What a local gem on the Upper East Side! I will recommend this spot to all my friends from now on. If you’re heading to a museum nearby, do yourself a favor and stop by this charming Italian spot. We had a fresh, crusty Bianco pizza topped with zucchini and a classic Margherita -both absolutely divine! You can taste the quality in every bite. The ingredients are real, fresh, and thoughtfully paired. What truly set this place apart? 💐 Fresh cut flowers on the table and unique design. 🍨 Homemade gelato that transported me straight to a sunny streets of Rome. 🍷 A wine list that would impress even your most particular sommelier friend. The service? Impeccable. Friendly, fast and they make everyone feel at home, from families to four-legged friends (yes, dogs are welcome there and we saw a bunch of really cute ones!). Bonus points: they keep things fresh with new menu additions - Birch coffee was the latest surprise, and it was perfect. I’ll definitely be back for the food, the atmosphere, and that magical sense of a quick Italian holiday on the UES.
Very tasty and varied food, served quickly. I especially recommend the aperitif because it is plentiful and contains various tastes and smells. The pizzas are like eating them in Italy and from various regions. I recommend the pizza with figs. The staff is very friendly and pleasant, the atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed, the music is quiet and harmonious. with beautiful surroundings and a view that can be seen from the terrace. Any recommendation for this restaurant and we will come again soon. Thank you
Loved this pink and white Italian restaurant! super-cute lots of outdoor seating with pink umbrellas. has white chairs and pink cushions on the chairs. Inside is the same! beautiful flowers at the bar. spaces and walls full of wine bottles. and upstairs is a little balcony with extra seating and while we were there someone had booked it for a birthday party. They had a neat and clean restroom. The veal picatta was delicious. Meatballs and margarita pizza delicious. I highly recommend.
Randomly stopped here to grab lunch and had a nice experience. The pizza was great and the service was lovely. I also liked the pink decor of the restaurant.
Fresh tomato & mozzarella panini was really good. The drink was great. I've mixed it with sparkling water, too, and it was also good. Nice Italian restaurant to visit.
Had the spaghetti carbonara daily special - it needed some black pepper but it was delicious. Also enjoyed a very fairly priced bottle of Pinot. Outdoor ambiance was great. Service was superb. Recommend!
Food was banging and the service was impeccable 👌
This was a great place, the food and beverages were great and the people were nice and the services were excellent
Stumbled upon this delightful restaurant! We order 4 different dishes and we were all blown away! You won’t regret eating here!

Hands down the best pizza I ever had! I recommend the Prosciutto & Fig!! Such an amazing pizza and the team is very friendly and nice!
Very relaxed atmosphere, great food, great service. We got a table quickly and really enjoyed our time.
Went there for my birthday and Ariel and Alex were gems!!!! Not to mention the chef, Esteban, he did his big one! Everything from the kitchen was my delicious to say the very least! 10 outta 10 for sure! ❤️
The Gina La Fornarina team coordinated such a special event for us! It was the ideal space and location for our group, and all enjoyed the food and drinks. We are grateful for their hospitality.
Quiet street, excellent food, attentive service, (we had fettuccine and avocado salad) but I was surprised they put auto-gratuity on. That sours the experience if I'm being honest. We are a family of five. A tip should not be built in. Total bill was $215 for 3 adults and 2 kids.
Amazing service and food!! We had the prosciutto and fig pizza and chicken piccata. They were so so so great.

Good food with a great welcoming hospitality. Gina definitely puts a lot of pride in . She is doing it for decades and is an inspirational powerful women. Love the consistency and the guest hospitality.
Very kind and friendly staff. We were accommodated on the top floor where it was quiet and secluded. We had the pear and Gorgonzola pizza and the minestrone soup- both were exquisite. Definitely recommend if you’re on the UWS or by the Gugg.
small and cozy sit down italian establishment! good for small groups as there isn’t much seating. a solid spot for a date night or small group of friends! great 70s/80s music playing and staff here is very friendly.
came here w a big group, tried different pizzas each. the diavola and the fig & prosciutto were the best!
When we came in it was completely empty inside and the service wasn't super friendly, so we didn't have the highest expectations, but the decor was cute! Prices were high but the food was absolutely delightful!!! We had the pizza bianca and it was so tasty

Service is good. Food is cold. I ordered lasagna, and it was cold in the middle, so it’s definitely not fresh. I don’t like paying so much for a reheated food. Also, the restroom is a disaster - flushing didn’t work and the sink water had low pressure and it was boiling hot

I’m usually a generous tipper, giving 17-20% without question. But my experience at Gina was beyond disappointing. From the start, the service was rude. Despite specifically requesting seating downstairs, we were taken upstairs without any explanation. The servers seemed uninterested in accommodating our requests and showed little regard for making our experience enjoyable. To top it off, they ended up adding a tip to the bill without my consent. I double-checked my bank statement afterward and saw that they’d included a tip even though I had specifically chosen not to leave one on the receipt. Feels like a complete scam. If you want respectful service and honesty in billing, avoid this place at all costs.
