Gorgeous place with just the right noise level to have a good conversation. Went here for lunch with coworkers; enjoyed the cocktails; guacamole was perfect; tacos were mostly good: crispy shrimp taco was disappointing with too much better and no shrimp taste at all, but the short rib birria one was delicious; absolutely loved shaved brussel sprouts salad, and the portion was huge.
My husband and I had such a nice time here during happy hour on Friday. The atmosphere is good — not too loud that you can’t have a conversation. The food was delicious and the prices during happy hour were amazing. The service was very attentive. Our server Cynthia was terrific.
lolita’s is so good! i went solo and had the sweet plantains which i had been craving, and the casa fries. the fries are huge and would be easily shared by two. The bartender was very nice and helpful!
Absolutely loved this place! The service was amazing from start to finish—everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. The food was just as incredible, making it a perfect spot for both lunch or dinner. I especially loved the chicken mole enchiladas—they were absolutely delicious and hands-down my favorite dish. You can really tell they put care into both the food and the experience. I’ll definitely be coming back! Their drinks are also great!
We had an amazing dining experience, and a big part of it was thanks to our waiter, Jean Carlos. The food was excellent. perfectly cooked steak, delicious sides, and a shrimp dish that was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. Jean Carlos provided outstanding service throughout the entire meal. He was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. His positive attitude and professionalism truly elevated the experience. The warm atmosphere, great food, and exceptional service made this visit unforgettable. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!
Excellent drinks, food and ambiance. Walked in as we were heading back to our hotel. Had great margaritas and the food was excellent. The bartenders were friendly and very courteous. Loved the Latin music and the chick ambiance. Had a great time and very reasonable prices. The cochinita pork for 2 was delicious. Highly recommend!
Wanted to check this spot out for a while so stopped by for a drink and sat at the bar. Very nice interior with an upstair. Large bar with great selection of tequilas (which i love) and a very cute diner back area. Very sweet bartenders, music was great. Def will be back to check out the brunch!
I would highly recommend Lolita for a night out, It’s such a beautiful space! The upstairs section has regular dining seats and its own bar. We ordered the Carne Asada and Birriar Tacos for our entrees, the cut was juicy and well seasoned, my partner enjoyed her tacos. The server recommended I get the sweet plantains as a side and I’m happy I did (ate it as dessert)! I tried the birriar old fashioned, which I found to be a unique take on the classic, would highly recommend. Management stopped to check in on us, which was a nice touch. His vibe is everything!
Lolita is a stunning and vibrant restaurant that masterfully blends modern elegance with a warm, lively atmosphere. The lush décor, leafy green accents, and soft lighting create a tropical yet sophisticated vibe. The menu features flavorful dishes like ceviche tostadas and expertly crafted tacos, each plated beautifully and bursting with freshness. The cocktail list is equally impressive—creative, balanced, and artfully presented. Service is top-notch, with General Manager Amanda ensuring every detail is perfect. Lolita delivers an unforgettable dining and cocktail experience that truly stands out.
We stumbled upon Lolita completely by accident while bar hopping in Manhattan, and what a great surprise it was! The atmosphere is wonderful, the interior is beautiful, and the drinks were really good. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back!
Walked pass this spot and loved the décor, so my friend and I decided to stop in for some drinks. I had the Lolita Margarita! at first I thought it wasn’t that strong, but it definitely kicked in and I really liked it. My friends tried a couple of frozen drinks and both were great too. The vibe is stylish and fun. Definitely coming back to try the food next time!
The restaurant had really great decor, super friendly staff, and delicious food. Guacamole is great, and so is the salsa (I wish there was more to accompany the nachos). Fish tacos are good - the cod is fried in corn flour. I really appreciate the fact that the restaurant was able to accommodate my daughter's request for just poached eggs! Here is what she thinks: The atmosphere was amazing, I really enjoyed the vibe, and the food was delicious! The egg was extordanry, yolk dripping out of the egg when you cut it, and everything was great!
