Service is fast and food is delicious. Love that they offer healthier options for adults and children. Salads are very fresh. Great price for a family of four with 2 little ones. Have high chairs to accommodate inside. Would definitely recommend!

The cashier was a great person don't know her name but she no more than 20 years old she seems very smart and knows how to deal with customers.. And I have noticed her multi tasking as if it's in he genetics. Really nice person in my eyes I've watched her do the register and came out to clean the tables /day shift. I went for breakfast today. Was pleasantly surprised through breakfast is quite good. And the lady at the drive-thru was very nice and friendly for it being so early in the morning. The company's lucky to have someone as nice and pleasant working for them great customer service thank you!

Absolutely love the host Brayan, tonight he had the exact energy I didnt know i needed from the drive thru host. I was at the end of my work day- tired, hungry, and mentally a little shot. I pulled up and Brayan had such a positive attitude and energy in his voice on the speaker, and it maintained at the window. He was polite, professional, positive, and just fantastic.

I’m passing through town, was hungry, saw this restaurant, so I popped in for dinner. Good choice! The staff were super nice and the food was very tasty and came up quick. They fed me good and got me right back on my way with a smile on my face!

A solid wendy's. Rarely gets my order wrong. I feel like the fast part of fast food has suffered. But not sure if that is an adequate gripe at this time. Food is an average speed once I get to place my order.

Nice people and great service. The only problem was I ordered through the app and tried to get a sausage burrito which they didn't have so they offered to replace it with a sandwich. I asked for a classic bacon, egg, and cheese but got a sausage, egg, and cheese.

I've always had a good experience here. The drive thru takes no longer than any other place and if it is backed up I'll go inside and beat the crowd that way. The food is ok . It's fast food but a little better than most places. I do like their chili. The salads are pretty good too.

The cashier took my order properly. I ordered a salad without cheese, but the person who prepared the salad added the cheese. When I mentioned it to the person she removed the chicken from the cheese and put it on another plain salad. However, there still could have been remnants of the cheese left on the chicken. I think that she should have made an entirely new salad.

I like Wendy's great food and salads. I notice the cashier was unusually hipper. She took my order while whipping the counter and yelling at the same time who was next and wearing a head set. I think something was wrong because she was really sweating.

The food is usually good but the drive thru takes forever and double check your order before you leave, mine is often wrong. How hard is it to put cheese on chili? They also insisted they don't sell unsweetened ice tea one time....

Disappointed today with Wendy's. Nothing big but a lot of little things that added up quickly to be an inconvenience. The drive thru was very polite but slow. Frosty not available- maybe machine is down? I am not sure They forgot to give me a straw, condiments, and napkins. Normally I wouldn't care but in a car with a toddler those things are certainly helpful to have when on the go. I also had my fries upsidedown dumped throughout the bag. I am hoping they are just having an off day.

Before, you could expect such prompt service from this location with greatbfood and service, but simce the Spring, the weekday evening staff can't seem to handle the slightest inflix in traffic at the drive thru and in the diningroom. Tonight, there are 2 family's before me who have ben waiting quite some time and I am waitimg 15 mimutes. Last time, the same wait im the drove thru meant that our food was cold by the time we got to the window.

The burger, fries, lemonade, and frosty were standard. The service was also solid. But the chicken sandwich I got was inedible. The components all tasted a little funny and the chicken had an odd, rubbery texture. I could only eat about 3 bites before I almost completely lost my appetite.

I really want to give this location 5 stars, but daytime service versus nighttime service, well, is literally day and night. Daytime everything goes smooth and I've never had a negative interaction and the drive-thru is the very definition of FAST food. Nighttime, however, is a whole different story. I've been to this location maybe a half dozen times at night and quite literally every single time I've had to wait over 20 min before even reaching the drive-thru speaker, let alone getting my food. The nighttime staff even gave my mobile order to the wrong person, and a staff member said "this was already picked up"! I recognize fast food employees make next to nothing, so I try not to be critical, but I'm not sure what's going on at this store. Wendy's is usually superior to this!

