Avis sur Lavender Ridge Murphys
Lavender Ridge is an absolute gem! The wine was fantastic on its own, but the cheese pairings took the whole experience to another level; truly a must-try. The staff was incredibly friendly and personable, offering the kind of warm, genuine customer service that makes you want to stay all afternoon. The tasting room itself is beautiful, filled with fresh lavender cuttings that make the whole space smell heavenly. There’s also the cutest retail area stocked with lavender goods and all the charcuterie ingredients you could ever want. Such a charming, relaxing place to spend a day. Highly recommend! 💜🍷
This amazing winery was recommended to my by Jim from Gossamer Cellars right next door as my third stop in Murphys. While the wines were tasty, I was excited by the assortment of CHEESE! 3 of the wines are served with a small cheese pairing, and fortunately, they sell the cheeses in the store. So I get to recreate these tasty bites at home. I also loved the cute lavender soaps, candles, infused honey, and little gifts all around the store. The back wall has bushels of Lavender hanging that I assume are for sale (?). I'm mad at myself for not buying one, but I'll definitely be back to this shop. I was served by Lauren, who handled the crowd beautifully on her own.
Super cute tasting room with a lovely lavender smell! Three of the wines on the flight are paired with delicious cheeses and they sell lots of cheese, skincare products, and lavender items.
Great experience wine tasting here. Had lots of fun. Not a fan of the sheep cheese though. Lol.

We liked the whites better than the reds. The cheese pairing was amazing.
There are so many cute tasting rooms in Murphys but this one stood out to me. The lavender scent inside is divine, adding to the welcoming vibe was the smiling sommelier. My husband + I did the tasting with cheese pairing. I usually enjoy whites and reds so having both worked well for my taste. The 2018 Syrah was the clear winner. The whites were good but the reds were great. The cheese was really delicious as well. Definitely worth a stop! It's $15 for the pairing, which goes toward a bottle purchase.
My daughter brought me "up the hill" to enjoy a stroll down memory lane for my birthday. The ride was gorgeous, 4East has really been improved. We were enjoying main street in Murphy's, and discovered, Lavender Ridge Vineyard. They offer wine tasting with cheese pairings. I highly recommended you try them out as the price is reasonable for seven wines and three cheeses. The cheese offerings were savory and the wines flavorful yet light on the pallet. My two favorite of the days offerings were, Grenache Rose and Syrah. The day was memorable and Lavender Ridge was definitely a part of it. Thank you for being a part of my birthday week extravaganza. I will be back!
The wine and cheese pairing was excellent. All of the wines we tried were delicious. The workers were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Great wines, great experience. A couple we were with joined their wine club so all of our tastings were free with their purchase. Highly recommend and would definitely return.
Cute tasting room. Love the cheese/ wine pairing. Thought the staff was super friendly. The wines were great! I'd definitely go back
I got the cheese and wine pairing and it was super good! The gift shop had tons of cool items and foods. I got some of the wines and cheeses I tried, too! I’m excited to try the cheese and wine again! There is also jam that you can put on the cheese and I got some of that, too!
One of the best tasting rooms in Murphys if not the best. The service is always awesome and I love the cheese pairings they do. A huge part of the great experience is Kevin who we've had the pleasure of seeing almost every time we go up. He's warm and hospitable, always making time for guests and providing great context on the wine and cheese. The tasting room itself smells incredible with lavender hung on the back wall.
The wines were yummy, the cheese is super tasty. I'm not huge for drinking anymore but I had to come on here and give Cheryle so many kudos for her customer service!!! The nicest woman ever. Very friendly and made me feel like we were besties. She convinced me to try a blue cheese and I absolutely hate blue cheese, but it was so mild in the taste that I dislike that I was not mad at all that I tried it. Thank you Cheryle for being such an awesome human!!!
Wine and cheese pairing are wonderful. Highly recommend tastings here.
This Tasting Room continues to be my FAVORITE one to visit and taste whenever we visit Murphey’s! Whether I am with a larger group, a few friends, or my husband… The staff are so well trained, courteous, and patient! Not to mention, the wine and cheese pairings are superb! I am always having to buy more than what I’m given in our wine club! Special THANKS to Quinn this past visit!
Just returned on March 10 to find everything just as good as it was before including the wine pairing. You need to stop by and try these artisan cheese!

Such a cute little tasting station in the middle of beautiful, historic Murphy's! The wine-tasting menu is quite delicious. Lavender's Ridge's house white and red blends were just the right balance of fruity and spicy, nevermind conveniently affordable so if you're up for a wine-tasting pub-crawl, this is where to do it! The crackers and cheeses paired with half of the wines were remarkably complimentary and if you'd like to recreate the process at home for family or friends, the whole store has extra goodies for you to buy! (Though I kind of wished there were more pairings with the six glasses I tasted, the three given were amazing enough.) As a South African living in the US, it truly warms my heart every time I see spices from home making their way into American kitchens and lifestyle. The Rooibos tea blend smelt and tasted fantastic, but if you're interested in more overtly floral flavours, they had their own lavender tea mix too as well as soaps, creams, candles and so much more! I will definitely be returning to try out their red Bordeaux blends and hopefully buy one of those large bushels of lavender hanging from the back wall when they're in stock again.
Some pretty good wine. Sample 7 wines and 3 cheeses for $15 and the tasting fee taken off if you buy a bottle. It’s a great deal and worth the stop.
Host was excellent, and they pair their wine with cheese that they sell in store. I enjoyed about half of the wines... The others were ok. I definitely took home a bottle of the Syrah. Paired with blue cheese and the walnuts (omg the walnuts)...I had to buy it.

I was in a panic trying to find a birthday gift for mom, and at the bottom of the ninth hour...Lavender Ridge Vineyard came sliding in. They had wine tasting with cheese pairing to specific wines. They were personable, knowledgeable and kind. Cheese and wine tasting is reasonably priced. Not bad for the start of birthday week! P.S. To top it off, they have us a discount because of mom's birthday. This shop also has other offerings besides wine and cheese. A treasure trove to be explored.

Great wine, love the lavender theme and that they pair their wines with cheeses and crackers. Some places don't do that, so it's nice to have a chance of pace with that. The people at the bar are nice but not overly nice, they maybe need to smile a little bit more and get more involved with their patrons at the bar.
Cute shop. Terrible hospitality. I was shopping and wanted to buy some products. There was a family doing a tasting and I stood there at bar for almost 10 minutes waiting for help and did not even get acknowledgement. Even after she had finished serving them... I was completely ignored, so I just left. Maybe it was because I'd just finished a hike and didn't "look the part" . Too bad I had a credit card with a zero balance and money to spend. Wine snobbery at it's finest.

On a recent camping trip, we stopped and purchased these two wines from Sierra Hills Market (Wish I had time to stop and taste first, then buy. Could've saved myself some money.) The first wine was the Barbera on the left which I've already negatively reviewed elsewhere. The Lavender Ridge was a 2017, Cotes du Calaveras, and was overall more palatable than the Klassen but was also afflicted with the same malady. Both were above the taste threshold for volatile acidity, so the wine had that characteristic "tanginess" and perception of slight sweetness that comes from the wine turning to vinegar. My question is, who would release a wine like that? The CduC actually had some nice notes in the background, but the VA just ruined it. Why didn't you blend it out? Or, hire a VA removal machine. Your reputation is at stake.
