My wife and I dined at your restaurant last night before a Kansas concert, and we felt inspired by our experience. Coming from the Flint area, where we have three Applebee's locations, it was refreshing to find a place that truly excels in food quality, taste, and service. Everything was exceptional, and the management's commitment to excellence was admirable. We look forward to returning soon. Thank you for an uplifting dining experience!

My mom and I come here quite frequently. We love the 2 for $$ options, or we just share one giant appetizer. The food is always hot, and the staff are always friendly; open the door for you, offer to call you cabs when needed. It is a very popular place with the locals making it a bit noisy for my liking.

Great food as always! I usually go with the chicken wontons but this time I went for the bonless honey BBQ wings as an appetizer, which was a perfect yummy option! My fries were a bit salty, but edible, and green beans were a perfect choice "I love green beans anyway!" Staff are always friendly. There are peak and waiting times so pick your timing wisely.. I do highly recommends it!

Arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday place was packed got barely in at the bar. Ordered garlic parmesan boneless wings, a whiskey bacon burger and I had a blondie skillet for desert all came out pretty quickly!!! seeing as how they were packed both bartenders were kind and kept drinks refilled. The restaurant is easy to find on a main road in Mt. Pleasant. There is plenty of parking. I went here while on vacation in Michigan. I arrived near closing time, but I didn't realize that since I'm used to the one near my home that is open until very late. The young man who served me was a little distracted and got my drink order wrong, but quickly corrected it when I asked him about it. The food was very delicious the rest of the service was great. I didn't use the restroom, so no comment on that. Overall, it's a great restaurant where I'd feel comfortable bringing my friends and family.

Went about 6:30pm, they were super busy an we barely got in but was able to grab a couple seats at the bar. I had the bacon grilled chicken sandwich, was super messy but delicious. Also had the Shark bowl, tasted like a blue raspberry slushie, probably wont order again. The waiters at the bar were very nice and always made sure we were good. Our appetizer was the garlic chicken wings with ranch sauce on the side and was also super delicious.

The food was absolutely amazing! We got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they passed the cheese pull. We also got some Chicken Alfredo and it was delicious! It wasn’t too greasy or anything. Additionally, we got the Triple Chocolate Melt and that was really rich, but delicious as it comes with a piece of cake and icecream with hot fudge drizzled on the cake and icecream.

Our service was spectacular our servers name was Chelsea and she was an amazing server who always made sure our drinks were full and our table was laughing and having fun our food was perfect we got steaks, and salad and riblets and everything came out perfect. We started with onion rings that were absolutely perfect. Our server really made the night perfect by offering drinks with and without alcohol and customizing them to our needs she deserves a raise that girl she was bussing many tables and still managed to keep up with the service at our table perfectly and acomodate our needs perfectly. Chelsea if you're reading this you're a rockstar and an amazing friend and thank you for being such an amazing soul

We had a great experience at Applebee's Grill + Bar. We came in with a fairly large group and were told the wait would be around 10 minutes, which was impressive given the size of our party. We were seated right on time. Our server was friendly, attentive, and efficient. No one had to ask for a refill once. She stayed ahead of everything without being intrusive, which made the whole meal feel easy and relaxed. The food came out quickly and was exactly what you expect from Applebee’s. Hot, consistent, and good. Overall, it was just a smooth, pleasant experience from start to finish. We would absolutely return.

The food was great and so was the strawberry Pina colada I had. Service is usually great if you go during the day, have had issues with night staffing unless you sit at the bar. The atmosphere was nice, slightly chilly but I'm sure that's due to the workers being too hot.

(DoorDash Order) best Applebees I think I have ever had in my life!! The fiesta chicken was seasoned so well and tasted fantastic!! The chicken parm is wife approved and also delicious (I may or may not have snuck a bite while she grabbed the remote) spinach and artichoke dip was the best part and there was no bad chips in the entire thing which is a 10000/10 for me because there is usually always one bad chips in the app. 10/10 from me! Me, my boyfriend, his parents and his great aunt came into Applebees around 6ish, and our waiter was Aaron I believe. He went above and beyond for the table, and was super patient with the Karen of our group. (She means well). He was on top of everything, and very nice. Because of him and his exceptional service, I will be coming back more often! The only thing I didn’t like, was that it was my boyfriends moms birthday, and her cousin and they didn’t get sang to but the other 2 birthdays in the building did.

