Avis sur Pho Tran Vu Mountain View
Phở Trần Vũ has easily become one of my go-to spots. The food is always fresh, fast, and consistent every single time. I also love how they set everything up so you have your own sauces, chopsticks, and napkins ready to go. No need to flag anyone down just to get the basics. But honestly, the reason I keep coming back goes beyond the food. A lot of Asian restaurants fall short on customer service, they drop off your food, refill water once, and that’s about it. But not here. The team at Phở Trần Vũ actually treats you like a real customer. They check in, they make sure you’re taken care of, and it feels like they actually want to be doing what they do. Great food, great service, great people. That combination is rare, and they nail it EVERY time. Highly recommend. (I have been there 3 times this week!)
I came here the other day with my family and O.M.G, everything was so good. The service is sweet and on top of that the food was delicious. I got this new special dish Filet Mignon with French Fries, something similar to Lomo Saltado but it’s more Vietnamese fusion and I was so satisfied with it. Everyone comes to this restaurant must try this out.
Dude so yummy. Once you have pho here you’ll realize that the swill you’ve been choking down at the other place is just that. Beef pho is aromatic and meaty. The chicken pho is flavorful and made with love. I love you get to choose noodles. Pro tip #32 comes with a giant rib! Cant wait to try more of the extensive and authentic menu!!
If you're craving some seriously delicious Vietnamese food with a twist, then look no further than this amazing restaurant. Not only do they serve up traditional Vietnamese dishes, but they also infuse elements of Japanese and Thai cuisine into their menu, resulting in a mouthwatering fusion of flavors that will blow your taste buds away. On my visit, I decided to go for the yellow curry seafood with udon in soup and let me tell you, it was nothing short of divine. The curry was rich, creamy, and bursting with aromatic flavors, while the seafood was cooked to perfection. The udon noodles added a lovely chewy texture to the dish, making it one of the most satisfying meals I've had in a long time. But it's not just about the food at this restaurant. The atmosphere is also top-notch, with a beautifully decorated interior and friendly, attentive staff. Whether you're dining alone or with a group, you'll feel right at home in this cozy and welcoming establishment. So come on down and indulge in some seriously tasty Vietnamese cuisine with a fusion twist. Trust me, your taste buds (and stomach) will thank you.
I really like coming to this spot, especially on Mondays — either in the morning or around lunchtime. I usually drink on the weekends, so Monday is my “hangover recovery” day, and pho always hits the spot when I wake up feeling rough. The service here is honestly great. Super friendly, quick, and they always get my order right. And just to be clear — the pho in my photos isn’t exactly what they serve here. That’s because I always take whatever broth I have left and make a second bowl at home. I don’t know why, but that leftover broth always tastes even better the next day. This place is easily one of my favorite pho spots in the area. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should definitely swing by.
We were on a Costco run and it was near the lunch hour so we gave this place a try. The first thing that got my attention was that the table was heaped with stuff. (napkins, utensils for eating in place, utensils for take-away, condiments, tools --scissors) For a 2-top table it covers about 25% of the space. We ordered the #106? which offers a combination to top our bun. I was impressed with the quality of their shrimp and pork (nicely marinated and no unwanted parts like waste line from shrimp or gristle in pork). Service was friendly and quick.
The menu is extensive and the food is very tasty. But it is simply too expensive for what you get. 20 bucks for a plate of fried rice? And it wasn't even a very large one. Stick to a curry or pho and you may leave satisfied. The Asian music was a bit too loud for my taste. The outdoor seating area is adjacent to the Costco parking lot.
This looks like a place that would be busy for the lunch crowd. We ordered a hu tieu, beef pho, cha gio and a spicy tangy seafood noodle soup. I think I prefer a simpler hu tieu with the darker sauce. The components were fine. My brother's pho had a bit more cinnamon than I prefer. Cha gio was crispy though I would have liked lettuce to wrap it with and a fish sauce not a ketchup with Chipotle. The Cafe su da was phin so it was fine, they accidentally made it iced but before it was put on the table, they microwaved it.
Ordered at the store, Efficient takeout, one of the servers was so friendly and cheerful. Sandwich was AWESOME, just the right crunchy bread, tender beef and flavorful vege. The other two dishes were normal, grilled chicken and tofu skin in the rice plate (#128) was a bit dry and chewy, the other ingredients including spicy sauce was great.
I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times, and I usually stick to the classic rare beef pho. This time, I decided to try something different. The portion of meat was very generous, and there were several noodle options to choose from, which I appreciated. However, the quality of the beef was not as fresh as expected, which slightly diminished the overall experience. We also ordered the fried spring rolls, but they were overpriced for what we received. Unfortunately, this visit was particularly disappointing compared to my previous experiences. I hope the quality improves in the future.
Dear Management of Pho Tran Vu, I am writing to share a concern regarding my recent dining experience at your restaurant. During my visit, I ordered Hủ Tiếu Bà 5 Sa Đéc and coconut shrimp. When the food arrived, I was served a bowl of noodles along with the shrimp, accompanied by small containers of sauce placed on the side. I did not request any extra sauce. However, when I paid the bill, I was charged an additional $2 for sauce for the noodle dish and $2 for sauce for the shrimp. This was upsetting, not because of the amount itself, but because these sauces are an essential part of the Hủ Tiếu Bà 5 Sa Đéc dish and should already be included as part of the standard preparation. Charging extra for sauces that are necessary to complete the dish—and were not requested as extras—felt unreasonable and unexpected. If there is a policy regarding extra charges for sauces, I believe it should be clearly communicated to customers in advance, either on the menu or verbally at the time of ordering. I hope you will review this matter and consider clarifying or adjusting this practice so future customers do not have a similar experience. I enjoy Vietnamese food and would like to continue supporting your restaurant, but transparency and fairness are very important to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I look forward to your response. Sincerely,
We ordered fried spring rolls, but they were served undercooked and still cold in the center. When I returned the dish, the waitress insisted that it had been fully cooked. She offered to cook it again, but when the dish was returned, only three halves were provided instead of the original four. I have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but this experience was disappointing, and I am unlikely to return. Additionally, I have noticed that their prices have increased.
I used to come to this restaurant, but the taste of the soups has changed a lot. We ordered number 49, and it tasted awful. When we told the manager, she just said the cook wasn't the same, and she reacted angrily. It's a shame, I don't think I'll be back.
Went for dinner, got item 200 (Vietnamese special sauce dry noodles) First off, the dish itself wasn’t good at all. Tasted like cafeteria spaghetti sauce. The next day, I woke up puking it all out at around 7am. This was followed by a 102F fever and chills. Which likely means the food itself was contaminated and gave me an infection. My partner also puked their food out, which was a pho of some kind. I would refrain from visiting this place.
