R.I.P. Pop. You put new roc on the map Sicilain slice best in westchester. And possibly the world. GOOEY. Although I've heard of other slice joints that serve a good sicilian, this one is always on point. Puffy crust that makes you want to dip in a soufflet cup of olive oil (which i regret to say ive asked for. They graciously indulged me). Great sauce too.

The sauce is always just the right amount and has a wonderful ripe tomato flavor. The cheese doesn't take over the pie but is ample and melted to perfection. The pizza was excellent. The slice size and preparation of the pizza was on point. The service not so much. As a Black Man I'm very observant to the way im treated when I walk into any establishment. And im pretty good at detecting whether or not im really welcomed in certain places. I definitely didnt feel welcomed in this place. My work partner also shared this view which confirmed that I wasn't overreacting. All we could say was money is money. They took our money but you could tell they didnt want to serve us. To share what it was like, imagine walking into a place where you can see everyone smiling and talking to each other. As soon as you walking,......silence! No one looks happy. No one looks like they want to be there. That was the vibe. Maybe I'll give it another try just to see if this is the norm. Maybe not.