Our service was impeccable. The food was delicious. The prime dip was the best sandwich I've had in a very long time. The chicken alfredo was a tad dry and could have used more sauce. So I'd ask for extra. The cilantro rice was also very good. I also discovered I LOVE Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat Ale. 🍒 I'm definitely drinking that more. Three cheese Pene pasta was great as well.

Applebee's always come through when you need them! Food was amazing and service was good! My only complaint was that the floor was really dirty and the bathrooms were messy but all in all was a good diner I recommend the spicy honey mustard chicken sandwich!

Good food and service. Just an update. We stopped in on our way to shop and I tried their new quesadilla salad and it was wonderful. I had tried it at the Midland location and it was terrible not worth it but I thought I'd try it again. Very tasty and filling would recommend.

The ambience was comfortable and clean, though the background music felt a little dated (which is about what you’d expect here). The waitresses are very friendly. The seating is great. The atmosphere, the lighting the way they plate their food is all very nice. However, if you are a diabetic or other health issues, this is not the place for you. I think most of their food comes frozen, which means you can't really adjust seasonings or things like that. I wish that you could. I wanted to get the green beans and because they come frozen I can't adjust that. And for some reason a grilled chicken breast should not have 1700 mg of sodium in it. I suppose that is what happens when you go to eat out though. Otherwise, the taste is really good. If you're not looking at all those other aspects, the food is wonderful.

I was talked down to by the waitress. Thursday the special is steak and drink. We don't want the drink but get charged for it anyway. Can't get senior discount on it. I was disappointed with the food, so we ordered 2 steak dinners, one was to be medium and the other was to be medium/well, both steaks we well done. I won't send back any meat dinners because an animal had to die to feed us. So I ate the steaks but they were not very good. I've eaten at many Applebee's in my day and never had this happen before. A person in her position you'd think could be a little bit more sociable however, you never know what somebody is going through no matter what position they are at in their life. Our waitress was busy running around so I went and approached the manager. She looked at me like deer and the headlights I almost wanted to say. Do you know what honey mustard is? Then I realized there was a waitress standing right next to her and as she turned and looked at the waitress I felt like I shouldn't even be asking. I did not follow the chain of command again. This lady was starting to crack me up by now. I asked our waitress later if the manager was always this way and she kind of smirked and I said you don't need to answer the question anymore. I totally understand it. The waitress replied. We have been really really busy today. I said yes but at this rate I'm thinking I should be down here. Being your boss I would have a way better atmosphere to work in. Most of the staff didn't seem very happy, which is a direct reflection of the leadership. After waiting a hour to get seated, it then took a hour for our food. My chicken strips and unseasoned fries were over done and hard just like our appetizer mozzarella stick, my husbands omg cheeseburger and fries were cold. I could not believe the poor quality of the food .

We were freezing inside the restaurant. My husband got the Bourbon Street steak and said it was in his too 10 Worst steaks he has had. It used to be better. I had tortilla soup, which was delicious, and the OMG cheeseburger. It was good.

The food quality has gone downhill. The last few visits have not been very good. My sandwich had dark colored spots on the bread...it looked like mold although they assured me it was not. They did replace my meal but I had to take it to go, my entire family was done eating. The replacement was good. Our server was friendly but extremely slow. He got side tracked quickly. My daughter ordered a lemonade and we waited for an extremely long period if time. I saw it sitting on the bar waiting for our server to pick it up however he was very slow to do that.

We got seated right away and got our orders in right away. My husband's drink came about 15 minutes before mine. I ordered the 6 oz sirloin with shrimp and garlic Parmesan sauce, my husband got the Four cheese Mac and cheese with the chicken tenders. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out still mooing. I could barely cut it. My husband really liked his meal, however. We waited for refills on our drinks for probably 20 minutes. Another thing is that they had tennis and some foreign political thing on! Seriously?! There were football games going on, and they didn't have them on.

