Avis sur Pronto Pizza New York
The pizza was really good but the garlic rolls were AMAZING!!! Super friendly staff. Will definitely come back!
I fell in love with this Lil pizza joint! Came all the way from New Mexico, to say good bye to my best friend and found the most amazing pizza and calzone! Can't wait to come back!
Stopped in after going to 9/11 memorial. The pizza was amazing! They had so many pizzas to choose from. Everyone in our family had different slices and we all loved them! Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!!
Stopped by Pronto Pizza at 114 Liberty St and their Margherita slice was seriously one of the best I’ve had 🍕 Fresh crust, rich tomato sauce, perfectly melted mozzarella, and just the right touch of basil 🌿 Simple, classic, and absolutely delicious 😍 What made the experience even better was the super friendly Egyptian guy behind the counter. He was welcoming and full of good vibes 👍 His son was helping out too and did a great job counting the money. Future accountant in the making 😂 We also had a great chat with the cleaner from Ghana. He was kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly. It’s always nice meeting good people along the way 🙌 We’re visiting from Toronto, Canada so you can imagine how much we loved it. This slice made our New York trip even more special 🍽️ Fast service, great prices, and awesome people. If you're in the area and want a real New York slice with a side of good energy, this is the place to go 👌🔥
My family and I stopped in here for lunch while in NYC for lunch. We had heard great things and decided to try. The pizza was crispy, flavorful, and large! We dined inside, which was a nice atmosphere. There is plenty of seating for large crowds. There's additional seating upstairs as well. On the tables there is parmesan, red chili flakes and oregano to top your pizza with. The pizzas were beautifully displayed and crisped in the oven then served to you. The crust was just enough, nicely crispy and loaded with toppings. There were a wide variety of types of pizzas available, and it was a hard choice to choose just one. Each person in our family tried a different pizza, we cut off a small piece of our own to share with each other. Every single bite of every pizza we ordered was good. It was all so good we decided to try their cheesecake and damn it was even better! This place is close to the 9/11 pools and memorial, they had a picture and im assuming an America flag that flew the day of the attacks, they displayed both proudly and respectfully. It was touching to see and allowed us to stop to take a moment to pause and reflect before we ate. The staff was very nice and quick with our order. We would definitely recommend trying this place. It was a delicious addition to our NYC trip.
Happened to be walking by and saw the sign in the window advertising Gluten Free and practically ran in. Unfortunately (but understandably) you cannot get the GF by the slice but it was only $18 for the entire pizza and it was made to order. This was the best GF pizza I’ve ever had! I believe it was the owner who took care of us and he was great as well. Will definitely be back!
You might miss this pizzeria because of its bland, ordinary facade, but please don't. If you're looking for pizza in the vicinity of Ground Zero, then check this out! The service is fast and you'll have classic, cheesy, flavorful NYC pizza 🍕 on your plate before you can say, "Cheese!" Prices 💲 are reasonable and the food is outstanding.
Pizza was good, place could use a cleaning. Staff needs a personality
1st night in NY and we wanted something quick for dinner near our hotel. Pizzas were great but the staff really needs to smile or welcome the guests. Remember there are too many pizza places in NY so a hello will not hurt. Pizzas were good but I am not too sure about the facilities as rest of the place did not look that clean. I am not sure on the bill either compared to the prices advertised but did not say anything as was tired/jet lagged.
My first visit to NYC, so I'm not an expert on NY Pizza. I went not long after they opened, so the pizza was fresh and good. Wasn't as crispy as Joe's that I'd ate the day before, but all in all thought it was good. Some of the reviews were bad, but my experience was different. Close to WTC memorial and just felt like the NY experience. Price was about the same as other places unless you get premium toppings which throws you on the $6 a slice range. I opted for the pepperoni which is $4.50 a slice. They do have a clean restroom as well.
NY pizza under represented… There are better NY pizza that is better priced. It wasn’t bad, but that was not a good example of a NY pizza. It was more blended and much more expensive than the real deal. Truth is, you should only come here if it was convenient and you are a tourist just trying to check the box to say you had NY pizza once…and it wasn’t impressive.
The crust was nice and crispy on the Honey Mustard Chicken slice, but a little soggy on the Broccoli Chicken slice. Both slices were "meh" regarding the toppings. I like chicken and these pieces were okay, not very spiced, but also not too small or dried out. Red sauce on the Broccoli slice was forgettable. Honey mustard definitely tasted as described. These topping combinations aren't common, but calling either a "specialty" slice to rack in an extra couple of bucks is kinda laughable. Price was high for a couple of slices of pizza, but you have to account for how close Pronto is to a couple of tourist spots. I wanted to try them anyways, so I sucked it up and opened my wallet. Owner/manager pushes you to get a second slice, even if you intend to, before you even finish telling him the first slice you want. I watched it happen to the guy in front of me and then he did the same to me. I would recommend walking the extra 3–4 blocks and getting Joe's for way better slices, or just about any other spot, to save a couple of dollars per slice. NY Pizza Suprema is much further away, but has breaded chicken cutlet pizza slices that are definitely worth a look if you like chicken on your pizza.
Chicken roll seemed like it was made the day before. Very dry and crunchy. White slice had cheap cheese and no taste.
Tourist trap. Pizza was undercooked and not tasty at all. Needed another 20-30 seconds in the oven. Flies everywhere on the 2nd floor. Will not return. Only real positive is the guy at the front was nice.
Tourist trap, worst pizza in Manhattan, avoid at all costs. The stuff they serve in here makes public school cafeteria pizza look nice by comparison and it costs as much as the Eataly next door.
Falsely claims to be wheelchair accessible. We arrived thinking it would be wheelchair accessible due to the signs outside. After bringing this up with staff bluntly said they aren’t accessible and don’t have a ramp but they put a table and chairs outside for us. 2 minutes after buying our food another the owner comes out and says we can’t stay as it’s ’not legal’. After telling him another staff member allowed us to sit he rudely says we can only stay for 20 minutes. We ended up getting up and leaving due to the attitude and lack of respect shown. The quality of food was average but didn’t reflect the prices they charge, and there seemed to be a mismatch between the prices advertised and what we were charged.
