Avis sur Charm Thai Express New York
The service is very friendly. Not a place to sit and eat, mostly for pickup and takeout. Food was good. Highly recommend drunken noodles and red curry. It was pretty spicy and delicious.
Charm Thai is great! Ordered online and delivery arrived early!! Food was hot and delicious. The spring rolls were even crunchy!! I will definitely order again soon!!
Amazing service and quality! Got the Panang and Massaman curries, both were amazing! Will be back. Generous portions and best Thai prices I’ve seen in the city
We ordered delivery and were so pleased. The food was tasty, spicy (as requested), hot and came super fast! So excited to have this place in the area!
Charm thai is a hole in a wall thai spot They are only take out/ delivery They have a very small place, I actually never been inside, we always have it delivered We love these and we just rotate with our order Crab Rangoon 5/5 Thai fried rice 5/5 Green curry fried rice 5/5 Shumai 3/5 ( May be frozen) Fried calamary 2/3 ( May be frozen) chicken satay 5/5
This place is great! Thought it would never open ( I have been waiting since last summer), but it finally did & I'm so happy I wasn't disappointed. The food is fresh and the employees are very friendly, I eat here about 3 times a week if not more.
We had take out from here the first night when we got into NYC, staying in Harlem. Staff was friendly. Food was prepared quickly and it tasted good. We had the assorted appetizer (all good, but especially the curry puff), the pad see ew, and massaman curry. Nothing was spicy, and we didn’t ask for spicy. They had cool specials listed on the board that we hadn’t known about when we called in our order.
Delicious food at affordable prices. Order from here once a week on average. Drunken noodles are fantastic, as are the curries. But be warned, “medium spicy” is pretty spicy, and I like spice!
I’ve ordered takeout here a few times and have not been disappointed. Service is friendly everytime and fast. I really enjoy the fried rice, drunken noodle, and chicken pad see ew. the wings are also super delicious. this place is def on my list of places for takeout
tried the drunken noodles, crab rangoon, and the thai tea and it was so damn good. i’ve never written a review on a place but this was genuinely so good. Everything was so flavorful, i wish i could re-eat it 😭. Got it delivered as-well and didn’t take too long.
Great Thai place as the food is delicious and the ingredients are always fresh and high quality. There is no dining in here though so it is takeout or delivery only. Definitely a regular on my lunch rotation.
I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu and massaman curry with tofu. I ordered them both Thai hot and they made it nice and spicy which a lot of Thai restaurants don’t do—it had a great kick! The massaman curry was one of the best that I have ever tasted, it had a really strong coconut flavor which I really enjoyed. The drunken noodles were good, pretty standard but had a weird smell. The prices were also really good. I would highly recommend going here!
The food is delicious. I have no complaints, and they were fast! They accommodated to my order just fine. The portions are pretty sizable (about 28 oz). And they don't try to skimp you by putting rice inside the container. I got their lunch special (only $7.95 for most dishes) which included an appetizer. The spring rolls were not spectacular (pretty bland), but they had a good complementary taste to my dish, especially when you use their scrumptious sweet chili that they come with on the side. I will be ordering from here again whenever I get the chance.
Even though the place is small, the foods and drinks are amazing. Their drunken noodles is really delicious and the fried chicken with the sauce is out of the world. The Thai ice tea is standard but really happy to get it in Harlem.
This is my go to Thai restaurant when I’m in the neighborhood. I are usually order it for pick up. One time I had walked all the way to the restaurant only to discover I forgot to press the “order“ button. The gentleman at the cash register put in the order for me, and it was ready within 10 minutes. Great prices for lunch. I usually order veggie/chicken drunken noodles. The pad see ew is also delicious. Included in lunch is a choice of an appetizer.
I finally checked this place out and I wasn’t disappointed. I kept it simple - chicken curry with Jasmine rice and some spring rolls. I picked it up so no comment on delivery yet. It was delicious! Large enough serving for two meals. A generous amount of chicken and veggies. The curry was spicy and very tasty. I’m looking forward to my next visit!
Great lunch special! $9.95 for pad thai with an appetizer, and it's not a small amount. The workers were very kind and quick to create my order. I'm looking forward to going more often. EDIT: Soon after posting my review they increased the lunch special price
One of my co workers told me about this place and I was recommended the Drunken Noodles with their chicken. Which is one of their lunch specials. You can get their soup or salad with the peanut sauce.
Found spot on google maps looking for something new to eat for lunch. the reviews were good, so coworker and I went over. only ate thai a few times so wasn't real familiar but figured we'd try something new. i ordered the pad thai with chicken and thai iced coffee. It was real good. so good that we ended up going back the next day in which i got the drunken noodles with chicken and tried the thai tea. very good. enjoyed even more than the pad thai. so good that I told my wife about the spot and now I have to bring some home for dinner today. so I'll be ordering for the third day in a row once i complete writing this review. lol.
This place is amazing! The food is all made to order, you can see the kitchen right when you enter. They don't reheat already made food, pad see ew noodles were super fresh, chicken was perfectly cooked, perfect flavor. Delivery/takeout only.
The last time I was here, they only offered takeouts. We ordered the Pad Thai, Chicken Wings, Fried Rice, Shumai, and Spring Rolls for lunch at Central Park. I could say that everything tasted super good and very authentic also we got the Iced Thai Tea – undoubtedly refreshing and not too sweet to my taste. Everyone should try this !!!
Found this place on Grubhub and ordered a Pad Thai go. The rice noodles were cooked amazingly, they gave a good amount of vegetables and were well garnished with peanuts and lime. The combination of the Pad Thai had a sweet, sour, and spicy flavor, especially with that sauce. the vegetables provided a crunch to it along with the peanuts making have that slightly nutty flavor.
This is the fifth time that I have ordered the massaman Curry with prawns in it and it is always on point. I love this place. I always order in person and they have my food ready in less than 15 minutes. This is my favorite THAI food restaurant upper west Manhattan.

