I LOVE BROADWAY AU LAIT
The expresso is the best
Great vegetarian options.
Nice little cafe.
nice börek
Always extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. Great place to do some light studying over good food and coffee!
A great place to pick up lunch! Love the tabouleh, stuffed grape leaves and avocado salad. Everything is so flavorful and fresh.
Great soups. Always nice people working there. Lots and lots of tea options.
Great little place. I like that there are plenty of vegetarian options. They have a seating area to the side. The service is excellent.
The place where I will be very proud to bring my friends who visit morning-side heights very first time: Just a black iced coffee + a whole wheat bagel toasted with cream cheese.
Amazing Baklava and dolmas!! I'll be back <3
Love this place! The middle eastern platter is excellent and my daughters love the cookies
Gentle, generous staff made a lovely cup of hot chocolate with a side of baklava.
I love this place. They have great coffee and baklava
Very cute place, great food and absolutely amazing baggels!
Great lentil soup and taboolie salad. Friendly staff
Such nice people. Delicious baklava.
Delicious breakfast
The lox and the bagel were excellent. I opted for tomato and onion, which detracted from it for me. Just lox and cream cheese would have been better imo. Very friendly service.
I never post reviews, but I had to after seeing a negative comment here, because I love this place. The atmosphere, the food, the people, everything about this place so genuine, and it oozes of middle eastern cozy vibes. This place makes me feel so at home, and I love talking to the owner and cashier. Their thick chai latte, sweet honey baklava, and the savory spinach quiche are my top favorites but you can’t go wrong ordering anything on the menu here because it’s made with much love ❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely love this place! I got a big order to cater a party/picnic, and I’m so glad I went to Broadway au Lait. The food was absolutely delicious, and the workers there were so kind and careful about packing it in boxes to make it easy to carry for us. Very reasonably priced, and very friendly people. Highly recommend!
Sometimes you need a small, dimly lit cafe with somewhat sticky tables. It's probably the only one of its kind left in Manhattan
I rarely leave reviews, but this has been a go-to-place since my arrival in New York. The owners and employee are welcoming while having relatively affordable options of drinks and meals.
The people who work here are so great to my kids, they are attentive and patient to little ones who are getting comfortable ordering and paying for their own things. Its very nice and rare to find this! It's a great coffee, bagel muffin type place, casual/not fancy but there's always a place to sit and people watch.
I hadn’t been in this nabe for a long time, and was so happy to see they’re still here! wonderful vegetarian options, decent coffee and a chill seating area. old-skool. keep up the great work Bway Au Lait!
I love this place. It’s simple yet the food’s so damn tasty. The bagels are awesome and the servers are generous with the cream cheese spreads. There are many healthy vegetarian or Mediterranean options like salads, falafel, and burritos. Great place for a quick bite or take out.
One of my favorite restaurants in Morningside Heights! I love all their food, especially fish fillet sandwich and bagel with lox. The owner and the cashiers are always super friendly :)
The best egg salad sandwich I've had in years. All the salads and pastries I've tasted are fresh and delicious, particularly the Greek salad, tabbouleh, and babaganoush. I highly recommend the Middle Eastern platter.
Delicious affordable food, lots of vegan options, incredible home made baclava, and great coffee. My favorite place to grab a quick lunch! I recommend the avocado pita 😊
The greatest place! What a gem Intimate & inviting space. The staff are all wonderful and pleasant. Most importantly..DELICIOUS, authentic Mediterranean cuisine

Nice vibe with a room on the side to sit and eat
Cozy little shop with great value and pretty good lunch food. Try the Middle Eastern platter!
Good middle eastern veggie salads . great coffee.
I really love baklava with honey and café au lait. They are very delicious and affordable. Highly recommended!

A step above your average deli, this establishment focuses on vegetarian offerings, and good coffee. Their iced coffee is a real treat, especially when paired with the baklava. Their falafel is reliable as well.

Buenos precios pero la atención debe mejorar
It's a nice place with good coffe. But blakava it costs 3 dollars and it's so small. Ask for colombian coffe. It's the best just for 1,85
Had some take out once...was pretty good. Tried to stop by again recently with my wife and kid...but no high chairs. Disappointing. Will give a more in-depth review later as we now live down the street and will definitely order here again in the future.

The cashier was rude and the baklava was not only bland; it had something that looked like walnuts in it but definitely wasn't. The spinach pie was edible. The interior was like a dingy subway. Oh and just FYI; it's vegetarian only except for fish

The service is absolutely awful. I strongly recommend people checking it out if they wanna experience rude service and short tempers of the bartender. Absolutely the worst. No customers inside but they still ask you to leave rudely just because you sit over 45 minutes. Come on, it requires EQ to do business.
Very rude service. We were seated at 4pm in an almost empty café, and after about 30 minutes the staff started pressuring us to leave because “people would come to eat.” Apparently there is a 45 minute limit, but it was never communicated and they were extremely rude about it. Not a place where you can calmly enjoy a coffee and talk.
I went to buy hot chocolate and ended up getting a snack. Everything was going well until the cashier became very rude and aggressive towards me when she saw that I had a sandwich (bread and cheese) from home. I apologized and asked if they served the sandwich there so that I could buy it, but she was still aggressive and uncooperative. This experience left me with no choice but to leave the store, feeling disappointed and disheartened.
I've visited twice. Both times I was rudely asked to leave within minutes of ordering, despite the place being completely empty. Do not come here expecting to have a conversation with a friend over coffee--no matter how brief!
