terraza interior que no tiene vistas al mar y que hace muchísimo calor por las lonas que tienen puestas. Me hubiera encantado el restaurante y la experiencia si no hubiera sido por estos dos grandes detalles. Había parking pero estaba hasta arriba y no pudimos aparcar, alrededor difícil aparcamiento.

☹️☹️ Restaurante El Chamizo – Moraira ⭐⭐☆☆☆ El Chamizo está en un enclave espectacular: vistas preciosas al mar Mediterráneo, en primera línea, con una decoración cuidada y muy mediterránea. Un lugar que, de entrada, promete mucho. Pero las expectativas altas juegan en contra… y aquí no se cumplieron. La comida no nos gustó nada. Los entrantes eran pequeños. El primero, un plato de habas, era mondo y lirondo, con menos gracia que si me lo preparo en casa y con un dedo de grasa en el fondo. Los calamares, con un rebozado tan grueso que al principio parecía una tempura crujiente… pero no: era una masa blanda y pesada que nos decepcionó. No pedimos arroz porque ya nos habían comentado que no era su punto fuerte, así que optamos por pescado. Dos lubinas, pequeñas y sin sabor, con una guarnición escasa de verduras… que además tenían un sabor raro. Para terminar, sin muchas esperanzas de remontar la comida, pedimos una tarta catalana. Eso sí, hay que decir que estaba buena. 👌🏻 El servicio, correcto y servicial. Otra cosa no, pero camareros para servir había muchos. En definitiva: un sitio casi más para hacer fotos y tomar una cerveza que para disfrutar de una buena experiencia gastronómica.