Everything was great, the air was nice and cool, and the atmosphere was AMAZING. I loved the vibe, the light was dim, but still seeable. The tiles were beautiful, and there was a large wine collection on the wall. Everything was really aesthetic, and relaxing. The food was delicious, and don't even get me started on the poached egg- It was so good, the yolk was flowing out of the egg when you cut it perfectly, the food was a true masterpiece, not even the nachos had an imperfection. I just wish there was more salsa, because it was so good. The people were also really nice, and the service was amazing. I loved it here, I definitely recommend this place. 10/10.
My boyfriend and I went to Lolita today and it was amazing! We were greeted right off the bat by a kind server! We ordered from their happy hour menu that included three different cocktails (including a margarita) which were great! The Daiquiri was super strong and very good! Margarita was perfect and very refreshing! We ordered all three different tacos besides the cod (I personally don’t love cod) but I think the Birria tacos were our favorite! The Al pastor and beef was also great, as a tie for second! I also recommend having the guacamole!! We did end up having two to three different servers and had a hard time knowing who to ask when ordering more. But overall, we liked both servers and Richard was great!! Make sure you ask for him if he is working! He was very attentive and polite!! We will definitely be back for another happy hour!!
We went for after dinner drinks and loved it! Stayed longer than expected because the drinks were good and bartender was very friendly. Will definitely come back. Drinks: We got the Straw Hat and Las Mineras cocktails to start. The bartender made great recommendations for our next few rounds: Golden Hues, Painkillers (This), and Oaxaca Old Fashioned. Food: Couldn’t resist ordering the guacamole appetizer at some point. The portion looked small but it was actually very filling, and insanely delicious! Would go back just for the guac. Atmosphere: On a Saturday night ~9:30pm there were still plenty of seats at the bar. The place is spacious and upscale-feeling so great ambiance and mood. Seats at the bar were very comfy.
We came here on a Friday night after seeing a show. The hostess was friendly, and the atmosphere was chill. We were sat in the corner of the restaurant, with little ventilation so it did get a little hot. The food tasted good, but just like every other nyc restaurant, a little over priced. Overall, we enjoyed our time here.
Happy Hour Perks: Daily happy hour from 4–7 PM features drink deals and discounted tacos and guacamole. Atmosphere: Stylish yet casual–elegant interiors with tropical-inspired decor create a dynamic and inviting setting. ❤️ Solid Ratings: Strong overall rating of 4.4 on OpenTable, with highlights for ambience (~4.5) and food (~4.3). Reviewers praise attentive service and flavorful dishes.
Cute spot with a charming upstairs ambiance. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive, though it seemed like she was still learning the menu and had to check on a few things. The guacamole and oysters were really good—fresh and flavorful. The tacos, however, were a bit of a letdown and lacked seasoning. Overall, a decent experience with potential if they fine-tune a few things.
We just found this place quite last minute and was so surprised. The decor and vibe was great, the hostess told us about the owners design and furniture choices. We had two margaritas which were delicious We have the guacamole which was so fresh! The mains came, I had the vegan Tahoe which were honestly some of the best I’ve had. My friend had the pork tacos. All though very tasty she thought the size of the dish was a little small for the price.
Stopped in for lunch during a visit. Ambience 10/10 its beautiful, plush, vibrant. So cute. Drinks were good, food just okay. Chicken flautas 3/5 (no cheese, crema on side, due to friends dairy intolerance)- nice crunch, good amount of filling. Lacked flavor. Birria tacos 3.5 lacked flavor, I'm missing the boldness of the peppers/ spice. The consumne was just like a light generic beef broth. Cooked well and good amount of filling, they don't skimp on meat. Rice & beans - 2/5- rice or nice and fluffy + enjoyed the addition of corn. But overall lacked flavor. Brisket burrito -4.5 Drinks - like that they make syrups in house Lolita marg -5/5 don't let the carcao fool you its not the blue syrupy stuff You get in bars. Lolita salt rim is sooo good and brings it together and made it a five star rating. Paloma- 3/5 Ky/Kai provided great service. Very knowledgeable of the menu, helpful with suggestions and accommodating options that didn't include dairy. Recommend stopping for a happy hour if That's a thing. Food is not worth paying full price which is really tough to say because they service, ambiance/music made me want to love it so bad. Personally I'd only return for drinks and maybe chips/dip.
