Avis sur HB's Naples
Four Seasons HB in Naples delivers an experience that is nothing short of spectacular. The hotel itself is stunning, and dining right on the beach at sunset creates a coastal atmosphere that feels both relaxed and elevated. Our server, Helena, was outstanding. She struck the perfect balance of professionalism and approachability, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the meal. The food was exceptional, starting with the tuna appetizer, followed by a phenomenal wagyu steak and a shrimp curry that was extremely flavorful, probably the best dish of its kind I have had in Naples. Overall, this was truly one of my best restaurant experiences in town. After dinner, we stopped by The Merchant Bar for a tequila old fashioned and a chamomile tea. Dennis welcomed us with enthusiasm and delivered service that matched the standard set at dinner. Even the valet team stood out, they were professional, helpful, and kind. This is an incredible addition to the Naples dining scene. Well done to the entire Four Seasons team, especially considering this level of excellence only one week after opening.
Excellent food with an amazing view. This is a gorgeous new property. Make a reservation for dining. We went when they had only been open 1.5 weeks - some kinks to work out but they’ll get there. Tuna smash burger sounded like an odd combo with broccolini and burrata but it was really good. I’d get again.
It’s still the soft launch of the reopening but everything was lovely. Service was excellent. So nice to have this gem on the beach renovated. We also tried the taco bar side and it was great.
Gorgeous view, relaxing, excellent food, first class experience you'd expect from The Four Seasons.
The scallops were amazing, the view and service was definitely an added bonus!
Super great lunch 🥗 Kenny was wonderful !!
Great service and sunset dining
This is inside the four seasons and very well maintained. It is priced for excellent quality food and I was not disappointed. The lobster salad was the best we had in the area and offered it twice. There is nice outdoor covered seating on sunny days but still enjoy a wonderful breeze. Service is still adjusting but I have I have no doubt it will be better every month.
The restaurant and the bar are absolutely gorgeous with views of the ocean. Our waitress was so sweet. We ordered a bottle of wine, the trout pate, oysters, shrimp curry and the lobster cobb. All delicious. Would definitely come back. Thank you HB's
We had an amazing experience as a party of four, seated on the terrace with ocean view. Ordered several appetizers plus seafood platters and we were all pleasantly surprised with how generous the portions are. The prices seemed high at first glance but our minds were changed as the quality of seafood was perhaps the best we’ve ever had in Naples.
Great water views, the window openings gives you the feeling that you're out at sea!
Excellent all around! True to the original but better.
The beachfront setting is incredible! Highly recommend. All of the seafood options and garlic seaweed bread were delicious. The olive oil container was also adorable.
Had an incredible birthday celebration for my girlfriend at the Four Seasons last night. The hotel and atmosphere are beautiful, and the food was fantastic. A special shoutout to Danny and Jameson at the HB bar, their service was top !!!, arguably the best we’ve seen in the states. The cocktails were exceptional. Definitely a must in southwest Florida! 20/10
Wow! Beachfront dining at its best. What a special place! Such delicious food. Will be back.
I was looking for a nice place to eat on the water. This restaurant ticked every box.. we had a wonderful lunch! We were seated at a table overlooking the beach with an incredible view of the water. The four of us all had different things to eat… the lobster roll, the lobster salad, the smash burger and the BLT. Each meal was delicious. We also all had a glass of wine which were all very good.. I appreciated that we were never rushed and able to have a leisurely luncheon. The only negative was that it was VERY difficult to get there with the construction taking place. There wasn’t really any signage indicating how to get to the hotel, only detour signs. We had no idea those were what we should follow. Sort of surprised the hotel didn’t note that in any of the communication sent out regarding the reservation. We stopped two construction men and had to call the hotel to get directions as we were lost and not being from the area had no idea where to go. Otherwise we had a wonderful meal and afternoon. Highly recommend
I looked at reviews before i made a reservation. it was important to me to be on the water with my wife as i wanted that essence and I also wanted to walk the beech with her afterward. a lot of reviews say the food not great. I disagree. i went into it as ok well at least well be on the ocean, to wow!! amazing food. we got oysters, salads, lobster rolls, blt, and burger and it was amazing food. so don't always trust the reviews, I almost didn't go because of them. dinner was amazing and the ocean was awesome. the environment is clean and so nice. if you make reservations from OpenTable make sure you correct your gps to north and not south. it takes you to a 4 way intersection. and make sure you make a reservation with at least a week in advance for prime time
A beautiful new addition to Naples. The space, energy, and hospitality were all wonderful, especially our server Angie, who was incredibly kind and attentive on a very busy night. The sourdough alone is worth the visit. While the bar was understandably backed up during peak hours/busy season, the team handled everything with professionalism and warmth. We frequently visit with locals and already have plans to return with a larger group for sunset drinks, excited to watch this place continue to hit its stride!
