I had a day out with my Grandaon and we decided to ha e breakfast at the diner. The waiter was excellent, the food was fresh and the food came fast. I request so.e specifics with my eggs and they were made to perfection. My Grandson is a very finicky eater and he tooenjoyed his breakfast and couldn't stop talking about it.

Me and my mom were waiting at NYU for my dad to have heart surgery and after they took him up me and my mom wanted to go get something to eat and found the Gemini diner. my mom ordered pancakes and I had the Gemini wrap. The food was really good and the service was excellent. God bless and good luck with reopening the dining room. If you are in the area definitely stop in you will not be disappointed

Such a great experience here!! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. Spiro, our waiter, was so kind, welcoming, and a great communicator. He got our order exactly like we wanted it! It was great talking to him about New York and he was so friendly. Food was delicious too!! A great late night spot!! I will definitely be returning!!!

I have both eaten here and taken out food. I was pleasantly surprised when I initially started takeout my drinks were covered in saran wrap to help ensure that the drinks would not spill out. I have never had any other restaurant do this.This is a great place to go individually or with a group. There is also outdoor seating. The staff is very helpful and the quality of the food is excellent. This restaurant is a long standing favorite with locals. Gemini Dinner in Murray Hill is the REAL DEAL. Classic 24 hour Diner at its best. Traditional and well prepared food with fresh ingredients, and spot on service with an attentive waiter who is there for you - without being too much so. Shout out to Jimmy who took my highly edited order without any issue, answered all my questions…. yes the fruit is cut fresh, the spinach in my omelette is as fresh, preparing the omelette on the softer side, and a well done baked potato. The homemade brownie with a single scoop of vanilla ice-cream with mint tea capped it all off. Never a rush, and the central casting diners sitting alongside me. A couple of young doctors discussing some neuro-surgery, some off-duty broadway actors just off a show, maybe some late night club revelers and a couple on a first date. Great simple dinner food and just enough attentive service from the staff. Also, kudos to the cooks who happily handled all my edits perfectly! The place to go 24/7.

My wife had the avocado toast and I had the lumberjack with sausage. It was absolutely delicious. A little pricey but high quality.

Intense craving for a chicken salad triple decker hit me hard at 130am Friday night / Saturday morning. Luckily, Gemini is 24 hours…. And also QUICK service. Placed my order while on my bus ride back to Murray hill from the lower east side, and it was ready for pick up within 15 minutes- right when I got off the bus. Excellent portions. Heaping side of fries comes along w the triple decker. They have what I believe is superior chicken salad compared to some of the diners in the area. Solid 10/10.

Today I gotten a blueberry muffin. It was good size and fresh. It was so so delicious. Not too sweet . It was very moist. I'm sorry I didn't taken a picture of the muffins

Lovely, cozy diner with incredibly friendly staff. We were craving some sit down no-pressure comfort breakfast food for dinner, and this place really hit the spot. Steak was tough, but the home fries slapped hard. Margarita to wash it all down. We also asked for a hazelnut chocolate milkshake - initial reaction was travolta in pulp fiction.

I’m apparently breakfast hopping now as this is my second diner in three days, my first being Murray Hill Diner on 33rd. It’s nice getting to see the differences between diners. What I really like about this particular one, is that they serve their entire menu all day. At the previous place, my choices were limited to just breakfast and when you come off of Night Shift, sometimes you don’t feel like eating breakfast foods. You want an actual meal. The service was very fast, which seems to be signature of these kinds of establishments. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and water was made available as soon as I sat down as well as a menu. I like that attention is paid to customers when they come in and you don’t have to wait to be acknowledged or served. The staff was friendly and courteous and I didn’t have to wait long for my order to come out. The price of my food was ok. I had a fruit salad and an avocado bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich. It all came out to about $18 which compared to other places is a pretty good price. The food was OK. I think I’d like to try something heartier next time I visit though.

I just wanted to make a shout out to Mario, who is an all-star! He is one of the sweetest servers at this place! Great food! Kind staff. If they make a mistake, they own it, apologize, and make sure it’s resolved. Good people, yummy food! The general manager with glasses in the morning shift is very helpful and kind as well.

My SO and I are always on the hunt for a breakfast place that feels like it belongs in the neighborhood when we visit cities, and man Gemini hit it right on the nail. The food was delicious and well priced The staff were kind and helpful Be sure to sit by the window. The local architecture is a nice backdrop to your morning coffee.

The bacon cheeseburger on that sweet potato bread. Lord, cooked to perfection. Fries also great crispy hot. Leland tomatoes were fresh. What really had me was the coleslaw. I don't eat it, but let me tell you something. It was amazing. The place is beautiful and clean. The waiters are respectful. I am big woman, and the waiter discreetly asked if I wanted to sit somewhere more comfortable. Hints, accommodation. I kindly said no thank you and sat at a booth until the burgers were done and we left. Great atmosphere and great music playing in the background. The tvs playing sports and videos were very entertaining too. Thank you for a great experience.