I drove up to this Wendy's at night (8:30pm). The food was good and the service was also BUT the workers (3 ) came out to a car parked in front of us to hang out and listen to music with the person in the car who smelled to be smoking something other than cigarettes. Definitely not professional look for the business as I was leaving which led to my rating. I would like to stress that I have been to this location MANY times and typically have no problem but I have seen a decline in professionalism here which caused me to question how food may be handled.

It's now $13 for an extra value meal and they still can't make a sandwich right. Fast food is a joke. Got a spicy chicken and they couldn't even be bothered to put mayo on it. Ordered a chicken sandwich and they gave me a double burger. It's like playing food roulette or worse, just throwing money away on garbage. Pumpkin frosty is bomb tho.

This is the worst Wendy's ever. Soggy fries, rudest employees ever. Have waited for 20 minutes for food. Just when I thought it this place couldn't get any worse they call you a liar when they forget your food. This place is The Worst Wendy's ever. My kids call this the crappy Wendy's. Worst run fast food place ever. Ghetto thugs who do not care a damn about you or their job. Go to the Wendy's on route 300. Even our 6 year old can tell the difference. They forgot a dollar sandwich and refused to give it to us and the drive thru girl called me a liar. Oct 16 2013. Save your time , money, sanity, and go to sonic, bk, anywhere but here. Bathroom is disgusting and has tons of flies and fruit fly s. Unclean... even my kids asked why there are so many flies. Tables never wiped down. Very sanitary.

Bad experience. Sign on credit card reader sez machine not working so cash only. That is ok if it happens once in awhile, thats business. The not working sign appeared to have been there for months. Soda machine not working but more expensive drinks eere offrred. Out of menu items!!!!!!! Where is the owner??. Wendys has always been a step above the other fast food restaurants. My first and last visit to this one.

This location is getting dated and could use a refresh. While the food is usually fresh by Wendy's standards do NOT go to the drive thru especially on weekends. They are notoriously slow. They take the 'fast' out of fast food.

Spent the first 15 minutes online with two people in front of me, then spent another 10 minutes watching the only cashier go and get all the food. Crazy inefficient especially at lunchtime. There was one person making all the burgers fries and nuggets, and only one cashier taking one order at a time and then filling the order herself. I've never seen anything like this at a fast food place. One person should be taking orders, and there should be a person behind them filling the orders. Fast food it is not! Three people online behind me gave up and walked out

The tables were all dirty, and there was nobody in the restaurant; NO EXCUSES. They got my mother's order wrong, and the food was not as hot as it should've been, for being "freshly prepared." The grill had not been cleaned off in quite a while, proven by all the chunky black bits all over the bottom of the burger. The fries were soggy bc someone removed them from the fryer, and hung them over the oil. There didn't seem to be a manager around, either. Definitely not the best burger joint experience. Cold food, filthy atmosphere. I doubt we'll be back.

A drive thru experience is suppose to be quick and easy but waiting 15+ minutes everytime I come here it ridiculous!! And when I tell the person "No Mayo" on the burger twice and he says "ok I got you" and when I get home and my sandwich has mayo on it really pisses me off!! That has happened more than once. And when I pull up to the window the guy only heard one meal and I had to wait again for my second meal 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I was picking up to deliver for Uber and normally before 10:00pm the request per all stores is you go inside and pick the orders at the counter. Well walked in and I waited for 5 minutes just for someone to acknowledge I was standing there not anyone who was behind the counter came to say goodbye lease wait a few minutes nothing. It was one of the employees who just finished cleaning the bathrooms who came and helped me with the order I was waiting on the pick up. That took another 5 minutes.

Food is good. It just so annoying when they keep getting your orders wrong. I always order spicy chicken sandwich and they almost always give me regular chicken sandwich. Last time I did a delivery and they forgot my frosty. On top of that they were not even sorry or acknowledge their mistake. Their literal response was, "okay and.." and that comment was made by the manager. This is my first complain after their repeated mistake of wrong orders

2 stars because the food was not terrible, it was your average Wendy's meal. However the staff needs to go. I was there on a Wednesday afternoon the cashier was extremely rude (possibly the rudest I've ever been treated at a Wendy's, and for no reason). The manager did not care, at all. This individual treated customers before and after me the same way. Both her and the manager need some serious training or need to be replaced.

