We picked up the boxes here which were offered on The New York City Pass and it completely exceeded our expectations! The sandwiches were fresh and delicious and there was also a small bag of chips and a bottle of water. We would absolutely recommend!

I wanted to host a picnic in Central Park without having to prep the snacks myself, and I remembered Perfect Picnic from my walks in the neighborhood. I placed an order for a Charcuterie Board and Small Cheese Board, and the mix and quality of items was spot on. At first it looked like there may be rain, and Wendy responded quickly to my email that of course I could pick up my order earlier than previously scheduled. Luckily the forecast cleared, but when I went to pick up I realized I couldn't carry everything to the park by myself. That's where, to my surprise, the wonderful Alex offered to help me get everything there - thank you again for a wonderful experience! I'll definitely be coming back.

Perfect Picnic is in our neighborhood and is the greatest thing to happen to our neighborhood in years. The quality of the food is consistently amazing. The people that work there are so absolutely knowledgeable and helpful. The selection of things to bring into the park or home is fabulous! Everyone should be so lucky to have a place as good as the Perfect Picnic.

We ordered catering from Perfect Picnic for a UN side event. A mix-up happened with the food and we were a bit short---but Wendy and team went to great lengths to solve the issue promptly (and with good humor) and the event went very well. Great food and better service!

Wendy and her team were an amazing partner in pulling off our 70 person picnic in Central Park. They set everything up early and beautifully and were generous with letting us go a bit longer than expected. The sandwiches and platters were all high quality and delish. The blankets and pillows and chairs were adorable. My team was so impressed and happy. She is a great communicator and flexible with weather - up till the day before your event you can reschedule for a rain date. I would 100% recommend this as a full service option for a park picnic. My only suggestion is to request extra ice for the water and lemonade on a hot day - when we did they were great about bringing some back for us quickly.

This is a convenient lunch takeout restaurant with quality fresh food. We picked up the lunch included with the NY City Pass here on a weekday. It was handed to us less than two minutes after ordering. The bread and fillings on our sandwiches were good. I would order from here again.

I bought the Gold Experience for two people from 6-8PM and because of unforeseen circumstances (crane caught on fire and crashed into a building causing major traffic) my partner and I arrived at 7:30 PM! We only had 30 minutes to enjoy the picnic, which was such a bummer but I was communicated with properly by the employees through email as well as text, and my picnic was (without asking!) extended till 8:45 PM. Giving us an hour and 15 minutes to enjoy ourselves. I was so thankful and glad, we watched the sunset and everything was right. An hour was genuinely MORE than enough to enjoy everything from the champagne to the incredible sandwiches and brownies they made. After that, we walked away from the picnic and strolled through Central Park. Awesome experience and customer service and staff and food. Expensive, but if you want a magical moment, well worth it.

I ordered 3 sandwiches and I really loved the size. The only thing is they come pre-made with mayonnaise or mustard and my kids didn’t like that. I will come back to try more flavors .

Food itself was very good (cured meats and cheeses), but we spent nearly 40 bucks on a picnic for 2 but we were not given the baguette that was supposed to come with it. Some components that I imagine were supposed to go on the bread felt pointless and it was not filling enough for 2. It was like receiving a pizza with no dough. Unfortunately we only discovered this when we opened the wrapped bag after we already hiked 30 min away into central park. I understand mistakes happen, but this led to a disappointing picnic for the price we paid. Willing to adjust score if rectified.

As other reviews have stated, do not expect the GoCity pass to be a good experience with this company. Back in March 2025, we had a group of about 20 people visiting NYC and planned to have a nice picnic in Central Park. We expected to be able to walk in and get the boxed lunches - with a few sandwich options, chips, apple, water, and cookie for each box - and enjoy the day. This is what was promised in the advertisements and on the website. We arrived around noon, but the door was locked and the worker inside waited 5 minutes before begrudgingly opening the door and telling us they were "baking bread". We asked how long it would take, they said 15 minutes, and we planned to come back. We told them how many boxes we needed and waited. When we came back 30 minutes later, we still had to wait another 15 minutes to get the boxes. We only got sandwiches and chips, not boxed, but bagged. When we asked where the apples, water, and cookies were, the worker just said "that's what you get with the picnic. We told them we were advertised that we'd get more, but they doubled-down. There were two other groups/families in there at the same time and they confirmed what we thought. They were just as frustrated. I guess since we only were paying GoCity and not the Perfect Picnic business itself, we just had to suck it up and take what we could get. We took our sandwiches and went. When we opened them, it turns out ALL our sandwiches were made of cold bread (not freshly-baked as they suggested), tomatoes, and cold mozzarella. Completely unappetizing compared to the Italians, turkey subs, etc. we thought we were getting. We ended up cutting our losses and bought some pizza from around the corner, as well as some cookies and waters from a convenience store. We should've started with that instead of taking an extra hour out of our day to have one of the worst picnic experiences in the world.

I was exciting to visit this place, with the money i spent I can grab better quality and bigger size if you visit a Deli, I went last Tuesday and the girl who helped me was rude and even when said thank you didn’t even respond back! I visit this place around 4 pm , and my plan was try fist before pay bigger event. Avoid this place, I’m completely disappointed

What a huge disappointment! We used the GoCity pass for what was supposed to be a “perfect picnic,” but it was far from it. In total, we paid 160 euros (40 euros per person), and for that price, we got very little in return. Each of the two bags contained 4 tiny bags of chips and 8 mini rolls – I’m talking really small, about the size of a hand. The food was awful: dry, tough, and tasteless. We didn’t even get an apple or anything fresh, just these sad, tiny sandwiches and chips. No water, nothing else. It felt like we were completely scammed. For the price we paid, we expected much more, especially since a picnic should be a decent meal. Even with the GoCity pass, this was definitely not worth it. If we hadn’t used the pass, we would have felt even more ripped off. This experience was nothing like what a picnic in New York should be. We honestly feel like we’ve been taken advantage of. I would not recommend this to anyone – it’s a total rip-off.
