We were walking back to our hotel after the Napa valley Baloon ride we were very hungry and we were welcomed in Joes -we were the early birds and we enjoyed our Bfast We ordered the Sourdough Sandwich —filled with Bacon and eggs / The veggie omelette paired with bread and chips and eggs hash brown and sausage—all very we’ll presented and served hot and with a smile -We also had the hot chocolate and Darjeeling tea —I loved the ambiance too and service was superb —a must visit for all tourists

Got there at happy hour. Hubby enjoyed the House Taster Set. Tried the Mexican Corn Riblets, which were tasty... not sure worth $7.95. He lived the High Five Virtue and the beer fries that came with them were yummy! I enjoyed the Spicy Cajun Penne Pasta very much and recommend!

My wife and had the pleasure of dining there today, January 18 and you couldn't ask for a better experience whether it was Janice as the hostess or the exceptional service from Iris getting our food and drinks plus the other staff members. Iris was patient and attentive to my wife's choices even though she was torn between ordering the tacos or the fish & chips. Iris gave her the time to settle on what she wanted. Having recently had her brother passed unexpectedly. This was a day for her to be catered to and enjoy. And then Janice visited with us making sure we were happy or if we needed something. They worked in tandem. Highly recommend them and Downtown Joe's!!!

Loved their happy hour: fantastic cocktails, beer flight, wings, ceasar salad (my fave with the side of roasted garlic & bread), nachos (my husband's fave with their queso & freshly made chips) & corn riblets. Service was so welcoming & attentive. Will have to return.

When you first walk in, it looks like a cute neighborhood bar. The dining area is up a few stairs in the rear. There is also outside seating g along the river. Had the prime rib and it was quite tasty. Local brews were also good.

Coffee quality: 2.5 Chicken Fried Steak- Flavor: 4.5 Presentation: 4 Value for money: ($21) 4 Alexander comments on the meal: steak maintained crispiness despite being covered in gravy. Flavor was amazing. Did have to season the eggs and potatoes though. Meat Lovers Benedict- Flavor: 3.5 Presentation: 4 Value for money: ($19) 3 Ariana's comments on the meal: overall good Benedict with properly cooked poached egg and really nice crispy hash browns. However, if you are indeed a meat lover, you should likely try other options that include meat.

An unassuming dive bar favored by the locals, with an interesting sports bar/old time saloon thing going. Doesn't look like much on the outside, compared to its glitzy neighbors. But the food is great! We had the chicken skewers and the beet salad with grilled salmon, and both were finger-licking good!

Beautiful views. The arugula pecan salad with chicken perfectly hit the spot. But don’t order espresso martinis, taste syrupy and premade.

Place was nice, no wait. It's was under construction which means after the remodel it should be beautiful. They have in and out door seating along the water. Napa weather can get pretty hot so it's perfect. They mimosa was pretty good as well. I would go back. Waiter was friendly.

We stopped by Downtown Joe's for a few drinks and to catch the primetime NFL game. While the atmosphere was lively, the first server/bartender who came by us gave a bit of a cold reception. She seemed distant, didn’t smile, or speak at all during her initial visits to drop off menus and plateware. It was still early in the evening, around 8 PM, with plenty of other patrons arriving after us, so it's not like we were keeping the staff there late into the night. Thankfully, our experience improved when another welcoming staff member (name on the bill is Wyatt) took over. The drinks and snacks we ordered were solid, and the front bar area had plenty of TVs, making it a good spot to enjoy the game.

Very delicious little breakfast spot. The dining room that overlooks the Napa river is really quiet and nice. They have a great patio as well! The servers and waitress were so nice and accommodating for my toddler. I got the breakfast sandwich and swapped the cheddar cheese with Gouda. Omg - it was amazing. Highly recommend! Historical artifacts on the walls make this a quaint little eatery.

Great location near the river and Veterans Park with outdoor, covered, patio sitting. A great laid back setting for a beautiful, care free, night out. Service was great! Our waitress, Morgan, was attentive and friendly, as well as everyone else we spoke with at the restaurant. The food menu looked great with a good selection of bar-type food, but what we chose was not what we hoped for. The Brisket Sliders were made of chopped tiny tiny bit size brisket, dry bread and a tiny serving of slaw with a drop of BBQ sauce. I never had brisket served this way and thought they should have just brought toothpicks to eat the tiny pieces with. I couldn't even taste the flavor of the meat. I highly recommend they shy away from serving brisket this way! I heard they do the same with the pastrami in the Reuben sandwich. What? :( The shredded pork sandwich was good and with a good portion of meat. Our meals lso came with beer fries which was great and what saved our night. We will certainly give them another shot for the service and location and hopefully, next time, they will have made adjustments to how they serve brisket.

I love what they have done with the new space to the side and by the river. I like the atmosphere and the vibe of a casual riverfront place. Food was pretty good. It great, but acceptable for a place like this. Menu selections are appropriate. Prices are normal. Went for brunch and see these issues 1) Not enough staff. Table was not clean when we sat down. The few people working tables are running fast but are way behind. Asked for a menu twice, for coffee 3 times. Food was served by a helper and almost feel he threw it at us. Big need to elevate service 2) DJ’s needs to shut down for 3-4 days and do a deep scrub cleaning, painting etc. Looks very run down inside. Bathrooms are yuk. Big welcome for downtown Napa. Keep working on elevating things.

My wife and I stopped in for a bite prior to a show at the Uptown theater. We were promptly seated at a table outside in the bar area. After being seated we waited for the waitress to come and get our drink order. After sitting there watching her walk right by us multiple times without acknowledging our presence I finally called her over. She was very brusque but took our order of one beer and a couple dinners. She brought the beer, and basically just put it at the end of the table not saying a word and no eye contact. That was the last we saw of her. It was like she was pissed off at something or us, I don't know. The bar tender could see we were not happy with the level of service after about 25 to 30 minutes of no service, and came over to chat and that's when our meals came out. Wife had fish and chips and I had the steak wedge salad. I assumed from the title there was steak in the salad but my bad for not reading the description closer. Wife's Cole slaw was warm and not appetizing but the fish and chips were ok. Overall not a very good dining experience.