Service here is always slow. My food came out luke warm borderline cold. The burger was chewy and not juicy. The staff brought me the wrong order and argued with me about saying it was right despite me having the order on my screen. The person had an "I don't care attitude" and when the manager I requested came out his attitude was not much better. He didn't even know that mobile orders are offered to be picked up at the drive through and insisted all mobile orders have to be picked up inside. Not sure how that's possible when the door to the inside were locked. When I was a kid I used to love this Wendy's location but it has gone so far downhill it may never recover

i ordered 4 items and all 4 items were made improperly. my chicken nuggets were made spicy as opposed to the regular i ordered, my sandwich was covered in mayo, though i specifically asked for none because i’m allergic, and my drink wasn’t brought out. additionally, i ordered medium fries (along with my combo) and i was given small instead. i understand it’s fast food, but it’s frustrating nonetheless. my receipt looks like a completely different order. the night shift is subpar.

The staff seem like they don't care about service in the least almost every time I visit this Wendy's. The wait is usually crazy and I often order very easy meals. Waiting 15 minutes at the drive-thru window to get a chicken nuggets combo makes no sense even if you had to cook the whole thing and had nothing ready.

Morning and afternoon crew are always on point working extra . But that crew after 6 p.m is the worst no matter if you do the window or walk in to the restaurant they work so slow and get the orders wrong. Everytime and I am not exaggerating, everytime I have been to the New Windsor location, I have been told that they are out of various menu items. They have been out of at various times chicken, hamburgers, coke, fries, salads, and baked potatoes. Don't even try to go inside to eat, unless you have an air mask so you can breath, the entire store is always full of smoke. I am finally at the point of NEVER going to this location again. I have tried about once a month to see if things have changed, but sadly it hasn't.

I decided to give it another chance, never again!! I ordered a baconanter it’s basically just 2 hamburgers on a bun with one slice of bacon cut up. The fry’s are ice cold, it’s just a waste of 10$. The kid working the counter wasn’t paying attention to what I was saying he was to busy talking with the people behind me.

Went to drive through at 11 PM. Staff had no clue as to what they were doing. Waited about 15 minutes at the window after I paid, and they still got the order wrong. Not to mention burger was cold, fries soggy. Definitely not as advertised.

Worst fast food place I have ever been. I ordered drinks and didn't get ice and when I asked for ice I was told that the machine is broken. They didn't have sour cream either for my cheese fries. Just as I was going to request a refund the registers went down. Burger was too hard.

Horrible. There’s always a long line, employees are so rude. Then when you finally wait 20 minutes to pay you have to wait longer for the food to be ready for it to be cold. This is unacceptable. The McDonald’s on Vails Gate should train them on adequate service.

It was complete chaos at this Wendy's drive thru. I made my order, then sat on line for about 13mins to finally get to the window to be told that they didnt have what i originally ordered and then had to move up, park my car and wait an EXTRA 20mins. No sorry for the inconvenience, no apologies what so ever. Management needs to step it up and come down on these employees. For the amount of time i waited i was better off eating in an actual restaurant. Stay clear of this place. That was only one of the two bad experiences i had there.

This is the second time I've had a bad experience at this Wendy's. The woman working the drive though gave us attitude when we ordered and yawned when we asked for our total. Then proceeded to give us attitude when we paid. She also gave an older man infront of us attitude as well. Enough to the point that he drove away. We will not be returning.

I would rate this 0 stars if I could. To anyone who goes here: BEWARE. This establishment will give you cold food and look at you like you have 3 heads after they give it to you, when you come back in search of any kind of warmer food. The cashier guy acts like he doesn’t even work there and you’re bothering him for a favor. For as long as I live, I will not be returning here. Not if it were the last place on Earth with food and water and shelter. I am disgusted with what I experienced tonight and I hope that those responsible for their actions receive consequences. This Wendy's in the most slowest Wendy's I have ever EVER been to. Every time I come here there is a line nearly out the door and they have this poor older woman here taking orders, putting the food on the trays, making drinks and practically managing the front by herself. There's two registers but only one is ever open. The drive thru would be your best bet for this locations. They also tend to mess up orders very often. It is just completely slow here. Don't come here on your lunch break because you will be waiting in line for 15-20 minutes maybe more like I was. Many people come in and then leave.

