Good grab and go spot for tasty Cuban classics. A set gets you a main and three sides which makes for a nice and substantial meal. Of those I’ve tried, the pernil is my favorite but be sure to take the green sauce they offer when you check out.

While primarily a takeout place, indoor seating is available at the back. $17.47 (tax included) gets you a main dish and 2 sides. The portion size is adequate with flavors best described as hearty home cooking. With the pernil (roast pork) make sure you ask for the green hot sauce and the pickled onions. And where else can you get fried yuca?

Food is good and you get a sizable amount for the money spent. Very popular during lunch hour during the work week. The lunch platters are a huge hit with customers. Not the best but definitely worth the trip. Nice dine in area in the back.

They do what they do very well. I got the pollo picante and the camarones al ajillo. Both were delicious. No complaints here. 4.5

Nice small Cuban restaurant. I ordered online through their website and went to pick it up. They have a buffet-like display, and the food looks good and tasted good. Prices are reasonable, there's no seating

Ordered the pork chops with rice and beans and green plantains but they missed the beans. Called them and they offered to delivered the bean to me but at this point when you are hungry and ready to eat doesn’t matter because by the time the beans would arrive the rest of the food would be cold and saggy. Overpriced for sure. How can they consider rice and beans a side for a platter. What kind of combo is that?

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Tina’s Restaurant delivery service. I placed an order for my brother, who was receiving chemotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering (160 E 53rd St.), and the delivery driver refused to bring the food beyond the lobby, despite my clear instructions. When I explained on the phone that my brother was too ill to come downstairs, the driver simply said “lobby” and hung up on me. I had prepaid for the order and included a 20% tip, thinking the service would be respectful. Instead, it was rude and inconsiderate. I called the restaurant to request a refund for the tip, considering the circumstances, but they refused and were just as unhelpful as the driver. If the restaurant is unable or unwilling to deliver directly to patients at this location, they should have notified me before accepting the order, like other restaurants have done in the past. The insensitivity and lack of customer care from both the driver and the restaurant were shocking. I believe my request for a tip refund was reasonable, given the situation, but the restaurant’s refusal speaks volumes about their poor service. I do not recommend Tina’s Restaurant to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a reliable and compassionate delivery service.

They don't even care to know the dishes how it's called by Cuban culture, and it's supposed to be Cuban cuisines. terrible customer service and very small portion for the price
