My family and our friends had an amazing time at The Wilson. We had friends from DC who came to NYC for a weekend visit and stayed at InnSide. We visited with the intention of going out into the city but had such a good time getting apps at the bar that we stayed the entire time at The Wilson. Our server, Carlos, was incredible. The food was delicious too! Got the Steak Frites but substituted the fries for the delicious apple mustard brussel sprouts because we had truffle parm fries for apps. I was blown away at how perfectly done my medium rare NY strip was & how well the small drizzling of sauce complimented the beef. My friend got pasta bolognese & let me have a bit. Was tasty! Two in our group ordered burgers & gave them high marks. (Also tried a bite of one of the burgers and it too was mighty tasty.) We stayed for five hours & thoroughly enjoyed our time. We will recommend and will be back!

We were visiting Central Park on a very cold afternoon in December. We had our dog with us and looked up dog friendly restaurants. We found The Wilson and had a great dining experience. It even snowed while we were eating. Monica was amazing with us and kept making sure that we had everything we needed. She was friendly to our dog as well and the doggie menu was a big plus. The food, drinks and service were great! We will be back soon!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and perfectly set the tone for an amazing meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was just right without ever being intrusive. The food was was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can tell there’s real pride and skill in the kitchen. Portions were generous, presentation was beautiful, and every bite was better than the last. It’s rare to find a place where everything hits the mark, but this restaurant truly delivers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the most wonderful experience at The Wilson in New York City while celebrating my daughter’s birthday, and I truly can’t say enough good things. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel genuinely welcome by the manager, Carla, and the entire team — the kind of warmth that instantly sets the tone for a special meal. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, cozy and festive without being over the top, making it feel like the perfect place to celebrate. The food was phenomenal across the board: the pizza was absolutely delicious, the calamari was perfectly cooked, and the real showstopper was the cookie skillet — hands down one of the best desserts we’ve had. It was the kind of dessert everyone talks about long after the meal is over. The service elevated the experience even more. Our server, Ileana, was outstanding… attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making the afternoon special for our girls trip. She helped make my daughter feel celebrated, which meant the world to us. Wilson was a great place to spend thanksgiving. The staff were very helpful and attentive from the hostess, to the waitress to the rest. Karen was our server and she was very nice, respectful and very attentive. We brought our pup with us and the cater to her as they did to us. Great place. Definitely a place to come back to. I recently dined at this restaurant alone and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was lovely. I went for the surf and turf, which was very good. Not the absolute best steak I’ve ever had, but definitely above average in quality. Carlos, my server, was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, the service was excellent, and I had a great time. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at The Wilson, the meals were delicious (particularly the pasta dishes) and the seasonal cocktails were creative and flavorful! Dessert was just as excellent and we highly recommend the NY Cheesecake because the blueberry compote was exceptional. We appreciated the ambiance and the space wasn’t overcrowded. We’re looking forward to coming back again the next time we visit the city.

We had such a delicious meal at The Wilson. My husband and I enjoyed recommendations by our waiter Karen. She recommended the Brussels sprouts tacos and French toast. Both were absolutely delicious. My husband had the salmon bagel and enjoyed it as well. Our service was amazing! Karen was very attentive and checked in with us often. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy the food here again!

The food was quite tasty. We definitely had a fancy twist on both fish and chips and a cheeseburger. I enjoyed the Modelo beer on draft. We went on a Wednesday night, and had no trouble getting a table without a reservation. As expected, there were Manhattan portion sizes and Manhattan prices. But overall, we would go here again if in the area.

The location looks really nice. We sat with our dog on the covered patio which feels like part of the inside. Overall, the entire restaurant looks really nice. The Service is okay/good, the servers are well informed about food allergies, but sometimes an order goes missing. The food itself looks good for most of the time, but my gluten-free egg Florentine was not worth it, the portion was way too small. The gluten-free avocado toast looked really boring on the plate, the presentation was not good period.
