The chaats here are very delicious. I tried the pav bhaji and bhel puri, and both were excellent. The service was also very nice. Our server, Preity, took great care of us and served us kindly. We would definitely love to come back again.
I recently visited Kailash Parbat with my family after it was highly recommended by my friends and I absolutely loved it. The food is outstanding, especially the chaats, which are made fresh and full of flavor. From the perfectly crisp Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, and Sev Puri to their signature Original Chole Bhature, every bite was delicious and authentic. The staff are incredibly warm and polite, the ambience is welcoming and vibrant, and it’s even pet-friendly which is such a lovely touch. Truly one of the best Indian dining experiences you can have. Highly recommended try it once, and you’ll keep coming back.
Kailash Parbat offers authentic Sindhi cuisine on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring rich traditional flavors and careful preparation. It is also a great place for classics like chole bhatura and chaats, all served fresh with authentic taste. With excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, it provides a satisfying vegetarian dining experience.❤️
Loved the Daal Pakwan, Mini Koki Trio & Samosa Chaat at Kailash Parbat. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The pakwan was perfectly crispy with well-seasoned daal, the koki was soft and comforting, and the samosa chaat had just the right balance of spice and tang. A satisfying mix of textures and classic flavors. Would definitely come again!!
I came here to dine in with my friends, and we had a wonderful time. I regularly order from this place, so I know the food is usually great. All the waitstaff were amazing, especially the one serving our table, Arman. His excellent service truly made our night special. Even though I already know the menu well, his clear explanations of even the smallest intricacies were very helpful. I have been to many restaurants, and this level of service goes toe to toe with the big leagues. The food was really good that day, though not as great as it usually is, but that was not a problem. If anyone wants to try Indian vegetarian cuisine, this place is a great choice.
The food is fresh, the location is prime, the culture is deep, the waitstaff is amazing. All of this is a recipe for success beyond imagination. A dime of a dozen Indian restaurants but this one only has its roots from India quite literally. Whenever i come back to NYC, I’ll be back. Thank you for the amazing food
My absolute favorite spot for authentic Indian food - and the only place in town serving Sindhi cuisine! Everything here is amazing, but the Dahi Puri, Sindhi Kadhi, and Paneer are must-tries. You honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Also want to give a huge shout-out to Pretty - her warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail make every visit so special. She’s a big reason we keep coming back!
Very delicious vegetarian food! We ordered: • Bhel • Diwani Handi • Tandoori Tokri • Veg Biryani and Manchurian Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the dining experience even better. The service was fast, and the staff ensured everything was served promptly. A great place for vegetarian food lovers — highly recommended!
Excellent food, ordered Jain pav bhaji and as we reached before sunset n requested to make it fast...n surprisingly we got it before my son n husband can decide their food...they ordered batata papdi chaat, chhole bhature n they were very contented with the tadte, quality n quantity of food...Jain pav bhaji was also tasty.... Definitely one should visit esp for Jain food as they have many other options available for jains as well vegetarian choice too. My son n husband ordered online Dal makhani n jeera rice today approx 9 pm...n they relished it too much....Taste of Dal makhni they really liked very much.

They have a super delicious Jain menu! It's so hard to find food that's garlic free, but their Jain Chana masala fits the bill perfectly.

