Cute spot, great korean wings and friendly staff. The snow cheese was so good! Stumbled into this spot and sure glad we did. I will be back!
The restaurant was really small and cute. We got the half sweet and spicy / half soy garlic wings and the side of fries. Everything was pretty good!
K Bap is a cozy, casual spot that serves surprisingly flavorful Korean comfort food. The portions are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and the dishes come out quickly even during busy hours. Their bibimbap is especially well-balanced, with crisp vegetables and a perfectly fried egg, and the kimchi has just the right kick. Overall, K Bap is a great choice if you’re craving hearty Korean dishes at reasonable prices.
Wonderful find while strolling in this neighborhood. I loved the chicken wings with two different flavors, and both were amazing! The sauce is very sticky, which is why they provide gloves. Service was a bit slow, and I felt it was unnecessary to stand while I could see empty seats, it took a good 15 minutes before it was our turn. But the team was very polite and friendly. A bit expensive from my perspective compared to the portion size, as we tried the kimchi stew but delicious nonetheless.
Sooo good. I just finished eating 6pc wings. Sweet and spicy and rice cakes. I had their kimbap. It was Thursday night and it was packed. I had the snow cheese and the original wings. I like the sweet and spicy ones. The kimbap are great. They play korean music on multiple TV screens.
One of “The Best wings” I have had. They are super crisp on outside glazing with your choice of flavor and moist & juicy in the inside. Oh and they are big fat wings with lots of meat which falls of the bone. I was liking the bonnie ends and my fingers for that mater. 6 large piece for $12 and I had happy full tummy, highly recommended if you are in the midtown and need quick bite that is delicious.
The cheese wings is soooo good. And the cheese rice cake is soooo addictive-taste like chips. Both have the perfect amount of flavoring and crisp that other places can’t do. I would def get the wings if you’re there. It’s a bit tight in there but solo dining is welcomed! Staff members were kind and helpful.
Stumbled on this amazing Korean spot K-Bap & Wings (62 W 56th St, NYC) near my Midtown office—total lunch savior! Their $12 made-to-order fried chicken is crunchy (soy-garlic = K-drama vibes; cheese bomb = oozing goodness). The army stew (spicy-cheesy broth, ramen + spam) is perfect for cold days—cozy & satisfying. The bibimbap (runny yolk, fresh veggies) balances bold flavors, and the kimbap (spicy tuna/beef) is crunchy & addictive. $20/person for so much deliciousness and 10/10 will be back!
I ordered the kimbap and fried chicken. The kimbap was great. I got two different flavors of the fried chicken and it honestly tasted the same but they were all good so that’s what is most important. Of course the kimchi was good and we got refills. Good prices, quick service, nice servers. Bathroom is ok.
I went here with my best friend last week, we got the beef bulgogi bowl, we got the original wings, and the spicy soy wings I believe. It was super yummy, the atmosphere was also very comforting and relaxing
Very cool atmosphere 👌🏻 The wings are to dry 😬 appetizer came after the main dish 🤷
I went to this casual Korean spot a while ago for dinner after going to Central Park nearby. They were pretty packed inside, but the woman was friendly, and I got a seat relatively quickly. I wasn't particularly in the mood for anything fried, so I went for their Spicy Pork Over Rice/Jeyuk-depbap/제육덮밥, which was $14.95. The pork was pretty tasty, with a bit of char, though the chili paste/gochujang was slightly milder than at some other spots. It was still a pleasant amount of heat, and it definitely was tender. The dish also came with a fried egg on top, which was a bit overdone for my liking. I don't mind the edges being crispy, but I want some yolk to drip. There was also some pickled cucumber with a bit of crunch that was pretty tasty, along with the rice, of course. The dish was pretty tasty, a good step above the closest casual Korean place to me, and worth the price. I'd go back here to try what they're more known for, which is their wings, another day. I'd recommend the place if you're in the area and looking for a quick and relatively cheap Korean meal.
The food we tried was absolutely delicious! We had some Korean-style wings that were perfectly done—crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender on the inside. The rice cake skewers and bulgogi beef were also good! The place was a bit tight, tables were so close to each other and loud. The staff was friendly, although the service was a bit slow. Overall, it was a good experience!
First off, the chicken is so crispy and good. No matter the flavor you get, the chicken’s crispy and crunchy texture will enhance it. If anything, the best part of this place is the chicken (I recommend their curry flavor). Secondly, the service is so good. The waitresses are kind and patient and easily helped enhance the already amazing experience my friends and had here!. Lastly, and certainly not least, the atmosphere is so homely and cozy. It’s truly an amazing place!! I 100% recommend eating here
Korean Fried Chicken / Wings: Crispy, flavorful, and frequently recommended — especially Soy Garlic wings. • Bibimbap & Kimbap: Reviewers often praise the bibimbap and kimbap for being tasty and satisfying. • Tofu soup & ramen: Comforting and flavorful choices mentioned in multiple reviews. • Vegetarian options: Available and noted positively by diners. Ambience & Service • Cozy, simple, authentic vibe: Many reviewers like the casual, unpretentious atmosphere and K-pop music playing inside. • Friendly & attentive staff: Service is highlighted as a positive aspect in a number of reviews. • Small space: A few reviews mention the place can feel a bit tight or crowded. • Great for groups, casual dinners, or a quick bite near Midtown attractions (close to MoMA & Central Park). Generally regarded as reasonably priced for Manhattan, with solid portion sizes for the price, though some reviews mention smaller portions on occasion. Summary K-Bap & Wings is widely seen as a solid, affordable Korean eatery in Midtown NYC with standout wings and classic dishes like bibimbap and tofu soup. It’s casual, welcoming, and great for a quick Korean meal — though it isn’t perfect and can vary in portion size and crowd.
This was my first time trying Kbap. I like the wood aesthetic they have going on and the service was great. The Korean fried chicken was really crispy and I liked the variety of flavors. I’m not a big fan of tteokbokii but the skewers were good. The glaze was light which made it better for me to enjoy. I never had snow cheese flavor until this spot so I got it on the fries and it’s an interesting flavor. Really good on the fries. I had to get the Korean banana milk. Besides that I didn’t really like the rice cake in the red sauce and the rice bowl. The flavors were throwing me off.
Don't get the ddukbokgi. It's the instant pack that you would make yourself. I was actually really disappointed. Kimbap was okay, but dry and again overpriced. I don't mind paying a lot if they actually tasted normal. I get it, we're in the city so I expect the pricing to reflect that compared to the suburbs. Chicken wings were probably their best items which makes sense because that's what they are known for. BUT beware if you are not familiar with Korean wing flavors. I liked the powdered cheese flavor. It's sweet and fun, BUT my husband hated it and barely wanted to finish it. Spicy soy garlic was delish. I have pictures added because the food looked good, but just disappointing. The vibes and service were great and the interior is unique/fun.
Bro its straight up INSTANT TOP RAMEN😭. Went there after seeing the reviews, and so dissatisfied. Me and my friends got a lot of different items- 3 diff ramens, 4 diff flavored wings and other items, but not a single item impressed me. Yes the food itself is served well like looks nice, but portioning and quality is not good at all.Like the ramen itself is not good quality at all, and not even comparable to decent instant ramens. 4 small pieces of shrimp, no flavor and chewy.. dumpings barely any fillings, wings tastes like floured covered if that makes sense. Overrated asfff and if u like this u got no taste in food☠️. Waiters sweet, atmosphere decent tho.