This has to be the worst wendy's I have ever been to. Went there last night the menu board was dark. I waited in the line for over 35 minutes. I was buying for someone else or I would have left. The guy at the window was rude. This is the third time I has an issue last time I just walked out after waiting 20 minutes without an acknowledgement that I was there. I go to other wendy's. Never an issue. I won't be going back to this one

I understand McDonald's is closed in the area, so overflow goes to Wendy's and Burger King, but this Wendy's is ridiculous. It was going down hill prior to McDonald's closing. There was a fried bug in my French Fries!! Drive thru, waited 20 minutes to be told "we are out of chicken patties". The dining room is full of smoke, to the point you can't breathe. Disgusting, gross. Employees are polite. Needs new management!!

I agree the drive through sucks, I once waited about 30 minutes to get a double baconator and they only had one hamburger patty left by the time I was served, and the employee's were noticeably stressed out. We got to hear yelling and chaos through the window rather than a warm greeting. Not a good experience.

They Need To Do Something To Improve The Service At This Location, Or Just Shut It Down. I Hardly Ever See Any Real Traffic Going Through There, And After Going Through There 2 Mornings In A Row, It Is Not Hard To See Why. You Can Hear Employees In The Background, Talking And Laughing Far Too Loud While The Customer Is Trying To Place An Order, So You Have To Repeat Yourself. Yesterday, I Was Denied A Breakfast Item Because It Was Too Late, And Today, I Arrived Earlier And Was Denied The Same Item Because There Was "No More", But It Seemed More Like They Didn't Want To Take The Time To Provide The Item...There Needs To A Strong Manager On Site Who Is Not Afraid To Make Sure People Are Doing Their Jobs Effectively. Trust Me, I Will Not Bother Going There Again, With The Way Things Are Now.

Absolutely horrible service! I went to order breakfast at the drive thru and this person was such a mumbling mess my dad couldn't hear her so he asked her to speak up because he's also hard of hearing being a Vietnam veteran and all, and she gave him the worst attitude. "You're gonna have to pull up!" My dad said "Did you get my order?" She screams "YES I GOT YOUR ORDER!!!" We had enough of this treatment and just went to Taco Bell. My dad was so annoyed with this unprofessional piece of work he lost his appetite. THANKS WENDYS! Now I got to write the district manager.

This particular Wendy's is practically as slow as the Popeyes down the street. Not as slow. But pretty damn slow. 10 minutes waiting for an order that was placed 20 minutes in advance of arrival. The workers be just staring at the screen like they can't read. Idk why I bother coming here.

Perfect example of the owner(s) or share holders not putting money back into business, place is outdated, no up keep. Walked in and smoke filled the entire place. Left smelling like food. Place was dirty, flies, garbage over flowed. Who runs out of COKE and SPRITE.... Place needs to be inspected. Employees were nice and friendly. NOT THEIR FAULT.. but Will not be going back. I work in the neighborhood, so I've been going to this Wendy's for almost two decades now. At first it was pretty good. Then the service gradually started going downhill, although it's been up and down over the years. It's rare that they're very friendly though. The prices have skyrocketed over the past few years while the quality of the food has gone downhill. I've had enough decent experiences to keep me coming back now and then for a quick meal, but I order from them a lot less often than I used to. I've had a lot of issues at this location over the last few years, including: -finding a medium sized live bug crawling around in my salad -waiting almost a half hour to place and receive a to-go order -receiving a frosty the other day that wasn't even close to full. -many times receiving a cold junior cheeseburger deluxe that seemed like it was just pulled out of a refrigerator. I no longer order most of my formerly favorite items on the menu, including the junior cheeseburger deluxe (always cold), any salad (the bug incident), or chicken nuggets (the price gradually went from a quarter to almost a dollar per chicken nugget over the past ten years or so). I have seen this Wendys location, as well as the company in general, really go downhill over the years. I think my biggest issue is the huge increase in price combined with a decrease in the quality of the food.

