Personally I wouldn't go for the buffet style food in the back but the boys at the sandwich counter are making amazing fresh stuff. Huge fresh cooked egg breakfast bagel sandwiches, delicious baguette sandwiches with quality meats, all to order. Plus mini grocery area for anything else you need.

There is a lot of options of hot food and fresh fruits. The eating area is big and comfortable. The chairs let you lean farther than you think, but I think it's to have space for your bag or coat. It's great that it's open all the time. Staff is sweet.

I loved the ease of ordering quickly without being too crazy inside. The omelette was amazing and came with plenty of food. We also came back another day and ordered the amazing smoothies and latte. Perfect size and reasonably priced. Everything here is fresh and made to order, and the blueberry cream cheese seemed to be handmade. It was so good!!

Best bagels in all nyc , we came as a school trip and employees did everything right for 34 people. They are super nice. If you are looking for healthy and tasty breakfast you should totally check them out. Atmosphere is the best.

This 24-hour convenience store is a great resource for finding a variety of items. They also offer a canteen with spaghetti and salads for those looking for a quick meal. The service was friendly and helpful. Please note that they only accept card payments; they do not have machines for mobile payment options like Google Pay or Apple Pay.

Huge selection of food, the buffet food is 12.99 per pound and everything looks quite good. The people working here were also quite nice

This was a nice place. Lots of food options, from meat to vegetables. Buffet had a lot of things on it. Only takeaway is that it can get very expensive for the buffet. They charge by weight so be careful.

This place is AWESOME! The food bar is literally so fresh and full of incredible options, including sushi, various salads, salmon, and fresh berries. The food was delicious and reasonably priced at $12.99 per pound. You could eat lunch here multiple days — there are loads of options!

I really enjoyed shopping here. They have a lot of nice food prepared fresh. I did not go upstairs to the seating area, just to the main level to get some food to go. Not sure if it's just that it's NYC and in order to last as a business you have to have great service, but this place easily deserves 5 stars. I am surprised that it has a 4.1 average on Google. Absolutely recommend!

Great place to go in Manhattan that has real food options as opposed to fast food. It's located near Macy's 34st, so there is a mix of fast food and restaurants which can get pricy. Here you have the option of getting a sandwich/ painting or salad bowl with yor choice of meats and veggies. The main attraction is the buffet. They always have great options. As the day goes on, food becomes scarce but you can always count on a bowl of soup. They have salad, fruit ( always grapes and pineapple) BBQ ribs, mashed potatoes, corn, Brussels, string beans, meatloaf, and meatballs in brown gravy, teriyaki chicken, chicken and broccoli, coleslaw, fried shrimp, brown and white rice. As of 10/2024 food is 13.50 per pound, so be mindful as you load up. Self serve, dinning area upstairs. They have an array of drinks and blended health juices, chips and sweets as well.

Nice option for eating in city center. You can choose from prepare food (paid by weight) or different dishes prepared at the moment for really kind service. You can eat upstairs in a correct space with restroom. ONE REALLY POSITIVE POINT: nice expresso coffee!

One of those great NYC Korean run delis that have everything! Including a huge upstairs dining area with bathrooms. I ordered a bagel with egg salad ($6.95). Of course it was over stuffed and delicious. They have a full on hot food buffet as well.

Lots of choices here. The quality of the hot and cold bars largely depends on what time of day you get food. At 5pm for example I've found it to be acceptable but not very fresh and tasty. At noon it's been pretty good. There also sushi and a deli and some other goodies. Beer and wine is sold here too. It's clean with seating upstairs.

So many choices! You can go from unhealthy to healthy in just a few steps away. Prices are decent for the area. Upstairs seatings are especially helpful during lunch time. Staffs are friendly and always keep everything fresh. I love the little clear plastic bag for some reason

I didn’t plan to eat here but popped in for lunch in the middle of a snowstorm as many other restaurants on the block were closed. They have a counter for ordering sandwiches and such, plus a pay-by-the-pound salad bar & hot foods bar. I did a box from the hot bar and ate it upstairs in their on-site dining room. Some of my food choices were delicious (the rice and sesame chicken), others were only ok (broccoli was undercooked, dumplings were flavorless). It was good enough for a quick lunch so I didn’t have to roam around in the snow looking for other options.

Ordered a deluxe cheeseburger but got charged for the brunch burger, which includes egg, avocado, and bacon. When I pointed it out, the guy argued with me and claimed it was the tax which was absolutely incorrect. The burger itself wasn’t bad and since I was on expense account and it wasn’t that much I didn’t make a big deal of it but be careful when you’re ordering what you get charged for.

I ordered a hot chocolate, very disappointing, they charge by the weight but that's a bit weird too. Expensive for what you get, not value for the money.

Toast Cafe Brasserie—Robbery in Progress, No Ski Mask Required From the looks of the place when you walk in, Toast Cafe Brasserie seems well-maintained and decent. Clean buffet stations, organized layout, the promise of variety and friendly staff. Looks can be deceiving. I filled up my plate with an assortment of steamed vegetables, fried rice, orange chicken, and Mongolian beef. Ordered a green juice and proceeded to checkout, where I was hit with the first shock of the day: a $35 price tag. I did a serious double take. That’s the price of a decent entree at an actual restaurant in this city. But I was already pot-committed and hungry, so I begrudgingly paid and took myself upstairs. The upstairs dining area is essentially a mess hall—no style, just plain chairs and tables that scream “eat fast and leave.” Fine. Whatever. At least the food would be hot, right? Wrong. Surprise number two: the food was at best five degrees below room temperature. Lukewarm bordering on cold, which is unacceptable for a buffet that’s supposed to be rotating fresh food all day. I went downstairs and asked if they could heat it up. The response? A dismissive “no.” Not “sorry, we can’t,” just… no. So I took my sorry plate back upstairs and tried to power through it. Surprise number three: the food was just not great. The meat was rubbery and overly seasoned in a way that suggested someone was trying to mask poor quality. The sauces were cloyingly sweet with zero depth. The vegetables had no life—steamed into oblivion and flavorless. Here’s the thing: it’s one thing to serve lower-quality food at affordable prices. It’s another thing to charge premium prices for moderately good food. But charging $35 for terrible, cold food with dismissive service? That’s not a business model—that’s a scam aimed at tourists and people who don’t know better. Toast Cafe Brasserie is banking on foot traffic, location, and the assumption that you won’t complain once you’ve paid. They’re right about that last part, but wrong if they think people won’t warn others. Stay away. There are a thousand better ways to spend $35 for lunch in Manhattan.

Spacious upstairs seating, buffet food was pretty good but I’ll avoid it next time. The price is 13.99/lb and my total was $30, it sure as heck didn’t feel like 2lbs worth of food. For that price, I might as well actually eat at a restaurant.

Food was very average. We got 2 items and 1 of them was good. Staff was nice but they didn’t even provide a takeout box (without charge)

I’m pretty sure the man at the cashier just stole a bottle of blue moon that I had just bought while he was putting it on a plastic bag! It’s Thursday Feb 26, 2026 around 8pm.

Food was horrible. No flavor and it made my stomach hurt after a few minutes of taking the first bite. I tried their buffet food and I ended up paying almost 60$!!! For about 3lbs of food. I would not mind paying for food but tbh I want my money back… I really don’t know how this place is running itself with this type of food. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!!
