We were enticed into the beautiful restaurant by our lovely host, Asya, as she served passers-by with freshly baked truffle bread. We were also struck by the warmth of the manager who assured us that there would be no cross-contamination in the preparation of the food as he duly recommended pasta dishes that were suitable for vegetarians. Grazie mille! Both the mushroom with truffle pasta and the tomato with basil pasta were delicious and extremely filling. Our host then recommended the pistachio Tiramisu, which was devoured after a little breather. An inspired choice indeed...Çok teşekkür ederim! I'd highly recommend this delightful restaurant with its warm and welcoming staff to anyone who wants to sample authentic Italian food in the heart of Manhattan.

Really enjoyed eating here- I got the burata pizza and orange juice and both was amazing and fresh and made with good quality ingredients. Also the atmosphere and was great too!

We got the truffle pizza and it was phenomenal! We also got the pistachio cannoli, which was crunchy and delicious. We also got a glass of moscato. I don’t usually like white wine, but they recommended it with the food we ordered and it was excellent! Michael and the rest of the team were great. Can’t wait to come back!

I had a wonderful experience at IT Italian Trattoria! The pasta and pizza were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the authentic Italian touch in every bite. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was attentive and friendly. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone who loves true Italian cuisine.

It's my first time here and definitely won't be the last. The pasta dishes were amazing, and the tiramisu was on point. The pizza that are on display also was definitely tempting. Get all of it. Just a side note, that the lemon tiramisu. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I had a delicious salad, the only thing I didn’t like much is that it is already made, so you can’t ask to have an ingredient removed. For one this I had marinated salmon, which was better than I expected. The service was very good, all very kind. The atmosphere is nice.

Cozy spot, nice plating. The food was tasty but the portions were a bit small; we had to get a late night snack later on. We ordered the truffle rigatoni and rigatoni with alfredo sauce. Friendly service.

Came here to have dinner with some friends from out of town. Small restaurant with intricate Italian accents. Service is all at the counter and pick up area. Food was decent to my taste. May come here again if in the city

For the type of restaurant, partly cafeteria style with some pasta dished up in a dedicated pasta area, The pasta was better than I expected. I had spaghetti alfredo. Freshly made pasta, good quality parmigiana, and an Aperol spritz. The place was busy, but my order came out quickly.

One of the worst pizzas we’ve had in New York. It tasted store bought. The lasagne we ordered was lukewarm and partially cold. My guess is some of the food had been microwaved. Really not great. The place was extremely crowded.

We were passing by the Trattoria, the Menu sounded interesting, but it turns out we lived a bittersweet experience, to start we ordered 2 pastas (not the traditional ones), we wanted something new, then there weren't many customers, and it took about 20 minutes for 2 vegetable pastas, I am a Chef and I understand that a pasta would be ready in 10 to 12 minutes or less maximum (of course, depending on if it has protein), in this case they were vegetables, at the moment they were ready I went to get the order and the COLD pastas!! and they just give them to you and don't tell you which is which, you have to guess based on what you see, I couldn't believe it! , we waited so long for little! , ... they also show you smoothie options and there was nothing, in the middle of summer. Only bottled drinks !! ugh ... The waitress was not at all attentive, I repeat there were no customers, then. , my rating 4 out of 10

Beware! Food is mediocre and the service is very poor. You get charged off of a hidden menu and not the menu they give you when you sit down. The portion sizes are small and while the pasta was minorly overcooked the sause was near non existent. The server asked if we wanted cheese on our pasta and then charged us 3$ each for 6 pieces (individually counted!) of cheese. No server spoke English well, and made it difficult to ask for what we wanted as well as made us feel attacked and uncomfortable. The positive of this place is it is a casual atmosphere and they have decent lighting.
