Un restaurante mexicano muy agradable por su decoración, por un momento fue como trasladarse a cualquier parte de mexico. El trato fue bueno, los camareros muy atentos y pese a estar casi lleno, no se demoraron en tomarnos la comanda, ni después, en servirnos la comida. Lo que pica, pica, pero en general la comida esta muy buena. El precio en consonancia con el sitio donde está, y a la calidad que te ponen. No dejeia de probar la chumichanga de carne, me parecio apoteósica maridada con una cerveza con tequila.

Me encantan los restaurantes mexicanos y como no tuve que probar este de Nerja. La decoración me pareció fabulosa, te transporta totalmente a Mexico. El servicio fue rápido y atento. La comida nos gustó mucho y nos sorprendió bastante ya que algunas reseñas no la ponían como buena y no nos esperábamos gran cosa pero como ya digo nos sorprendió, eso si cuidado al pedir xq ponen bastante cantidad. Volveremos seguro

El mejor mejicano que hemos ido. Un sitio de tradición en Nerja, desde 1978. Nos atendieron genial, agradecimiento especial a Toni, muy amable con nosotros. Me encantó el ambiente y la decoración. Comida y bebida de 10. Volveremos sin duda!

No suelo poner reseñas , pero me ha encantado este sitio. Entramos por casualidad y la sorpresa de un patio decorado con motivos de México precioso. La comida excelente , muy rica. Y el precio muy asequible. Quiero destacar la amabilidad de los camareros. Si volvemos a Nerja iremos y además lo contaremos a la gente cercana que venga para que no se lo pierdan

Wonderful ambient with a typical Mexican style interior . Lovely vibrant colours everywhere and Latino music . Food is always delicious 😋. We have been several times and did not have any problems with the food neither the service which is great. Suitable for children inside and outside , only for wheelchairs outside are might be suitable . Whatever you try is delicious made by Mexican 🇲🇽 chef 👩‍🍳. During the weekend is busy apart from during the week is quiet .

Edit August 2025: Fourth year here again, and we had the most amazing dinner. Good and fast service, really tasty enchilada, quesadilla and burrito, as well as dessert. Looking forward to being back next time we're in Nerja! Edit August 2023: It's our third year here in a row, and to be honest I don't understand the bad reviews, and I'm sorry for those who had bad luck. We went last night for dinner, waited around 15 min to get a table (it was full), ordered drinks and 2 enchiladas, got our order in less than 15 mins, and we were done with bill paid in another 15 min or so. The food still tasted amazing, I can't speak about authenticity as I've never been to Mexico, but it's still the best we've had. No stomach pain, no rude staff, everything was spotless. We'll definitely be back again! Original review: We went past this place a few times and always thought it's got a nice vibe. Tonight we were lucky to get a table and it was such a good experience! The menu is really varied, from a lot of traditional dishes, to vegetarian options and BBQ dishes. We tried the burrito and enchiladas, they were so tasty, words can't describe it. I would have tried a dessert as well, if only I could eat any more. Portions are good size, the service was good and the atmosphere so nice and happy! Worth a visit!

What an amazing Mexican restaurant. We have just returned here and had a wonderful meal. We came here two years ago and had the same experience great food great entertainment and excellent service. I definitely recommend stopping here for a meal when you are visiting Nerja. The staff are extremely friendly and good fun they also have traditional Spanish/Mexican music performed and to serenade you at times during the evening. The authentic Mexican food is amazing and you get plenty of it at a very reasonable price. The decor is amazing inside this lovely building not far from the main square in Nerja. I give them five stars all the way ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely amazing experience! We got a table outside and were immediately welcomed by the super friendly staff. This was by far the best margarita I’ve ever had — perfectly balanced and so refreshing. The food was incredibly tasty, full of rich and authentic flavors. The place itself is beautifully and authentically decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Everyone was so kind, not just with us but with all the guests around — you can tell they genuinely care. They’re also very tourist-friendly and speak English, which makes the whole experience even more comfortable if you’re visiting from abroad. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Nerja. It’s a gem! 🌮🍹

Fuimos a cenar. Tenían problemas de personal, no cogían a gente aún teniendo mesas libres. El camarero nos dijo que esperásemos un poco y a los 20 min pudimos comer. El camarero se disculpo y fue agradable. El sitio está muy chulo y la comida no está mal, aunque hemos probado mexicanos más auténticos.