I used to come here all the time when I was a little kid with my family and it was really nice. I ordered dinner to treat myself tonight (august 2023) and quite literally every single item was incorrect. I ordered a 6pc regular nugget and received spicy and I asked for barbecue and got none, even though I paid for extra. I ordered a chocolate frosty and I got strawberry?!?! I didn’t even know they sold that. Even when I pick up food for my mom I’m always told to pull forward even though she usually just gets a single sandwich and a drink?!?! Probably the slowest “fast food” I’ve ever been to. The lot should be bulldozed.

I had to give one star for a review. The person on the intercom rushed me as I ordered I was asked to park up to wait for crispy chicken when I got my order it was completely wrong i had to go inside to get it corrected and I got home and things were still wrong my fries were cold and I had a cup full of ice. No straws in the bag and those are just some of my complaints! They are horrible.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They are super rude for no reason and completely sound like they hate their job I’ve come with my family and the amount of attitude these people gave me for no reason was absurd.. the manager herself was super rude too for no reason. Definitely won’t be coming back here due to the lack of respect for our community. Definitely need a whole New staff in there fr cuz the ones in there really don’t seem to be happy.

The late afternoon/night shift is terribly unprofessional and aggressive towards each other and the customers. Both of my orders recently were wrong, food was room temperature … no napkins, sauce, or utensils given and when you notice something missing they say they ran out. It worth the extra 15 min drive to the Wendy’s in Newburgh which ive never had a problem there.

If you like waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru with 3 cars come here. Legit takes them 9 minutes per order. (I counted) Based on all the same previous reviews with the same issue, the manager here should clearly be re-trained or fired.

I visited the drive through after 2pm on September 24th and my order was small...the girl that took my order was rude and didnt seemed to want to be working...never told me how much my order was she was in a whole personal conversation while taking my card for payment with two other workers one who seemed to be a manager! She(the girl who took my order) told the other girl here give this bag to her!!! And continued in the personal conversation neither addressed me at anytime and seemed to be hanging out rather working..as far as their actions....very horrible customer service!!!!

Don't ever go here if you're in a hurry. Guarantee an hour wait in the drive through. Doors close at 6pm for the lobby so good luck on trying to get any help from an employee if your order is wrong once you leave the drive thru. Also, another thing... you're more than likely going to get an incorrect order. Employees are very polite and are trying their best due to short staff but this is ridiculous to have to wait an hour in a drive thru line. (By the time your second to the pick up window you're still waiting another 20 minutes to be next)

I don't write reviews for fast food but this was the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. Messed up my order twice in a row. And everyone employee here hates their job. They obviously hate the customer for asking to correct a mistake. You can see it in their faces, their body language, their attitude. Makes me worried about the food and then correcting mistakes.

How the chocolate milk gonna be warmer then the burger. Always an issue here, thought it was like a one time thing but this is the third time the food has just been horrible, even for fast food. My online order was not ready, waited over 20 minutes when I put order in and store not busy. I just canceled and drove a block to a MickyD that was very busy and still was fast. A tale of two fast food franchises that close by when one is super busy and the other dead.

20-30 min wait time? For a drive-thru for two cars ahead of me? On top of the 15 mins I spent waiting in line before I even got to the speaker? Come on. I get it gets busy but to wait 45 mins for a drive thru? Def not coming here again made me late getting back to work from my break.

I had asked for ketchup when I placed order. Upon leaving window I realized no ketchup. It took 7 minutes to get back to drive up window. I told cashier fries were not hot but burger was okay. All she did was dump ketchup packets on the cold fries. I sat the bag and drink on the counter and said I didn't want it. The manager immediately said I threw it at the girl. The manager needs help with customer service. I feel bad for the next person that ordered a number 1.

Service was awful. In line over 20 minutes. Only waited because I really wanted the jalapeno chicken sandwich. Had 1 cashier who obviously was having a bad day and decided to take it out on the customers. The other sandwich was the buttermilk ranch and the tomato slices were the end pieces so they just slid off. The lettuce was barely there. I did give 1 star for the jalapeno chicken. It didn't look pretty,but I must say,it was delicious.