This place is amazing. Great service, great food. Do not hesitate to visit. This is a functional diner within easy walk of Grand Central/Times Sq (for the tourists like us), if you want to get away from the more plush/expensive/soul-less places. We visited for bruch, which included free tea/coffee, and a bloody mary, screwsrive or mimosa, or a juice. Service was clockwork efficient. We'll be back when we next visit NYC.

Greeted as soon as I walk in. Being that it wasn't extremely busy I was able to pick my booth . First time here and I enjoyed myself! Food was fresh & delicious. It was about 12:30pm it was a nice space not to busy when I went but a continuous flow of people in and out. Everyone that works there was nice & attentive to what I wanted. Side note( To my my bigger people the booths are kinda tight) I'm not sure if they have chair seating. I also bought some sweets for home to share.Plain cheese cake it was good not overly sweet & A strawberry shortcake light & fluffy . Both good.

I was in NY for fun and was really hungry one.night ant it was late. Gemini was the only place within walking distance. After reading some reviews, I thought I would try it but wasn't expecting it to be great. We were greeted and seated right away, I loved the cool and laid-back vibe. Good amount of people eating and chit chatting. The menu is pretty big, but I just wanted a burger, and it did NOT disappoint! Juicy and perfectly cooked! The fries weren't as warm as I would have liked, but I was fine with that. We were checked constantly by our server. I would go back!!

Food is delicious and portions are great prices are decent. Not cheap. But the it was hot in there while sitting eating my breakfast. I usually would order coffee but it was too hot to drink coffee there. Please fix the temperature in your diner. It was uncomfortable!

I had an hour to kill prior to a Dr's appointment and came across Gemini while walking the neighborhood. This is exactly what you'd expect in a NYC diner. I had the scrambled eggs and corned beef hash with toast. It was very good. I'm not a coffee guy so i can't vouch for theirs. The iced tea was homemade and solid. If i were in the neighborhood, i'd definitely go back.

Food and service is reliably good here. Last few times I've been here it was almost completely empty. Do they depend now only on deliveries and pickups? Made me sorta uncomfortable. Also disappointing, they used to have lunch and dinner specials, but that's no more. And if you get anything more than eggs, burgers or sandwiches, it can be expensive.

Last morning in NYC, went there for breakfast. I had the 2 egg breakfast, while my wife had a Mexican omelet. Met a former Broadway (and local diner there) singer and had a good conversation with here. Quite the NY character. Staff was friendly and food was good.

Been looking for a goto diner in the neighbourhood and I think we may have found the one. First try was pretty promising, we went for brunch and they had good value brunch items and as with most diners copious quantities of food. The quality of the food was good too. The only snag was that the service was a little slow. It seemed like they were understaffed. Clean and decent decor. Will try again.

A pretty good neighborhood diner. I visited in the morning for brunch, the diner was a good level of busy with what felt like locals, always a good sign if construction workers are using a diner. French toast was great, staff were attentive and helpful (even adding a side of peanut butter). Coffee wasn't up to my incredibly high diner coffee standards, but that aside all good. Toilets however are down a flight of stairs, so not great for wheelchair users or anyone who's got limited mobility.

It has been my experience, while eating breakfast out, to get virtually tasteless oatmeal. The Gemini Diner is an EXCEPTION, their STEEL CUT OATMEAL ($7.50 plus tax) has a pleasing taste. I also enjoy their decaffeinated coffee.

They have a nice outdoor patio which is great with everything going on. Only complaint is that it’s really pricey, even for New York - a panini with fries is $16. Overall pretty good though.

Great corner diner with the usual deep choice of dishes and fast, efficient service. This one is a bit if a Murray Hill institution and it doesn't disappoint. The healthier options for a late breakfast (such as yogurt) are not just after thoughts.

The waitstaff was amazing and they went out of their way for me being that I'm disabled. The water and juice had no ice. The sausages were overcooked. My husband's pancakes were amazing and my toast were perfect. Next time we are going to try lunch and sodas.

Conveniently located 24hr dinner located near several hospitals, so if you’re wanting something warm to eat and don’t want to walk for the cafeteria to open this place will do. It’s not great. The breakfast potatoes were old and cold. The eggs were palatable and the toast was just that, toast. Service is what you’d expect and the coffee is ok. The place has nothing to brag about, but I didn’t leave hungry.

My omelette was decent and the bacon was great. Took abit to get coffee refills and my friends over easy eggs came out a little too watery.

The nachos that I shared with my family was very salty. The calamari however was good. If you come here, get the breakfast meals as they look appetizing. We had breakfast here. It was cold, and even with the array of ingredients mixed into the dishes, they were flavorless. It was not worth all the money that was paid. The only saving grace was the dessert, a baklava, which earned the food a 2 star rating.

