Avis sur One Two Thai New York
Great place, a great owner who is from there and likes small talk and is super nice. Food was delicious were I recommend having pad Thai and the pineapple fried rice. Really come if you visit New York you won’t forget it. It’s a small place but don’t judge a book by its cover. Great sight of the Empire State Building . I’ve been in Thailand and it’s that level . Has Thai chefs and cooks and great atmosphere where I found the screen with Thai places very well done and executed. The prices are the BEST in the range you can have 4 pad thais for only $60
Came here for dinner with friends and it's a great casual spot for Thai food in Murray Hill! Since we came in a big group, we had to wait for some friends who showed up late and their staff was SO kind and patient with us (very grateful). My friends and I got their wonton soup, khao soi, pad kra pao, and pad kee mao. Everything was delicious. Their portions were huge for the price (everything ranged from $12-$16!) and it was a steal. Each dish was packed full of flavor and hit the comforting spot that I was craving for when eating Thai food. They also have a great happy hour, and I would love to come back here with friends!
The vegan and beef Pho were phenomenal! Went there with family and everyone who got the Pho said this is the best Pho they have had. I ordered the tofu bun and that was okay. I have had a better bun. We tried Peanut avacado sushi and vegetarian pan fried dumpling and they were both good. The restaurant has pretty dim lights. That was the only thing that I didn't love but I would highly recommend this place for a Pho.
The place is a small restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I visited for the first time with co-workers. The restaurant was full, so I had to wait about 10 minutes to get a seat, even though I made a reservation, but when the food came out, I could see why this place was so busy. Delicious food, great portions and an amazing lunch hour deal ($12/$13 entree + starter) Over the multiple times we have been here, our favorite dishes were the Tom yum soup, drunken noodles and the pad Thai. The spicy items are pretty spicy and I would recommend getting a dessert like the rice pudding (pretty good) to douse the heat.
Very cute Thai restaurant… Food - Amazing taste for all the dishes we ordered. Loved the - Khao Soi : tasted delicious, never had such a good coconut curry with egg noodles. Drunken noodles - tasted very nice The thai iced coffee was really good. I did not like the chive dumplings The crab rangoons were tasty too. Ambiance- The ambiance and seating is very cute. Small space like a thai cafe Service- The service was really good very quick and the server was very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Excccceeeeelllllent!!! Excellent food. Everything was delicious. What a delight and good surprise to discover this little place plus their superb back garden. Hidden spot that deserves to be more known. We were three so I had the chance to try 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. Everything was so good. Full of authentic flavors. Good portion of serving. Good prices. Drunken noodles, pad thai and duck, absolutely tasteful, flavorful, filling and we kept talking about that for at least a week. And that's how in New York it means it's good. We have 25000 restaurants and many of them are only a surface and so when one find the real great find, we have to let everyone know. Excellent and wishing you the best.
I love this place. Been coming here for 7 or 8 years. Lunch specials are great; dinner can be pricey, but 1) they give larger portions than lunch and 2) it's Manhattan. I've put a bunch of coworkers and family onto this place. Honestly, everything I've ordered has been good: Massaman curry, Bangkok noodles, drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, curry puffs, fried tofu... all of it. Highly recommend this spot.
Definitely above average authentic Thai food. I got the Tom Yam soup, fried shrimp roll and green curry with duck. The duck was really special to me as I had never tried this kind of crispy bbq duck before with curry sauce. Sipping a mojito with mango flavored as the curry was indeed spicy for me. Delicious.
PRO - Food taste and price CONs- ambience , atmosphere , service Google - 4.5 Yelp - 4.2 First timer . Was near 32nd street and googled for a Thai restaurant, and found this one with 4.5 stars ⭐️ .. of course I believed Google and I went right in .. the place was kinda cramped . There was some construction on the entrance .. there were 4-6 small tables and 2-3 large tables . .. Service was hopeless . The guy comes and almost demands us to order . We asked him some questions and he wasn’t patient to answer . The other lady was patient and listened. Ordered lunch specials .. Lunch specials were good . For about 12$ it was good and worth . Food was overall very good . Veggie spring roles were good . I ordered Pad Thai and it was good . Veggie fried rice was also good. .liked the food overall. Quantity was a little less but it was ok for a perfect lunch . If not for service and ambience this would have got 4.5/5 ..
They served me beef noodles after I ordered mock duck. I waited forever for my noodles and when they arrived, I dug in without looking too closely at the meat. I have not knowingly eaten beef in 20+ years, but as soon as I felt the gristly texture and flavor in my mouth, I knew something was wrong. I called the server over and asked what kind of meat it was, reminding him I’d asked for mock duck. He looked at the plate and took it to the kitchen. I watched him confer with the cooks, then he came back and offered to remake it. At this point I’m already 45 minutes into my lunch break and starving, so I agreed. The mock duck noodles I received were actually ok. When I asked for the check, he brought it over. I asked if anything could be done, given that he’d served me BEEF when I’d ordered a vegetarian dish, and he went back to confer with someone else behind the counter. He came back to the table and said “I’m sorry but we can’t do anything in the computer, I can give you the owner’s phone number though.” It’s completely unacceptable that service staff is not empowered to make these decisions. I was in no way looking for free food here, but even a gesture of a dessert, a drink, a coupon for next time… ANY acknowledgment of how royally they screwed up by serving a customer meat they didn’t order would have been appreciated. I gave two stars because this was my second visit, and the food actually wasn’t terrible the first time. Unfortunately, I will never return, not worth the risk of being given beef again. Imagine if this happened to a strict vegetarian. I would also avoid if you have any serious food allergies, since the kitchen is clearly not being careful. To the owner, if you’re reading this: it’s an absolute shame that you don’t allow your employees to resolve guest service issues like this. Horrible business practices. I rarely leave negative reviews, and this one could have been avoided with even the smallest acknowledgment or apology.
Giving 1 star because I ordered pickup for lunch and they didn’t include any utensils or napkins. How am I supposed to eat my lunch? Not every workplace has extra utensils lying around in the break room.
I told my name and that I'm here for the pick up order and no one came back or assisted me for at least 15 minutes. Turns out my order has been sitting there. When I explained, this employee's attitude was like 'so what, just take it', no apology. And I was not the only one faced this situation on that day. Don't just let the customers' orders sitting there, very unprofessional customer service.
I ordered from Uber Eats yesterday, and there was a “buy one get one free” deal for Thai iced tea, but they only sent me one. For the red curry, they charged an extra $3 for chicken — which I’m usually okay with — but getting only 4 pieces of chicken is not acceptable. This was the worst Thai food experience I’ve had. I definitely do not recommend it. There are cheaper and much better places around. For $33, I expected a lot more than just a red curry and an iced tea.
