Avis sur Teriyaki Madness New York
This is perfect Seattle style teriyaki! Juicy chicken, char, and great sweet and savory sauce. I had the spicy chicken, and it tasted like meals from Seattle area places I would frequent growing up. I like the switch from a simple iceberg lettuce salad to wok cooked veggies at Teriyaki Madness. A nice deviation from Seattle without changing the core: the char grilled chicken. The location is a bit out of my way, but I see myself coming back if quality matches what I ate during my first visit. Note: The music was a little too loud for my taste, so I'll probably get takeout next time.
Ordered delivery, at first the reviews almost made me but risk it but glad. I did great chicken teriyaki bowl! The portion and taste and looks are all 5/5
I absolutely love this location! Hardest working staff/manager and delicious food for a fair price. I highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki and Teriyaki Salmon bowls! The flavor is on point! I always choose the perfectly steamed brown rice and gorgeous veggies on the side. I've attached a photo of the Teriyaki Salmon bowl which is my usual. Do not be fooled by the drizzle of sauce on top of the filet, the salmon is well marinated to perfection through and through. The sauce on top is just the final touch. I am always warmly greeted as soon as I open the door and I love that the kitchen is open so you can watch your meal be prepared in front of you. The dining area is spacious and CLEAN. I highly recommend this delicious restaurant! Kind and caring staff/manager and a wonderful addition to East Harlem!
The chicken was so delicious, everything was delicious. With the regular size we ate 2 people.
Pretty good /staff was welcoming/ food was served hot and had its own distinctive flavor . Place is clean ! When I’m back in NYC definitely stopping in for another bowl
This place is pretty new, I tried the salmon over yakisoba and it was Damn good. My friend got the katsu and I have to admit hers looked so good. She preferred their fries rice and tried my noodles and agreed they were great. The noodles were so gooey and her rice was also very favorable. The salmon was topped with a very thick and intense sauce in a pattern rather than the whole dish being covered. It was really good but if you wanna cut on a little sugar, it's easy to opt out. Price was not bad!
I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki, fried rice and veggies for delivery Food came quickly and was packaged neatly. Rice was flavorful, chicken was really good and has a grilled flavor, veggies cooked nicely- soft but still a little crunch Priced reasonably I'll be back!

Despite the bad reviews from a couple months ago I decided to try it out to see if the changes had been made. And it was a great experience. The lady at the cash register was very polite and kind and the food quality and taste is what you expect from teriyaki madness!
I will return whenever I'm close! Get the orange chicken and egg rolls with the delicious sauce. I'm not sure why the reviews are low, this place should be a 4. Pros: The food is delicious! The orange chicken I prefer and the teriyaki chicken. I recommend the orange chicken and the chicken egg rolls which comes with a delicious sauce! The food is made relatively quick and fresh. The place was clean Cons: Not in a friendly looking area and for some reason the reviews are low, trust me the food is good. It seems slightly expensive. If you drive parking will be tough because you will need to wait at least 5-10 min.

I always buy from this store but I am highly upset because I get home to eat my food from hard day of work. I found a piece of hair in my food now this never happened before but I am a grown woman so for me to even play those type of games is crazy. I called the store to tell the manager so he saying this is rare ok cool yea it might be but but he's cutting me off and he is very rude always have been why would I call and say I have hair in my food and I don't which I did. Working in a fast food restaurant and restaurant in general hairnets should be worn to avoid this type of situation. So he told me to seal the bowl and bring it back and he will give me another bowl which is cool but I don't like rude people
Got the orange chicken. The food tastes great, but the portions are pretty sparse. Would not bother to go again for that reason.

Let me start off with the good. Music, customer service, attitude, speed, food (taste). Now for the not good (horrible) - the restaurant claims that the regular chicken teriyaki has "almost 1/2 pound" of chicken. The second I was handed the bag, I knew that this was not true. When I got home, I weighed the chicken (and oil and sauce), and it only came out to 157 grams (that's 1/3 of a pound). The food tasted good and fresh. But is it worth $13? Nope! Definitely not.
Ohhhh man ; where do I start ; I will start with the positive , the chicken teriyaki was great with the fried rice and veggies , actually was a good combo to get with the drink and egg roll , 4/5 but the egg roll is 2.5/5 ; so let me start with my meal , the brown rice superrrrr bland ; no taste no flavor , basically the spoon had more taste then the rice ; the steak was told me to that it had no sauce on it and I got a steak and brown rice , and taste like it had sauce , unless I’m tripping , but that was not plain steak , man just look at the picture it looks like it has sauce , I will say the best part of my meal was the lemonade with ice ; cost almost 40 dollars so I decided to try the noodle , and man , 4 dollars for plain noodles that taste plain , can’t go wrong I guess no flavor at all , I will not come back I basically got rob ; very disappointed 😢 very bad eats
Just order vegetables bowl.$13.33. I asked for cabbage and noodles. Medium bowl . I got bowl of noodles and a few pieces of cabbage. Very disappointed. Taste good. They should been a shame of themselves.

