Avis sur Original Mocha Coffee House Murphy
My husband and I stopped in here for the first time after having dinner at Fine Asian right across the street. We were just looking for something sweet and figured we would give their fruit mousse pastries a try. We ended up getting the pastries, a delicious signature coffee, and hanging out for a bit because the place is just so beautiful with such a nice family atmosphere. We were even offered two teas on the house by Malak, one of the owners - she was so sweet! We’d never had Yemeni tea before so she gave us one of her favorites. It was absolutely delicious! Original Mocha is a gem and will now be our regular after-dinner spot. Give them a try!!
Amazing experience at Original Mocha Coffee Place! We tried a few of their fruit pastries and they were so good, fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Samir was incredibly kind and welcoming and even let us try the mango pastrie for free, which were delicious. Great service and great pastries. Definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back! ☕🥐
Everything wat absolutely amazing and super beautiful and amazing food, service, and atmosphere. I love it and am looking forward to coming back very soon. The fruit shaped pastries were the best I’ve ever had and I have had over 5 different ones from different places. 10/10 %10000000 recommend to anyone and everyone. Come try it out it was amazing
I recently visited Original Mocha and was thoroughly impressed! Their Aghani tea was incredibly authentic and delicious, and the atmosphere was just wonderful. The music added to the experience, and the customer service was top-notch. They made a small mistake but corrected it quickly and with a smile. Overall, this place is amazing, and I highly recommend supporting local businesses like Original Mocha!
First visit here. The decor in this place was gorgeous and it had a nice atmosphere too. I ordered an iced matcha latte and it tasted really good as far as matcha goes. My favorite thing I ordered was the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cup. It was $12.99 but very worth the price for it. It was absolutely delicious and the combination of everything in it worked very well together. The pistachios that were in it was just the right amount. Definitely give it a try if you do try them out. The service was great they were able to send our order to the table. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for good coffee and desserts. Definitely not the same as a Starbucks or those other chain coffee places.
Original Mocha has firmly established itself as my morning headquarters. It is rare to find a spot that strikes such a perfect balance, sophisticated and quiet enough for focused work, but with a welcoming, relaxed energy that makes it a genuine pleasure to visit daily. The menu is consistently excellent and feels distinctively authentic. My go-to order is the Adeni Chai, which is rich, aromatic, and arguably the best in town. I typically pair it with the Jubani and the Eggs with Turkey Bacon roll. If you are looking for a refined workspace that offers a high-caliber breakfast and a productive atmosphere, I cannot recommend this place enough. It is a true professional respite.
Beautiful spot to come for coffee, tea and dessert. Location is clean and aesthetically gorgeous! Enjoyed the mango dessert and Oreo cheesecake. Also the Karak Chai!
If you’re looking for the perfect mix of amazing coffee, fresh pastries, and a calm atmosphere, Original Mocha Coffee in Murphy is the place to be! We stopped in this morning and were instantly greeted with warm smiles and top-notch customer service. I ordered the Spanish latte, which was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. Paired it with a fresh, cheese danish that was baked to perfection. The vibes here are unbeatable peaceful, cozy, and just the right kind of energy for working, studying, or simply unwinding. The seating is comfortable, the music is at the perfect volume, and the whole space has that “stay a while” charm. The staff clearly cares about their customers, and it shows in both the drinks and the service. Whether you’re a coffee lover, a pastry fan, or just need a relaxing spot to get things done, this place is worth every visit. Can’t wait to come back!
This place is very good. I have the Om mofawar with sugar every time I visit. I tried it once and have not been able to get anything else because it is that good. The food is delicious. I try something new each time. I recommend the pistachio milk cake, it was incredible.
As soon as I walked in for the first time this morning, I was not expecting the interior to look the way it did.. my wife decided to take us here as our normal spot was closed for Thanksgiving.. we were met by a warm and sweet girl named Dua who made our first experience here one that brought me back in just now.. I shared that experience with Emad & Wael and they were so kind to not only make me one of the best latte's I've ever had, they shared with me a complimentary dessert that was so decadent and delicious..
I attended the Standup comedy show by Abdullah Jassem. The atmosphere was great, I had a lovely of fun, joy and laughing. I do recommend trying this place if you ever being in town!
This is a great place! I ordered a small Turkish coffee and a chocolate croissant. The croissant warmed up was flaky and delicious, and also large (it also felt pricy, but that didn't bother me). The Turkish coffee is their version of black coffee with no added cream or sugar. I thought it was delicious; it was smooth, its flavor was mild and nice but not in your face, and it wasn't bitter. As a person who can't really do creams and such, I actually felt like I really enjoyed my beverage for what it was on its own. The actual shop is very clean with plenty of seating and comfy chairs and leather cushions. Outdoor seating looks inviting, and from inside it offered a surprisingly quaint view of trees and other shops, despite it being off a busy road. Something else to note (haha) is their choice of music playing in the shop. I really appreciated it; it was a mixture of piano remixes along with some mild pop and newer tracks, but it fit the vibe by being a vibe all on its own and didn't feel out of place with the shop itself. It also wasn't too loud, so if I came with a friend I could actually hear them speak. At the time of this review it looks like they opened rather recently, but it's a gem of a place. Can't wait to come back.
Love to see a new cafe in Murphy! The space is actually very large and open. There’s tons of seating which is great for working/studying! I ordered the OM Signature Latte and LOVED it, wish it came in more 12 oz! However, they did charge me an extra $1 for ice so I am not a huge fan of that. Especially since that was not disclosed on the menu or verbally stated to me. I found out looking at the receipt…

Wow so glad I stumbled upon this place while shopping. I needed a pick me up and I can’t stand Starbucks coffee. I never had Yemeni coffee before! Very impressive interior design. Love the atmosphere and decor of this place. Service was excellent as we were greeted by two cheerful and helpful ladies. I recommend the pistachio latte. My husband got the Turkish coffee (he likes his coffee black). Support local business!

