We normally like Salvatore's. Last night was the first time we had such a bad pizza. If it wasn't such an odd night we would have taken it back. The crust seemed like it was a frozen one not the fresh made like we have gotten before. We also requested extra cheese and I feel like we got less than a normal amount. This was the first time we had been so disappointed with a dinner from there. Sad, we might not get another one for quite a while

I was really hoping this time I would be surprised and it would be good but this was the worst I’ve experienced. The order was an hour and a half late. Showed up cold not to mention the pathetic looking boneless wings we received (photo attached). When calling the store was told there was no one to speak to about it and they couldn’t find that I even ordered. Put me on hold comes back only to say “oh yeah he was busy and we can’t give you your money back”. Will NEVER order from there again.

Called at 8:08pm when they close at 9pm and was told that deliveries are running 1.5hours behind and since they close at 9pm they wouldn’t take the order. No apology, no offering of waiting the time, and I understand things happen but not even asking if I wanted to pick it up instead…. Not good for the business and Not professional or very good customer service IMO.

Door dashed an order for the chicken Plate with beans and Homefries. Ordered 3xtra toppings and didn't get anything. Last time I ordered the same meal the chicken was over cooked. Save your money go to Tom what's insted if you want a trash plate. I'm done leasing my money here

So they where running a deal and by the end my totals didn’t make sense to me so I called very politely and ask for her to just explain it to me if my pizza was $21 and my wings where $20 “the wings where on a deal” it didn’t make sense how I paid $52. She said if you look at the bottom you clearly got the discount and I said oh I’m sorry I didn’t see that, she then hung up on me with out me even getting the chance to respond. The craziest thing is when I got the pizza it was so undercooked and I wasn’t even going to complain that’s the part that really upset me. I was just going to throw it in the over and cook it. So overall the pizza was undercooked and the manager was super super rude.

Ordered 2 subs for takeout at the counter and sat down to wait. They took phone number and name. Said 15 minutes tops after about a half hour went to counter to wait. Saw a bag sitting on the rack. After at least another 5 minutes counter person looked at bag and handed it to me. I asked how long has that been sitting there and he said 5 minutes which I know was a lie because I was standing there longer than 5 minutes. I placed order at 1:23 did not get 2 subs until 1:56. I'd probably still be sitting at table waiting if I hadn't stood at counter. There was only my wife and I and 1 other party in the store. I understand waiting for food to be made but to have it made, bagged and just sitting there the hot sub getting cold and cold sub getting warm while I waited is why I am not happy.

I was at an event, I stood in line for 45 minutes for a slice of pizza, three people in front of me they ran out of pizza. This is normal so I don’t care, but they didn’t offer any service to me for waiting for so long, they didn’t put me on like a first dibs list for when the extra pizza came in or something so I could skip the line for my slice because I already waited 👎 0 stars

Very Disappointed, its been awhile since we have ordered from the Newark Salvatore's. Tried to call the store the next day since it was late when we ordered. Couldn't get anyone when we called. Ordered Wings well done, they were far from well done, very rubbery, and under cooked. There was barely any sauce on the wings. Garbage plate, the fries were like mush. These are things we have ordered in the past and never had an issue.

Terrible! My roommate ordered chicken wings. No blue cheese!! He ordered 2 extra blue cheese dressings. Charged him for them. I had 2 bites of my grilled chicken sandwich. I threw it out. It was overdone.. It was tough and rubbery. It tasted like the chicken was perhaps going bad. $38.72 never again.