Came in at 2pm for a quick lunch and ended up being here for 2 hours. Our waiter just kept walking past us, forgot to put in part of our order and then when he did, put in the wrong order….asked our bill to be split brought it to us in one bill. Bruh was really struggling today and made it an unpleasant experience for us 🙄

Pretty disappointed in the food here more than anything. The French fries were inedible. The chips for the Spin Dip were greasy and stale. The chicken sandwich was dry and tasteless. There wonton tacos were absolutely smothered in cilantro and we're poorly constructed so they were hard to eat. The kids pizza was so sweet it tasted like cake. Overall we will not be going back. Which is unfortunate because I normally love Applebee's.

hello! the complaint i have is strictly the food, my car pick up waitress was amazing and i didn’t realize how dry my food was until i got home. it’s disappointing paying $16 for a pasta with barely any sauce, i didn’t want bruschetta so they got that right. however the noodles are extremely dry and lacking the cream sauce. it wasn’t worth my $16 but hopefully this can be figured out sometime soon! fyi, i did try to reheat it to see if it was due to it being cold, bu that wasn’t the case 💔

I had the worst experience tonight. 1 hr we waited for our sides , appetizers, and main course to come out all at once . Then both main courses were incorrect. They forgot half of the order with the meals . When I asked if they forgot about us the manager rudely replied you havent even let me introduce myself very cocky . We dine here often & normally have amazing food & Service! Today not so much!! My husband had to send his steak back as it was cooked "well done" & he asked for Medium Rare. Brought a different steak & he couldn't even cut it. The waitress was no better. What a experience, after dining at our local establishment dozens of times over the years, we will never be back. Tonight we experienced slow service, (we arrived @ 9:30 pm), were ignored several times by our waitress, and got to listen to staff and a manager tell appealing stories to the table next to us. They, loudly , talked of childbith details along with vomitting after nights of drinking. All seven people in our group couldn't finish our meals, especially my 10 year old daughter and her friend. Then on the way home my wife got horribly sick, assuming food poisoning, since she didnt eat anything else all evening. Sure was amazing to see the manager be a part of the problem, i assume the few other tables felt the same, as several kept watch of the situation. Lastly it took approximately 15 minutes for the waitress to come back for payment, which of course she had to deduct items from the check, since they were never brought out. This is their tip, hopefully they develop some hospitality skills. The waitress was young, and not totally at fault, i see how she was trained.

When I asked the manager what she say wrong, she replied the portions looked right ..? They weren't touched! Why because the service was awful. The manager swept the restaurant 3 times and avoided our table each time. And when we spoke to she said she had know clue there was a problem? Restaurant awareness! Come on. This location has been a dumpster fire since 2019. Get your stuff together. You are better than this. Oh yeah never going to MT pleasant location ever again

Never been so disappointed in an Applebees. We saw our server maybe 3 times. Waiting 20 mins for a drink he was supposed to be right back with. We had a burger and a chicken dish and watched 3 tables with bigger parties get sat and served and leave and we had THE SAME SERVER

NOT Allergy Friendly - I don’t typically write these but my experience was so terrible I had to let others know for the future. The waitress was fantastic and this is not against her. The manager was 100% the problem. I had given the waitress my allergy card and she went to speak with her manager so they could work with me on it. The manager came out with my allergy card and proceeded to yell at me and make a scene about my allergies for 10 minutes without letting me speak. Saying things such as “it is illegal for me to check the ingredients for you” and “we have the ingredients but we can’t check it”. The whole time she was yelling and making a scene while interrupting me and not allowing me to try and speak with her. The waitress even seemed to try to be calming the manager down. She treated me so poorly that she made my girlfriend cry. This Applebees location needs to rethink who they have representing their staff. To anyone with allergies, I would avoid this location as they are clearly unable to help you figure out what you can and cannot eat, but I have had success at other locations. Once again I want to stress that the waitress was fantastic, and the manager was 100% the problem.