First time take out from Charm Thai Express tonight. Food was fast, freshly prepared, tasted delicious, and staff was friendly. Definitely my new go to express Thai spot in Harlem.
Delicious food! Very fast service (no longer than 10 minutes) for pick up. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Drunken noodles and Masaman Curry were excellent.

Delicious food! Very fast service (no longer than 10 minutes) for pick up. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Drunken noodles and Masaman Curry were excellent.
I’ve ordered from here over the last 5 years! I love the drunken noodles, the basil, wok, chicken, or shrimp, I also love the pad Thai and the shrimp wonton soup! This place never disappoints, I always do takeout! And it comes within 30 minutes. It’s always hot and fresh. This is a great go to my Netflix and chill nights because I can always find some thing for my family or my friends to eat and know that they’re getting good quality fresh food every time.
My favorite Thai but sadly the price has gone up quite a bit so it’s gone from cheapest to one of the more expensive.
I wish I had discovered this restaurant earlier. Every employee offered politeness and assistance. This place makes good meals. The atmosphere feels just right. Your spending delivers real returns.
I love this place. Super fresh and they make delicious curries. Their drunken noodles are SUPER fluffy.

Standard Thai takeout food but they do it good. Tastes fresh and hot Everytime I get it and prices are very fair. Excellent place I'd recommend for takeout but it's not one of the knock you out of your boots place so don't expect anything super crazy.
Seafood fried rice!!! Love love please don't start slacking on the quality. You can tell a few times over it wasn't the best. But you know food is good when you heat it back up & it is just bursting with flavors
Ppl who work there are very nice and friendly. But the food is meh. Beef is very dry and tasteless, pad Thai is alright. Generally okay but you can find better thai food with similar price.
Pretty standard fare ~$10 lunch menu but prepared fast and fresh. It was my first time ordering here so I got the standard chicken Pad Thai with spring rolls as my free appetizer. The Pad Thai was delicious but my only complaint is that the spring rolls were some of the smallest spring rolls I've ever seen. You get 2 of them and they taste fine but still a little disappointing to me. I would recommend getting the vegetable dumplings as those look to be more substantial in size.
This is my go-to place for Thai take out. The service is always fast, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. My favorites are the drunken noodles and chicken satay, but I have tried a variety of menu items and have never been disappointed.
Ordered from here based off of a recommendation by a friend. I was a little skeptical but gave in. First time I ordered I got their calamari, spring rolls, and Thai rice. I have to say, it was good. The rice wasn't greasy like most places have been in the area and the calamari wasn't this rubbery mess. The second time I ordered though, yes 2nd within the same week 🤣, I was a little disappointed because the rice wasn't as before but for me it was only once so I wasn't going to just write them off completely. Though that delivery guy for the 2nd order was a bit rude ( must have been having a bad day 🤷🏾♀️). The third time was just like the first. I say give them a go, you won't know what you like or dislike until you try it out.