My son took me for lunch we got 2 Dave's meal, chicken nuggets, drinks, our hamburgers were cold , fries cold, it definitely was not a good quality of beef. If we didn't do take out I would have brought the meals back !!!!!!

Let me just start off by saying this was the most disgusting and unprofessional service and food i’ve ever put in my mouth. lady who took my order was very disrespectful, and as i pulled up to the window to get my food she was stoned off of weed. you can smell it through the drive through window. let me just say this place needs to find a better staff or needs to close this place down. my entire order was messed up and completely disgusting causing me to waste $30 dollars. i will never return and i hope this company or owner finds this review. action needs to be taken effective immediately!

Unreasonably slow whether you go inside or the drive-thru. You walk in and it doesn't looked like anyone is working they're all hiding in the back. The place is always messy, no napkins, no cup lids. Even just getting drink cups takes 20 minutes because no one is up front. The drink dispenser is always out of pretty much every option except basic sodas.

So slow you’d think it was one person working the back. They gave up on the register but the kiosk glitches. WALK IN VERY SLOWLY, the floor is extremely slippery. God forbid they forget something you’ll be waiting another 30 minutes because they don’t acknowledge the customers at all. And no one speaks english luckily I know a little to communicate. TERRIBLE

The owner of Wendy’s in Vails Gate Should be ashamed of him or herself. The food is absolutely disgusting. The staff is completely incompetent. The premises is utterly filthy. I took my daughter and her friend there after soccer practice today at 11:30… It was over $10 apiece, almost everything we ordered was incorrect… What we got was absolutely disgusting. They were not busy, no one was eating inside, and no one was behind me in the drive-through, and the manager seemed to take it personally when I wanted to exchange what they gave me for what I actually ordered. When fast food for three people is over $40; I think most people would expect it to be what they asked for and paid for. This has to be the worst service in the fast food industry no matter how many chances I give this place they never seem to get it right. Service is super slow. Why should I have to leave the drive thru because no one is there to receive my order. So pull around to the front and order inside and it’s even worst. Takes 25 mins for my order of a kids meal 4 piece nugget to get to me. Never ever will I come back here. Maybe it doesn’t matter to the owners and if that is so they shouldn’t own this location. They need to train all the employees starting with the managers. It trickles down from the top to the bottom.

I can't believe this Wendy's got a remodel to fill it with horrible employees who lack customer service. They are never nice and always having conversations at the drive through so their attention isn't on the customer at the window. I stopped going because every time I got food, something was almost, always missing. If I'm already home, who wants to keep driving back when they should've paid attention the first time.I work in customer service so I understand how nasty people can be, but that's why I'm always nice to whoever is helping me. But they are just rude at vails gate Wendy's!

Made me pull up forward for my order to improve their Speed of service and forgot about me for 20 minutes. Walked in and they were gossiping I had to flag someone down and when he brought a employee that could speak English she was visually upset that I interrupted her gossiping and handed my my cold bag of food without saying a word. By far the slowest and worst Wendy's I've been to. They make everyone pull forward to keep their window times down. There was already a car pulled up waiting, so I had to go around them to wait in front of them. Their staff is constantly using expletives directly in front of customers, non-stop expletive gossip. When the employee finally brought my food up to my car, (which was only a burger and nuggets), he didn't say a word, just held his hand out with my food from behind my window, so I had to reach out behind the window opening to actually retrieve my food, and didn't even say a word. They didn't give me any BBQ sauce, (I had asked for one extra, I got none) Both my burger and nuggets were cold, which if I had to wait for my food, why would it be cold? This was 2:40pm 7/7/22. They need a whole staff overhaul here, or at least cut the cursing and be attentive to their customers and provide the quick, quality service we expect from Wendy's.

Worst fast food place in the area, Super slow! Waited 40 mins for a mobile order thru the drive thru. This place is an embarrassment. This is not a one time deal either, last 3-4 times have all been the same and this is the evening shift, can’t say anything about the day shift. And yes that is a piece of paper inside my sandwhich…. This place is awful!