Server was very passive aggressive with my date obviously didn’t wanna be there and there was something in my burger that almost cracked my tooth not eating here again

Very disappointed by this location and service. Showed up at 7:30pm as a party of 4, understandably the restaurant was busy on a Saturday night. However we put drinks and apps in and got our drinks and placed main order and asked that apps come out first and dinner later, to no problem from server, but then 60 minutes later we got our main dishes but served by different staff and still no apps. So when we asked kindly if we were going to see our apps and she said she'd look into it we were recieved with rude backlash from a horrible sever, who wasn't even our own, in a blue shirt walking past our table to then the manager talking to us like we were screaming and cursing, to which we weren't as we were just talking plainly and I even asked the people behind us who saw and heard everything because they were even floored by how we were treted and asked then if i was rude. I've worked in the restaurant and customer service business for over 10 years and I know that if something is wrong in the kitchen it can effect the whole restaurant. However, you still do your job and take care of your tables and this staff did not. My brother in law still left a nice tip for our server because we understand that she wasn't at fault, however, we barely ever saw her so we hope she enjoys the $20 tip.

Bartender Tori got my husband's drink right away but when it came to my drink order it was more important to clean the entire bar and do dishes also when she finally took the order food and drinks we sat there and watched everyone get Thier food before us I head to get the manager in order to find out what was going on We will never return

On 1/5/25, while waiting for a takeout order at this Applebee’s, I witnessed something highly unhygienic. A cook, still wearing their apron and gloves, was walking from a black Ford Fusion in the parking lot back into the restaurant. While doing so, they reached into their pants and scratched. This was extremely disturbing and raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and food safety standards at this location. On top of that, both of my burgers were very pink and inedible. When I reached out to the manager, they called it a ‘mistake’ and an ‘accident,’ but this is more than that. It’s a serious lack of hygiene and food safety. The incident and the poor food quality left me deeply unsettled. I will not be returning.

Worst food. It was cold, bartender never came over to check on us.. food too 50 min. Manager never asked to take any thing off the cold food. We NEVER go back.

The manager tonight left his employees high and dry there were multiple +5 tables and he straight up told the host to figure it out , was told the wait was 10 min waited almost 20 min and had people that came after us get seated before dont go if you see the partly bald 40 yr old man going through a mental breakdown from the service to the way he speaks to employees 100% disappointed

I was so disappointed in how we were treated here. We waited over 45 minutes for a burger and chicken. People around us got the same order as us and had their food. our server barely came to tell us why we were not receiving our food. When asked when our food will be up she said it would be soon. Ten minutes later I had to go up and cash out as there was still no food. As I stood at the counter I was not even told I’m sorry by anyone and two managers stood right by me for over 5 minutes waiting to cash out with no acknowledgment. I have never been so frustrated as well as upset in a very long time. I am not going back to this location., Mt Pleasant. The treatment and service was appalling.

So we ordered lots of food. Apps and entrees. But one meal was enough to be the straw that broke the camel's back. I ordered a 12 Oz ribeye with onions and mushrooms. Caesar salad and two sides. The sides were fine but the medium steak was very rare, so rare I'd say it was raw. There was unrendered fat and I had fruit flies in my salad. I will no longer choose Applebee's as an eatery.

Went there for Father's day. Got their special all you can eat riblets, chicken strips and breaded shrimp. The food was very small in portion and shrimp was not cooked all the way. Our fries were cold. The waitress was poor at her job never asked how the food was or if we were ready for more food. No I had to stop her and ask her for chicken strips for my husband. No Happy Father's day was said to any of the men I seen around me. Just very poor service and food. Which I was very upset about because this us the first time this place was horrible. Not only that I thought my husband and I could enjoy a nice meal for Father's day. Very very upsetting. Sorry too say no tip was given.