Went to this Thai spot because the prices are really good! I got a Thai iced coffee, the chicken Tom Kha soup & chicken Pad See Ew noodles. The flavor just wasn’t there though. It’s good for the price but that’s pretty much it. I had to add so much hot sauce at home for it to taste like something. The Thai iced coffee was also not my favorite, it didn’t taste that much like coffee. Overall not a bad spot if you’re looking for something quick & the workers there are super nice but it just didn’t hit the spot for me.
No frills kind of cafe. I wanted to eat lunch here, but there was no room at the time. Staff were eating and deliver guys were inside. I just ordered and picked it up. They have a decent lunch menu for $10, you get a decent amount of food with a choice of appetizer. They take card which is convenient. Food is hot and good. I just wish there was room to in it. I’ll come back to try other things on their menu.
Food was really good and prices were reasonable. Pad Woon Sen wasn’t the best I’ve had but it was good. We asked for the green curry to be mild but it seemed there was still a considerable kick to it (would’ve been good to tell us that it wasn’t possible to do completely mild). But everything was delicious! Thai milk tea was AMAZING!

This place has been in my neighborhood for years and just yesterday I decided to try it. The food is so unbelievably delicious that I went back today. My favorite so far was the Chicken Basil Rice. The drunken noodles are great. I feel that if the restaurant itself had a more appealing appearance, they may get even more business. That wouldn't be hard to do because the place is tiny but it just looks like a strange random spot that made me hesitant to try.

good, reliable spot. cash or card—no Apple Pay, but they do take zelle.
They do get the orders wrong often. Taste is decent. Staff aren't as respectful and have an attitude. The salmon is processed squares and gross. I've had this a few times. Not a great thai spot. Move on tbh.
I’m a big fan of Thai food, especially pad see ew. I will never order it from here again though. We ordered 4 servings and when we opened the containers, the food smelt, looked, and tasted burnt. We ordered delivery and the food arrived close to 9:15. We called at about 9:30 to let them know and they said they would send us new ones but that would likely take another 45 mins. We just took our loss and decided we won’t order from here again. Green Curry was really good though.
I never take the time to write reviews, but the quality of food I received was so poor that I felt the need to. I ordered chicken pad thai. There were raw bean sprouts tossed on top, and the meal was poorly seasoned. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I placed an order through Grubhub for delivery. Received my order and took a bite. I thought I bit down on some kind of bone, it was a piece of metal!! Looked like a rusty, stretched out staple! The restaurant refunded me for the pad Thai, but refused to send a replacement. I was so hungry I thought about eating it, but as I poked through it, I then found a piece of hair. Seriously!! This place clearly has sanitation problems. Ended up dodging a bullet, because I did NOT want a replacement and will never order from here again. Grateful to Grubhub for their assistance. Beware!!!
Extremely rude manager and refuses to say what goes into the sauce which tastes really fishy. Just hung up on me when I asked for what was in the brown sauce. Didn't care about allergies.
This was the worst food I’ve ever had in NYC. My whole family was disappointed. It was so bad that we threw away most of it. I should have read the reviews before. I am surprised that this restaurant has been open for a while. Stay away to stay healthy.