La decoración es muy bonita y muy de México. Pedimos unos nachos y estaban muy buenos. Sobraba un poco de queso porque ponía los nachos blandos. El burrito estaban bueno pero le faltaba salsa y picaba mucho para mi gusto. El margarita estaba muy fuerte.

Restaurante de comida mejicana en el centro de Nerja. Tematizado típico mejicano, el servicio excelente, todo muy rico y gran cantidad. Relación calidad precio 👍, los postres y presentaciones muy bien. El lugar es muy agradable tanto para comer en familia como en pareja. Celebramos el 15 cumpleaños de mi hija allí porque fuimos de viaje y genial.

El ambiente es auténtico y acogedor, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún mejor. Pero lo que realmente me dejó sin palabras fue la quesadilla, simplemente deliciosa. La cantidad de comida que sirven es más que suficiente, y lo mejor de todo es que el precio es bastante razonable. Si buscas auténtica comida mexicana con ambiente y una buena relación calidad-precio, es muy recomendable.

We had a great experience at this Mexican restaurant, and the food was very good everything we tried was delicious and well prepared. The margarita was amazing, and my friend said it was the best margarita he’s ever had. On top of that, our waiter, Tony, was super nice, very attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. He checked in on us without being intrusive and really paid attention to all our needs. At the end, he even offered to take pictures of us with some hats, which was a really fun and memorable touch. We definitely recommend this restaurant, and if you come here, ask for Tony he’s a fantastic server and makes the experience even better.

We had antojitos cielito lindo, nachips and borritos de carne (chicken). The food was amazing. It came out right away (we were there at around 7pm) and the ambience was really nice. The only thing that was not so great was the service. There was an unnecessary language barrier which still leaves me confused. There were waitresses who were really sweet and they were able to speak and understand english. But for some reason after one of the girls took our order, our server changed to a guy and he was not able to communicate with us. When we wanted to pay, we said we would pay separately. One with card one with cash. He said it wasnt possible so I said i would pay everything in cash then. He said okay. When i took the cash out he said it wasnt possible?? It was just a miscommunication. At the end of the day something like this is harmless so i’m not mad about it, its just that this could have been easily avoided by just keeping our previous server, the girl, and would have saved our time and his’.

Fantastic looking place, good ambience and atmosphere but sadly the food was basic, bland and without any spices that Mexican food is known for. The menu said the chicken wings would be crispy but they were soggy, with just a squirt of barbecue sauce from a bottle on them, the fajitas were just pieces of chicken and peppers with nothing in the way of extra flavour. Very disappointed. May have been the chefs night off because I am sure that after all the effort to create such an atmospheric place the owner would not really want to put out such poor food.

We've checked some comments on trip advisor before and most of them mentioned that portions are small and too expensive. Based on that we took a starter and 2 mains for share. And all were impressive. A bit expensive, indeed, but big enough. Starter with cheese and chorizo baked in tortilla was awesome. Flautas also very good, but chili con carne very average, a bit disappointing for us, seasoned, but without any mexican feeling. All in all place is worth to visit, very nice inside and with professional friendly staff, good food. I would give it a strong 3.5 stars, but not possible here, unfortunately.

Solo pasamos por bebidas, el lugar está bonito decorado, pedimos un Tom Collins que apenas tenía Ginebra, era más como una limonada, por 9€ le podrían poner más alcohol para que sea en si un cocktail.

Mala experiencia, el camarero alto con gafas prepotente y pasaba de nosotros, tardaron en tomarnos las bebidas más de media hora y solo trae la mitad, la otra mitad de las bebidas no lo trae cuando hemos comido medio plato, la comida buena si no fuera que a final de comer nos damos cuenta que tenía un insecto, no dijimos nada por no liarla, en la cuenta nos cobran platos y bebidas que no trajeron, soy cocinero y crítico gastronómico y no he visto nada igual, pondré todos los detalles de este restaurante en mi página de tiktok: conocemundo

We had a very disappointing experience. After being seated, we waited 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. We even asked if we could at least get drinks while deciding on food, but that didn’t help much. Once we placed our order, it took another 40 minutes and the food came out wrong three times. This wasn’t a language issue; the staff simply didn’t seem to care. One of the servers wore pink heavy-duty cleaning gloves while handling food and drinks, as she simultaneously cleaned the table which felt very unhygienic. When we politely pointed out the incorrect order especially since it involved food allergies the response was dismissive and rude. We definitely not coming back nor recommending this place ever.
