Have been eating here regularly lately and recommend. Breakfast and lunch plates have been good with friendly staff. They have breakfast all day!

Great tacos, and very fast. I ordered 15 tacos and they were ready in 10 minutes, faster than I could drive there. Really like the verde sauce..

This place is the best Mexican restaurant ive ever went in years! The service lady's are very very friendly, easy to strike a conversation, and Very respectful. The food overall was amazing it a miracle to have this restaurant.

Awesome food and very friendly service! We had the omelette with sausage that came with refried beans and potatoes, a big bowl of Menudo, and two barbacoa tacos, all with corn tortillas. The tortillas were hand made and to die for. Everything was amazing! Our waitress, Alice, is the owners aunt and she was the sweetest, most attentive person. I felt like her happiness was contagious. She told me her nephew was in the kitchen doing the cooking. She called to him in the kitchen to say that we loved the food and everyone in the kitchen waved! My wife and I left with full hearts and bellies!

I had a barbacoa taco, tripa taco, and menudo. The food was fresh and delicious! Definitely going to be a new favorite for me as a new New Braunfels resident. The service was excellent!

The charro beans were perfect and the rice was sensational. Everything had a true tejano flavor that brought back child memories of what you remember good food tasted like. Very hard to find these days. The service was extremely friendly. Wish I lived closer but we definitely will make this our new pit stop back and forth from now on.

El Tejano #2 is a Good place to eat Tex-Mex. Servers r really sweet. Once in awhile they forget "cilantro and onions for my Barbacoa tacos to go" Food is yummy n tortillas are good. Clean n spacious. Unlike El Tejano #1. Yuk...I wouldn't go there. 😆

The owners recently shut down El Tejano #1 and their entire staff is now working here. Attention to detail should be focused on delivering a quality product of the kitchen. Maybe it was just a bad mole day?

Great little place for some great food. Did breakfast ther twice this weekend and it didn't disappoint. Service was great and fast. Loved it.

Service has gone downhill the last couple months compared to the last couple years. It’s a shame. Really good food.

Food was pretty good, its a little pricey but over all I think worth it. We seemed a little rushed by the server though. We just wanted to enjoy our $50 breakfast.

I had the burrito special for lunch and it was just "okay" and nothing to brag about for $10. Price is kinda normal for what I'm use to buying tacos from my hometown but usually they would have more food in the taco. The Carne Guisada is sub par. the cheese is very minimum in each taco. For the Price it shouldn't be this much.

I always come to this place but this time not good food at all. I got the steak a la mexicana and the meat was to 🧂. I couldn't eat it because of my health. My husband got the carne guisada with gravy and the meat was hard. I guess they had a different cook very disappointed ☹️

Must be under new management tacos are a lot smaller orders are always wrong now I just order I just ordered 3 beef fajita tacos tacos n got 3 ground beef with lettuce n tomato falling thru wet paperbag smh

Our waitress was beautiful and very kind; however, several aspects of our dining experience were concerning. A woman dragging a mop bucket around did not wash her hands before handling two customers' their plates,. The portions of our food were small. I ordered a quesadilla plate, which contained approximately one slice of fajita-style meat and cheese that appeared to be spoiled. The rice was the only palatable component. The flour tortillas were overcooked and crunchy. The guacamole was overly tangy due to excessive lime or lemon juice. The Agua Fresca did not taste like a fresh fruit drink; instead, it seemed to be a powdered mix, similar to Kool-Aid. This was our second visit to the establishment. During our first visit, I ordered the Chicharron with a large Menudo, but left feeling hungry. We had to purchase tacos from another restaurant after leaving. The prices are relatively high considering the quality and quantity of food offered. We spent approximately $37. The food is mediocre. I am providing an honest assessment for the benefit of potential customers and in the hope that the restaurant will make improvements. The prices are not accurately reflected on their menu, and a small sticky note on the front of the menu indicates that some prices have been adjusted, but they fail to specify which prices have been altered.