Extremely rude workers, don’t know if you guys know how to properly train and motivate your workers to encourage them to be kind and maintain a friendly and overall amazing customer service, but restructuring and proper disciple is clearly needed in this location! I stopped by after wanting to come here for awhile and decided why not? ( Order #74327429) And was expecting to be greeted and treated with respect, instead i was treated hostile and as a nuisance, like what??? So unfortunate! Where is the proper training? I myself work in food service, and run a location and the number one rule in fast food is to always leave an impression with the customer. Do better, hopefully the next time i stop by to grab food things change, if not it’ll just be another bad review and we all know bad reviews affect the stores metrics and statistic!
My experience at Teriyaki Madness on 125th Street was extremely disappointing. The restaurant lacked cleanliness, smelled smoky, and the staff was unprofessional. I believe a health inspection is overdue The cashier was unfriendly, coughing near the food, and my order was poorly prepared—burnt chicken, excessively oily noodles, oil spilling out container and undercooked rice. This location consistently fails to meet expectations, and the environment feels chaotic. I will not be returning, I couldn’t even return it by time I opened it I was on highway.
I order pick up online. The food is basic. I have had better teriyaki chicken rice bowls in the mall. I wish I had the time and patience to take it back and get a refund, but they were short staffed and slow. I just have to take a lost. I don’t recommend teriyaki madness. I would recommend panda express they have more flavor and the quality is better. I bought my wife a bowl also and she feels the same. They could also use some more help maybe start hiring more employees. Me and wifey are not coming back. They didn’t even put napkins in the bag. We had to wait and ask for them. Maybe the could have two cashiers instead of one but it doesn’t matter. First and last time. 👎
Extremely disappointed. I’d been waiting months for this establishment to open in my neighborhood, I’d even gone on the website to see what options they had. So of course I was excited once they opened. The place was clean and the service was fine but the food was a waste of my time and money! I ordered the chicken teriyaki with noodles. The noodles were good and the veggies were nicely seasoned but the chicken teriyaki was dry with no hint of teriyaki. I asked for a side of teriyaki but was told they ran out, it didn’t dawn on me till I got home and opened my container to see dry chicken that THEY REALLY RAN OUT! I understand being new to a neighborhood and possibly running out of an item but how are you selling chicken teriyaki if you have no teriyaki? Take if off the menu if that’s the case. I really wanted to like this place but I’ll pass. The presentation was also not great. Update to the owner, I would never spend a dime in this place again. I honestly feel insulted at the fact you’d reply with a ridiculous response. I’m sure you saw the photo I posted of the order your restaurant served, why would I ever return? Would you spend your money on that? Do better.

The employees are rude and you literally pay like $30 for a bowl and a drink and the food is terrible. Smelt off abd weird and tasted nasty. I made a mistake of going there, so you dont have to.
Service is terrible, employee tossed my food across the counter and I acted as if I was bothering her. The food presentation was disgusting and the food taste like death.

went to this place yesterday ( saturday ) around 3:10 and the light skin older black lady was the rudest person i ever met in customer service,,, she never smiled and only complaint about needing a cigarette. i needed to used the bathroom ann she watched me attempt over and over again after giving me the code to get in the bathroom,,, i asked her could she open the door and she scream out he’ll know and to hit the door harder. i kicked the door and it opened, she could have said that at anytime but she watched my failed attempts over and over. food was good but i’m not going here anymore, first impressions are everything.
I can't say anything about the quality of the food because their customer service was so bad I just walked out the first and only time there. I walked in at the time they open exactly at 11am today. The guy at the front counter was doing prep work so I politely asked if they were open. His response to my question was "if we weren't open the door would be locked" Very rude and unnecessary comment considering the guy was doing prep work on the register area at the time they should be welcoming the first costumers of the day. Horrible customer service. Retrain your staff