Went in for the first time. Hubby ordered a gyro combo and I ordered an impossible burger. Gyro was passable, fries were over cooked, impossible burger was horrible, Burger King’s tastes much better. Theirs had no taste at all. BLAH!!! I’ve had vegan burgers before and they use corn, quinoa etc. Cole slaw was terrible too. Never going back.

Have eaten here several times out of convenience. Staff never smiles and is not friendly. Always had the feeling this is from management on down. Ordered grilled cheese with tomato on whole wheat toast. Sandwich had no tomato and was served on rye toast.Waiter wanted to take it back but I didn't trust what the kitchen might do to sandwich. Price was $6.45 on menu; charged $ 7.20; sent bill back for correction. As said, it's a convenient place in area but only order simple dishes.

I ordered a shrimp quesadilla around 3am and the shrimp had a weird odor. Basically the shrimp was not fresh. My girlfriend ordered a pizza burger and it was literally marinara on top of a burger. My friend had wings and didn’t finish it as they didn’t look or taste appealing. And lastly I had a Henny colada which pretty much tasted like a virgin drink. We will never go back here. I guess it’s good that they’re open late but next time I rather go to McDonalds honestly. It was a waste of money.

Advertised on Uber Eats as Amoré, in reality it's really Gemeni diner. Inedible is an understatement. Pasta overcooked, bolognese smelled and tasted rotten, soup that came with the bolognese was supposed to be chicken noodle and was more in line with boiled water and noodles with canned chicken. Upside, the mozzarella sticks didn't taste poisonous.

My boyfriend ordered some chicken wings last night, immediately got sick after eating them, he got a really bad food poisoning and on the verge of going to the hospital because of how bad it was. Avoid this place 👎🏼

Never have had a worse experience at a diner. Typically not picky when it comes to this but set my empty coffee cup at the edge of the table after 15 minutes I had to ask them to refill it. If you get the hash browns order them crispy so they come out warm. Eggs over easy are not supposed to be completely liquid. Obviously this place is just focused on getting people in and out the door.

I never write reviews but I got violently sick within 10 minutes of getting food from here and had severe food poisoning for the next 15 hours. It’s funny because I use to here once in a while and it’s the first time this happened. Maybe a change in management or drop in sanitary standards. Bottom line is I got extremely sick from the food here recently.

I went to the diner based off of google reviews being that I needed to get food for a sick family member @ NYU Hospital and it’s close by. I place the order a was very specific with what I needed. The nice guy taking my to go order confirmed my request. Only to discover that the order was wrong once I arrived at the hospital. I called the diner to express my disappointment and whoever answered the phone wanted to debate me about what I ordered saying wasn’t on the menu when I clearly is. I was told to call back in the AM to speak with the Gus the manager and I will.

I came in with my husband at 3am. We sat down and ordered a appetizer and was served our Loaded Gemini Fries right away, with gravy. The gravy tasted like apple pie filling. Disgusting. My boyfriend was so hungry he ate it. The whole time a fly was flying around and we kept trying to swap it away. We was waiting and waiting to order our meals. Our waiter was too busy with other tables that came after us and seemed to forgotten us. I had to walk to the manager to get served after 20 minutes, and he sent a regular porter guy and he took our order. I didn’t want anything anymore. So my boyfriend ate his eggs and bacon platter with home fries. Very small amount of home fries. The bacon looked okay but my boyfriend didn’t eat all of it and HE LOVES BACON! Small amount of home fries and looked terrible which he didn’t finish, and the eggs looked good to be honest. I was very disappointed with the service is all. At that hour of course you can’t expect much, but you’re still a business that’s open 24hrs. So you should keep your good customer service all day long. Every body else BUT us was attended well. Not sure why. I don’t want o make it a race thing because it wasn’t. I saw them treat a African American couple great right after us. So I’m not sure why we were treated this way. But overall, over priced, mediocre food, bad service, flies and bugs flying around while we ate, disappointed. Save your money.

I ordered my food a little late last night. They delivered chicken sandwich which was uncooked. I called them today morning just to let them know. The guy who picked up the phone was extremely rude and had no skills to speak to the customers. He was not ready to listen to anything. Not a good experience.

Whoever answers the phone in the morning 7-8 am was very Rude and Judgemental assuming I couldn't afford my order for delivery and said to order online, agreed he was being Discriminating hung up on me More than twice. He feels Stupid because I had more than enough but All for the food to be disgusting and not done properly. Get it together. I got my money back right away.

Awful experience. First, there was a plastic jelly container in my coffee! The waiter mentioned that it happens because it gets stuck in the mug. Very weird to admit that. The food was meh. And we ordered French toast with fruit, which was missing half the fruit. Lastly, they slapped a 4% charge on top of the bill for using a credit card!

Meh. Slow service, mediocre food. I'd give it 3 stars, but I have to compensate for all the fake reviews.