Beautiful atmosphere & view. Service at the bar a bit lacking. They don’t act Four Seasons trained. Management was a little unconcerned with minor issues. They are really not ready to be fully open. They don’t have proper setups in their bathrooms for handicap stalls & they run out of hand towels quite often for drying. Staff still needs much training. They are not prepared for the influx of people. They will be extremely overwhelmed when season fully hits. The food & drink is hit or miss. 5th Ave cocktail & lobster roll are great. 5 stars for the views & the host, Charles. 3 stars for all else. The rest needs a little more work. We understand kinks in grand openings & we are already regulars as year round locals but more needs to be done. There is a lack of experience all around. I look forward to updating my review in the future as things progress.
The place is brand new and probably only a soft opening as they’re still working on the restaurant. The view is amazing, and very high quality furnishings. It’s price as expected. I had the smash burger and it was small 1 patty? My wife had the lobster roll and also light on the lobster. Fries and side salad good, and very hot fries. Waitress was very nice. Drinks were good but on the smaller side. I’m sure they’ll do very well.
Very disappointed in the meal. Lackluster, tacos, the worst shrimp cocktail i've ever had. Ceviche was bland. Service was extremely slow.
Had lunch at HB's in the Four Season today, first time there. I was very unimpressed with the food. I ordered the Lobster Cobb Salad and I asked our waitress if there was anything else on it besides what the menu read. She said no, but it arrived with Radishes and Tomatoes which I don't care for. They took a head of iceberg lettuce, cut it in half and on top was the slightest bit of Lobster meat, the avocado was barely visible and brown, there was probably not even 1/8 of a hard boiled egg, lite sprinkle of actual blue cheese crumbles and the bacon looked to be from a bag. I would give my meal a 3 out of 10 and that's generous. It is a pretty view to be sure and the chairs were comfortable but I will not be returning . Very disappointed. Also, they don't offer a bread basket.
The food at HB’s restaurant was very disappointing — bland and overly simple. I honestly expected much better. The lobster roll was very basic and lacked flavor, and it is not served on brioche bread as stated on the menu. The strawberry pavlova had no flavor and didn’t even include strawberries. The chocolate dessert was also tasteless; only the small amount of chocolate ice cream was decent, but the rest had no flavor at all. The only highlight was the cocktail, which was good.
We had been eagerly anticipating the grand reopening of HB’s, formerly located at the old Naples Beach Hotel. After the hotel was demolished and replaced by the new Four Seasons, the developers thoughtfully recreated the beloved beach bar and HB’s restaurant, preserving much of what longtime patrons appreciated while introducing a fresh, more sophisticated aesthetic. Knowing how difficult reservations can be to secure, I booked a table in November to celebrate my husband’s February birthday. The new hotel and restaurant are undeniably beautiful. The sunset view from the dining room was spectacular, and the ambiance is exactly what one would expect from a Four Seasons property—polished, elegant, and serene. Unfortunately, the service did not rise to that same standard. While the setting felt five-star, the attentiveness felt far more casual. When I think of the elevated, intuitive service and culinary precision at The Ritz-Carlton in Naples, HB’s simply did not compare. Our server was frequently absent, slow to respond, and did not address concerns thoroughly. At a restaurant of this caliber, having to request water refills—twice—is disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable. The meal itself was inconsistent. We began with cocktails, a smoked trout dip, and an octopus appetizer. All were solid and enjoyable. I attempted to order a glass of Sancerre with dinner, only to be told they were out, with no acceptable alternative. For our entrées, we ordered the grouper and grilled lobster. We were told the grouper was black grouper; however, having enjoyed both varieties many times, this appeared and tasted more like red grouper, which is generally considered less premium. Beyond that, the portion was modest, and the accompaniments were minimal. The lobster was particularly disappointing—overcooked in some areas and undercooked in others—paired with a very small bowl of raw greens that did little to elevate the plate. We left hungry and underwhelmed after an almost $300 dinner for two (including tip), plus $15 for valet parking before gratuity. The bar may be worth visiting for a sunset cocktail, as the setting truly is stunning. However, based on our experience, we would not return for dinner.
