Ce que disent les clients de Baji's Cafe
Baji's Cafe is a popular breakfast spot known for its large portions, tasty food, and friendly service, especially Edgar. The #23 for Tess, Heuvos Rancheros, omelettes, and pancakes are frequently praised. Some find the sausage gravy and coffee underwhelming.

Avis sur Baji's Cafe Mountain View
Excellent service, happy smiley young waitress took my breakfast order for one. Excellent chicken fried steak, perfect eggs and sourdough toast. Easy parking. As I entered I saw 4 police officers leaving after they ate. A really good sign if the local police frequent the restaurant, they know good food. Also, lots of locals saying hi to the cooks. Great locals vibe, clean interior, and great food.
We ordered pancakes (2 stack) with strawberries & chocolate stuffed in it. They were delicious and really big portions. Vegetarian Omelette was also a huge portion with hash brown and a lot of toast. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!! The ambience was nice and just like a breakfast place should be. Their shake was also yummy and their coffee was one of the good ones I’ve had.
Wait staff (Edgar especially!) were very friendly, breakfast came just as I ordered it. Eggs over easy were deliciously gooey, perfect for dunking my toast into. The chorizo had a nice grill marks and wasn't too greasy. So glad I came here instead of the chain restaurant nearby. Will come again!
Our go to breakfast spot in Mountain View! The #23 for Tess (2 humongous pancakes and 2 eggs any style (she goes over easy, in more ways than one!), and bacon, sausage or ham. I go for the Heuvos Rancheros with over-medium plus roasted red potatoes, and corn tortillas - yum! Add two lattes & great service - it's the best!
Really good simple breakfast! Not to mention very friendly staff. Ok I know...I ordered a simplistic breakfast but it was good. Scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, red potatoes and sourdough toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Soft not too soft, the chicken sausage was very flavorful and the toast was nice and thick; buttered perfectly. All accompanied but a vanilla cappuccino with extra shots of espresso. This is place to go for big hearty breakfast with nice waiters. THUMBS UP if you like Bajis Cafe or this review please.
Bajis is a very quaint cafe on Old Middlefield, next to many car repair shops. I have come to always associate fixing my car and coming here for brunch/ lunch if its a quick fix. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and gives off a warm feeling. The staff is enthusiastic and kind. I had the omelett, pancakes, and milk shake, which are all stellar. The steak as expected is not going to be as scrumptious as at an expensive steakhouse. I sat in the outside area with my dog and was pleased to see they had radiators for warmth. While nice to have, the lights can get a little too bright/ hot for comfort. Overall I can highly recommend this place!
Awesome place for breakfast and lunch I asked them to make a southern version of eggs Benedict with fried chicken, country crazy and some Sriracha honey. It was simply delectable. My wife had waffles and an egg. The staff was awesome as always. Omar is always super Took a friend there who never knew of Baji's before. He thought it was an Indian restaurant but he name but was very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast he had. Prices have gone up but so have the portions. Great value for the money
This restaurant has been in my neighborhood for the longest time, their food is tasty and can say the portions are generous, service has been great every time I’ve been there. However, I know lately prices have been going up but I ended up paying over $50 for some scrambled eggs with chorizo and hashbrowns, and 2 orange juice glasses, and 18% tip When I often pay around 25 to 28 for a meal including tip, almost double, it definitely hurt. So, though I would come back, it will likely be like a once or twice a year kind of thing.
I stopped by this place for breakfast and coffee on a Friday morning, around January 1st or 2nd. Since it was early in the year and around 7:30 a.m., the place was pretty quiet, with only a few tables occupied, and I didn’t have to wait at all. The service was good, and I ordered a very simple, classic breakfast along with coffee. The coffee was actually quite good — bottomless and refillable, though I was fine with just one cup. They served milk on the side so you could add as much as you liked. The table was stocked with hot sauce and other basic condiments. The food arrived hot and freshly prepared. The sunny-side-up eggs were straightforward and well done. The toast, already buttered with salted butter, was crunchy and tasty. The real standout, though, was the breakfast potatoes — freshly cooked, well-seasoned, crispy, and not overdone. Honestly, perfect breakfast potatoes.
Great portions and amazing flavor. I got the number 12 scramble, Chef's Choice, and definitely got it hooked up. The coffee is pretty strong too and the staff are very friendly. Appreciated the bonding with the server/ host. If I'm ever in the area for breakfast again would definitely come back.
Giving the benefit of the doubt due to covid but the sausage gravy was okay and portion did not match the size of plate leaving an underwhelming impression. The coffee was also not that good, and for 4 bucks you've got to justify it some more. Bajis breakfast hash was much better and cheaper. Clearly this place has a lot of options so would categorize this place as a jack of all trades but master of none. Until next time...
It's ok, for the price we expected a bit more. Especially the extra $3.25 to add avocado and there was less than a tablespoon added to the dish. It was just a bit disappointing Also the waffle was not crispy and I would have liked it to be Also the eggs tasted a bit cheap, for california I was expecting a bit higher quality eggs than what is probably just the cheapest cage-free The toast was actually the tastiest thing
I thought I had posted pics and rave reviews about a year ago but couldn't find it, so am posting another one. Most recently picked up breakfast this past Monday. Packaging still on point. Poached egg in the paper cup. Extra bonus points for including decent napkins and utensils without having to ask. I really like that you can customize things, for example i wanted a poached egg, hash browns, and bacon so I ordered them as sides or a la carte. I never want toast or any type of bread, which is often included, so I love this option. Poached egg was a little hard, but I prefer that to so runny there is liquid yolk everywhere when you pick it up. Bacon is thick and chewy, kind of like ham. Hash brown was fluffy and soft and smelled a little like when my frozen oreida hash browns absorbed some smells. I prefer more crisp on the outside. But all in all, a quick convenient breakfast that I didn't have to make, checks boxes. Fyi, ketchup does have high fructose corn syrup. Not an issue for me other than extra garbage, since I don't use ketchup on my breakfast eggs, bacon or hash browns.