Superbly prepared palak paneer, korma and masala dishes. Fabulous desert. Nice portions, no waiting. Coming back for certain even though I'm not a vegetarian!!!
Excellent food. Everything was good including entrees, appetizers and bread!! We ordered Paneer Lazeez masala, Paneer Tikka Lababdar, Sev Batata Puri and butter naan.
A well known chain of restaurants in India . Been to their Chennai branch . I always love their chaat items .. but then I went for lunch wanting to eat something other than chaat. They had an exhaustive menu .. looking around the menu , my eyes were obviously wanting the Chole batura :) I know it’s one of their best seller there. .i still wanted to check if anything else .. after I ordered they said there was a lunch special menu !! Why wouldn’t they give it at the first place ? Lunch special items were also not that impressive . It’s kinda a mix of chaat items , Chole batura etc . Lots of space to sit and eat . Obviously there is no parking spots being in the heart of NY .. nice location and easily accessible … close to many other restaurants.. Chole batura was delicious ! One of the best chola puri I have had in NY NJ . Very authentic and the Chole quantity was very good. Batura had very less oil and tasted great .. loved the experience . Wish they had more menu for lunch specials and thanks . 4 stars .. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good food service and ambiance. \nVegetarian. Not too far from Manhattan downtown. We had chole bhatura and dosa

Went in a couple of times during our time in NYC. Loved their chaats & parathas. Even the tea & lemon soda were refreshing. Service was swift & the staff friendly. The ambiance was nice too.

The best indian food ever!! Every chaat dish is delicious but the pav bhaji is my favorite. I order from here every other week
The food was worth the price. The only thing I felt was missing that the service was bit slow. We had to indicate that we needed water instead server looking around if we need anything.

We visited Restaurant today for dinner with family. The overall experience was pleasant. The food was decent – the taste was okay, though not exceptional. However, the highlight of our visit was the service. Arman, who attended to us, was extremely polite, attentive, and genuinely sweet. His warm hospitality made our evening much more enjoyable. We truly appreciate his efforts and would like to thank him for making our dining experience memorable

I ordered chole bhature here and it was terrible. This is usually my favorite dish, but I wouldn’t recommend it from this place. I was thinking about trying more items, but after this I’m glad I didn’t waste more money. The staff member told me it was made fresh, but it definitely didn’t taste fresh.
The restaurant used to be great a few years back now it’s just sad. We ordered manchow soup which was fine but the quantity was a lesser than expected and we had to go look for the server to get extra crispy noodles. Then came the starters and mains. Kebab Platter - which was missing tandoori aalu, being told in advance that they got over would have been nice, the paneer was hard and rubbery, veg seekh dry, and the mushroom filling was bland. Dry veg Manchurian was dry and unappetizing. Schezwan noodles were spicy as advertised but that’s all they were, no flavour. Paneer lababdaar - gravy was good but the actual paneer was dry. Laccha parantha was fine, and the green chilli roti was super spicy as expected.

The Samosa was ordinary and the Ragda was flavourless.. The food didn’t even look appetising.. No Sindhi food options… typical to any Kailash Parbat… There are better options available… I’m sure

I honestly wish I were exaggerating, but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Midway through our meal, we saw a cockroach crawling near our table. We immediately alerted the staff, expecting concern or urgency. Instead, they were completely unsympathetic and acted like it wasn’t a big deal. There was no meaningful apology and no sense that they took the situation seriously. What really shocked me was being told that the cockroach “didn’t count” because it appeared after we had already received our food and started eating. I truly cannot wrap my head around that logic. Rather than addressing the sanitation issue, they tried to smooth things over by bringing us free dessert. When we explained that we didn’t feel comfortable paying for food we couldn’t finish due to a clear health concern, they refused to offer a reasonable solution. I had to repeatedly explain that a cockroach in a dining area is a health violation, yet the only compromise they were willing to offer was taking one item off the bill, continually pointing to the free dessert as if that somehow made the situation acceptable. To make matters worse, the server kept coming back to ask how the food was, and when I explained that the situation was deeply unsettling and that no one seemed to care about the cockroach. She said that this was the first time this ever happened there, which is clearly not true because if you look at some old Google reviews this restaurant has this issue quite frequently. My question is- why hasn’t anyone looked into this? I go out to eat often, and I have truly never experienced customer service or food quality like this. The combination of the cockroach, the refusal to take responsibility, and the complete lack of empathy was astonishing. I will never be returning to this establishment, and I strongly suggest others reconsider dining here if they care about cleanliness, accountability, and basic respect for customers.