After anxiously awaiting our long-anticipated visit, we were sadly disappointed. As Naples residents, we brought four guests to experience what we hoped would become a new local jewel, but the evening fell short from the start. Echoing noise, sterile décor, and a nearby table of unruly children immediately detracted from the atmosphere. We remained optimistic, assuming it was simply a rough beginning. Our waitress, Angie, did her best to counter the negatives with her charm. When I mentioned that the environment felt more like Chuck E. Cheese than a fine-dining experience, she laughed nervously but took no action to address the concern. We waited an unusually long time for our cocktails. When they finally arrived, a gentleman delivered them without knowing who had ordered what, “auctioning” the drinks tableside and forgetting one glass of wine entirely. The sourdough bread, served with an excellent olive oil, was so hard the crust was nearly inedible, forcing us to enjoy only the softer interior. The main courses were mixed. The lobster, split horizontally, was visually impressive but required quite a bit of effort to eat. My shrimp curry had a heavy tomato base with very little spice; I would rate it a 5 out of 10. The three husbands shared the seafood platter, which offered generous portions and was enjoyed, especially alongside the corn with blue cheese and whipped potatoes. Desserts were delicious and clearly made in-house—but unfortunately, it was too little, too late to redeem the overall experience. For a Four Seasons property, we expected far more. A renowned name alone is not enough; better service, ambiance, and attention to detail are essential.
The only reason I'm giving two stars here is the venue and the view. We sat down and they didn't have menus for us. They said they had 100 but they couldn't find them, even though there were only about 6 tables sat. I ordered a skinny margarita. It wasn't good. I got half of it down and requested more salt which never came. My hamachi was good but my husband's fish was so tough it had to be chewed and chewed and chewed and chewed to even swallow. Two out of 5 stone crabs were okay. The manager (I assume) came over and we told her the experience. She offered a new drink for me but I declined. They replaced the fish dish and it was better the second time. The couple we were with were celebrating their 30th anniversary that weekend. The restaurant did nothing. The previous night we were at Ocean Prime, who gave them dessert, champagne, and even put rose petals on the table. But not at the Four Seasons. The fish was comped, which of course was appreciated, but we won't be back. There are too many better restaurants on every corner. Really disappointed and I can't believe Four Seasons has there name on this place.
I used to go to this restaurant regularly and was always very pleased. It had good food, great service and a fabulous view of the Gulf. It has been renovated and is now part of the Four Seasons hotel. I have been twice since it has been reopened under the new establishment. Very DISAPPOINTED. The food is sub par at best, the quaintness that it used to have is gone, service is poor and even if you make a reservation weeks in advance to get a table close to a view, you don’t. Not what one would consider up to Four Seasons standards.
Update (see restaurant response below): I tried contacting Michael at the number provided. It was busy half the time with no ability to leave a message. When I did get through the first time, it was not a direct line or even a number for the restaurant, but the general hotel number. They did not know who he was or have a way to connect me with him. The second time I tried, the person took a message for him (I provided my number) and gave me his email. I sent him and email and have not heard anything from him - it has been weeks now. The Atmosphere & Decor The recent updates to HB’s are a success. The upgraded decor is elegant and modern, perfectly complementing the unbeatable beach view. It remains one of the best spots in Naples to enjoy a meal right on the water. The Food The culinary experience was a bit of a mixed bag. * The Hits: The Chicken BLT was standout—very flavorful and well-executed. * The Misses: The Tuna Carpaccio was good, though it didn’t quite reach the heights of others I’ve had at similar price points. * The "Jimmy P’s" Value Gap: As a local, I was surprised to see the Jimmy P’s Smash Burger featured prominently by name on the menu. While it is a quality burger, HB’s price point of $28—compared to $16.50 at Jimmy P’s own establishment—felt excessive. I expect a premium for the Four Seasons location and view, but a nearly 70% markup for an outsourced brand name felt more like a "tourist tax" than added value. The Service Unfortunately, the service did not match the Four Seasons reputation. Our experience was quite slow and disorganized. Our waitress completely forgot our appetizer, and we had to ask twice for our drinks before they finally arrived. For a luxury resort environment, one expects a much more attentive and seamless dining flow. The Verdict Go for the view and the refreshed ambiance, but be prepared for a disconnect between the high price tags and the level of service provided. I hope to see the management address the service pacing to match the beautiful new surroundings.
Extremely disappointed in the food quality. The views were fantastic and staff was nice but all components of the meal were not satisfactory (cold and over cooked entrees, extremely small portions for price point). We love the Naples dining scene but unfortunately this was one of the worst dinners we have experienced here
I recently booked a lunch reservation for a special birthday for my mom. I had a 12:15 reservation in my calendar. When we arrive the host said he couldn’t find the reservation and could not accommodate us. I explained our situation and apologized if I made an error booking and even though it was nearly empty he refused to help us. We had a lovely lunch in the lobby restaurant but we won’t be back.
Small portions, ridiculously expensive and don’t eat the seaweed!
If I could I would rate this 0 STARS worst place ever