Original Mocha is the best new Yemeni coffee shop in town! The iced drinks are next level! The Iced Pistachio Latte and Dragon Fruit Refresher are refreshing, flavorful, and perfectly balanced — not too sweet, just bold and smooth. Easily the best cold coffee and refreshers I’ve had in Murphy

A friend and I met up for coffee and I randomly came across the Original Mocha House. We were pleasantly surprised by both the service and the food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and Sameer and Emad provided exceptional hospitality. I couldn’t decide between the pistachio latte and the mocha latte, and Sameer recommended the iced pistachio latte—it was delicious. My friend ordered the Maleki with extra cream and loved it. We were even offered samples of other menu items, which was such a generous touch. We’ll definitely be back for the wonderful service and, of course, the great coffee.
Many coffee and tea options also let’s not forget of their delicious pastries. Service is friendly and welcoming. Place looks clean and very nice decor. They close late. Tried their rose latte and a cheesecake both very tasty.
Got the strawberry matcha after Pilates and l loved it! The service was kind, he even brought it to me when ready. My one thing is - if you don’t like grassy this may be strong for you but I like it! Sometimes it did separate and tasted a little grassy but minor. The strawberry flavor was good and not overly sugary. Would return!
I visited Original Mocha Coffee House during their soft opening and was impressed with the friendly, knowledgeable staff. They took time to explain the drinks, which helped me decide on the OM Signature — a creamy, delicious blend of vanilla, cardamom, and cinnamon. I also tried a danish, but the texture seemed a bit off — tough and dry. There's beautiful decor, plenty of seating and free Wi-Fi. I went on a weekday afternoon, and even with fewer than 10 people inside, it still felt a bit noisy. I’m looking forward to coming back to try more.
Not quite sure why this chain chronically pursues understaffing as a badge of honor. Had to wait for ten minutes to place my order while the workers immersed themselves with fulfilling previous orders. Strange because the place was not brimming with customers. The Pistachio Frappe had some green color but the coffee was masked by the excessive indulgence of sweetness. My fault because my preferred indulgence was not on the menu. The Tiramisu was also a bad choice on my part. The wooden seats are not my preference for seating. Unlike other coffee shops, one cannot relax comfortably on cushioned seats.
Had coffee last night at Original Mocha with friends. The atmosphere was really nice and being closer to our houses is at a sweet spot for visiting. The coffee was fine not exclusive compared to other coffee shops, however, i only tried Mofawar and there might be other options better so I would recommend going! ☕😊🏠 Friends, Atmosphere, Coffee, Shops, Options #CoffeeLover #FriendsTime #CafeVibes

Very nice interior, clean. However I was very disappointed to be served our drinks (tea and coffee) in To-Go cups despite it being a sit-down scenario. They asked to-go or for here, we said “for-here”. The drink took forever to cool off in that insulated cup, and I sat and waiting for it to be drinkable temperature. I absolutely dislike this trend of food/drink places cheaping out on using proper dishes. 👎

I came here for an iced latte and was genuinely surprised to see an extra $1 charge just for ice. Not a size upgrade, not extra espresso—ice. When I questioned it, the staff insisted this is “legit.” Let’s be clear: charging customers an additional dollar for ice in an iced drink feels deceptive and opportunistic. Ice is not an add-on; it is an expected component of an iced latte. If higher pricing is needed, it should be transparently built into the menu price—not added as a surprise charge at checkout. The food itself was acceptable, but practices like this leave a very bad taste. Customers deserve honesty and upfront pricing, not nickel-and-diming over something as basic as ice. I won’t be returning, and I would strongly caution others to check their receipt carefully PS: I like thank the owner for their response. But unfortunately, I am standing by my original review. My receipt clearly shows a separate $1 charge for ice, and this charge was not disclosed anywhere on the menu at the time of purchase. Regardless of how you justify it after the fact, adding an undisclosed fee at checkout is misleading from a customer’s perspective. Charging extra for ice in an iced latte is not standard practice, and when it is not transparently communicated upfront, it feels fraudulent. Customers should not discover additional charges only after receiving their receipt. Moreover, in terms of volume, you actually put less amount than the hot coffee, if you think it mathematically. Murphy has many coffee shops, and customers—including myself—have plenty of choices. Unfortunately, this pricing practice is enough for me to choose otherwise going forward. I respectfully decline to remove my feedback, as it reflects my genuine experience. I genuinely wish you all the best.