Food was fine and the server did well. I left without filling out my receipt because I was in a rush and the server typed in a 15$ dollar tip on a 35$ tab AFTER I LEFT 12$ cash for them. Didn’t realize 12$ on a 37$ ticket was a bad tip. Very disappointed leave a dude that brought out two waters and an entree and wants 27$ on a 35$ ticket. Just make sure you fill your receipt or they will happily do it for you.

Terrible service the server didn’t even bring out my food all the other workers did and couldn’t get a refill the whole time until a different worker noticed.

ordered on 11/24/25 didn’t get my shark bowl. called to get a refund & the manager acted like it was a big deal i wanted a refund & to not be put on a list to come get a free one . i never come here just wanted a easy dinner with a drink. still haven’t received the email for my refund im guessing it was too much work for the manager who didn’t want to do it in the first place . i’ve worked for apple bees i know a refund isnt that hard .

First of all out server was great. He did everything perfect. Our food however was not good at all. Chicken penne was cold, sauce was cold noodles were cold chicken was cold. I switched with my wife hoping she could enjoy the burger I got and I would endure cold pasta. Grilled cheese burger was a soggy cold sloppy mess. We paid our bill and left. Just like most of the food offered in Mt Pleasant it you wait a long time to get expensive food that you can't eat because it's so gross. There is no way the cooks didn't know they were sending garbage out the window. Do better.

I love Applebee's and the food. My last visit for carside was terrible. They sent my card off with another guest by mistake, I than had to wait 20 minutes for them to get a hold of the guest they gave my card to and by than my food was cold. The manager offered to remake my food but never apologized at all the whole time. I requested my card be refunded since I had to go home with cold food and warm it up. I didn't want to wait for more food at that point and wait longer. At the end of the situation the manager still bever apologized when he got my cars back and I picked it up until I ask that's it??? And he than apologized. Like really man. You didn't seem to care at all. Poorly trained staff. People in the kitchen yelling at each other while I was waiting and I could hear other guest complain. To top it off when I came in to see what the hold up I had to wait for the employee who handed my card to the wrong guest to get off the phone. He went inside and answer the phone and was taking an order.. lol like really 🤣 whole situation was awkward. The older man managing seem lost. Not sure if he is the General Manager but wow. People skills go along ways. Apologizing is not over rated we all make mistake. At least act like you care. Oh and please not so skimpy on the broccoli next time. Pic is what we got for a side. Just overall poor experience 😢

The host is always acts like it's a federal project to find a table. She looked at her chart, then she looks at the tables. She does this two or three times as if it's very complicated. They are never busy and she makes us sit and wait every time.

Worst establishment ever. The food is decent but the servers and managers are horrible. Talking about another workers weight and just making assumptions about the worker. Starting drama in front of guests. Even the MANAGERS are getting in on talking about another workers weight. I hope that worker gets a lawyer or even corporate involved. It is disgusting behavior from all parties involved and to be talking in front of customers? So unprofessional.

Stopped in for a quick meal with four adults and one child. We ordered promptly, but four tables that came in after us got their food first. Our waitress, who was also the bartender, was rarely around, and someone else brought our appetizers. Our drinks were refilled once. After nearly an hour, our food finally came out after I had to approach the bartender and ask about our food —plates were very hot, and my daughter’s yogurt was HOT, I can only assume from sitting under the heat lamp. When I mentioned the delay, the manager came to our table and responded rudely, saying, “I didn’t know you were in such a time crunch,” and that the chicken tenders for the Oriental salad “take six minutes alone,” instead of simply apologizing. She then left a $10 voucher on our table without saying a word about it. Which I did end up requesting to be taken off our bill today because we simply will not be returning. I understand restaurants get busy, but this felt very unprofessional and dismissive. A little communication and courtesy would’ve gone a long way.

Out of an ingredient in my order, (No broccoli) but still upcharged my 3 for $25 meals! Was told they can’t change it in the system. Thinking it’s either lack of training or laziness! With way it unacceptable! Not to mention it’s all just taken from a pre cooked bag and heated in a microwave! I travel the country and this Applebees has lost business for all others!
