Absolutely enjoyed IHOP I placed an order over the phone for pick up they said 10mins. So I took my time because I placed my order at 7:04am and I know they literally just opened up at 7 so I figured it would give them time so I arrived at 7:24 and stood In the lobby for another 7mins before someone acknowledged me. So finally someone asked me if I needed to be seated I said no Im picking up a order I called in an she said okay you need to wait and took 2 other families to be seated that came in while I was waiting. I wait 10 more mins then someone asked what I needed told them my name for the order and someone else just walked in that called in a order so they took her name as well. So I'm waiting 4 mins she comes back with both oders and I was standing at the register and the employee said since you have patience to the other woman I'll do yours first. Before I could say anything the woman aromatically said no she was here first. An I told the employee that was just rude I'm obviously standing at the register because I was here first and have been waiting in here for 20 mins and I waited an extra 10 mins to pickup my order because I Kno you guys just opened. She rolls her eyes takes my card and walks away. I said excuse me where are you taking my card no answer so I repeat myself and she shouts out from the back of the restaurant obviously I'm running your card to pay for your food. When she comes back I asked her why didn't she use the register and keypad right here at the desk she said because I can use whatever register I want an this card reader up front doesn't work. The food was the only thing that was absolutely delicious and amazing. They need to work on customer service for the morning.

Another favorite place of mine. The food and service is great. Fresh, delicious and meals come out hot. Sometimes you have to wait bc it is so busy. It is worth the wait I give you my word on that. Their pancakes are awesome. I have eaten there quite a bit and enjoyed the atmosphere as well. The service is very good and Employees very nice and helpful.

Great experience here each time. The professional staff asked my husband if he was in the military and provided him a discount. He is very bashful about using his veterans card, but the staff set him at ease. They ate efficient and friendly! The food is great and you can taste the freshness of everything! Definitely recommend this family friendly IHOP!

Seated immediately on a busy morning. Our waiter was very friendly and efficient. We had the 2+2+2, an IHOP standard. Pancakes are good, but smaller than you would get at a diner. Love the coffee pot at your table, old school. Have to mention the special pancake of the week: orange/vanilla... really enjoyed them. Nice start to our day.

I was a little concerned when I first got there because they appeared to be swamped, which they were. After being seated, we were greeted by Sam. She was enthusiastic and did not seem bothered by the lunch rush. She got our drinks right away and took our orders without writing anything down. This is always concerning for me, but she nailed it! Sam visited our table frequently to check on us and was super friendly. If IHOP keeps hiring servers like her, I will be sure to visit again.

Always love this location. Every time we go (family of 6) they are busy, but I am astounded at how efficiently they work. We are greeted and seated within 5-10 min. Our drink order is almost instantaneous. And the food comes out so quickly. Keep up the great work!

Ordered takeout and when I got to the store and waited inside for over 5 minutes, I was told the restaurant was closed and my food would not be coming. I asked for a refund and was told I couldn't get one until the "district manager" could start it today. That from disembodied voice of a "manager" who wasn't in the building but on the phone of an employee who acknowledged me as they were leaving. Needless to say, I still don't have my refund. And no communication from anyone.

Food was decent. I think the omelets needed to filling distributed more evenly, a lot of just egg toward one end. Our waitress was fast and amazing. Apologized to every table for "long" wait. All of our good was out in less tha 15 minutes. Clean and pleasant atmosphere.

We go here often to see some of our favorite staff. They are polite, efficient, and very accommodating. My other half loves the chicken and waffles. I am a sucker for their omelettes. We definitely recommend some of their sweet crepes but their chicken and pesto crepe is delicious!

May be one of the last still standing but my kids had a blast and we made my mothers 76th Birthday. The food was great and affordable.

The food was awesome! Great breakfast food! I had the breakfast sampler. Eva, our waitress was not only adorable, her attention to detail in providing excellent customer service was beyond reproach. I travel for work and will be passing by the area in the near future, and I just found my "go-to" spot. I highly recommend this location. They have their act together.

I sat down and ordered my food, after 20 minutes I asked the server where my food was. He replied that it was given to a to go order. I don’t know how this happened as I was the only customer in the entire restaurant. I left the restaurant after I was told this. I would given this experience zero stars if possible. This visit was on 3/20/2025. I returned to this restaurant 3/31/2025 my visit today was much better than the previous one. The food was great and the service provided was excellent. Today was a five star experience.

IHop is, by far, the most hearty restaurant in all of Newburgh. It has best breakfast selections that have been considered the best hearty courses. These 8 selections include an egg omelette, stacks of pancakes, waffle sticks, French toast, Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, strips of bacon and the classy Eggs Benedict. It also comes with a lunch, dinner and dessert menu: These 7 selections include chicken tenders, chicken quesadillas, mozzarella sticks, cheesecakes, crispy shrimp, onion rings and the biggest, mouthwatering Cowboy BBQ Burger.

Good portions, good service with your basic diner vibe. Too bad though, about all the big chain diners in Newburgh. The only thing keeping them open is the fact that they are nation wide. Possibly a tax write off or corporate divides their profits creating some kind of tax benefits. It would be awesome if Dennys, Perkins and IHOP would merge into one super diner. They could consolidate weekly customer base and really turn a profit. Anyway that's the only complaint I have about IHOP. Not really a complaint though.

The food is always hot and delicious. The service can be a little bit slow, but it's well worth the wait. It really depends on when you are there how quick the service is, but I guess that goes with any restaurant. I miss there linder, crepes - that was my favorite go to meal here. They still offer crepes, but just not those anymore.

This IHOP location is exactly what you expect an IHOP to be. We were seated pretty quickly, even though it was a busy Saturday morning. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Made us feel comfortable and had no problem adjusting the order to our preferences. Food as expected and left satisfied. We're not talking gourmet, fancy selection but typical breakfast food with some modern additions like avocado toast and gluten free options. Calories are indicated. Overall pleasant experience.

Place is great, staff and crew are courteous, we ended up there 30 minutes before closing and they were just as lovely as if it were lunch time! Cassie was our server and she was wonderful and interacted with us throughout the meal to make sure everything was good. Which it was!!

I enjoyed my visit here despite the few negative remarks I do have. We came during the morning which was busy so we were informed it would be a 30min wait. We didn't mind and we ended up waiting a little less. Once we were seated I did notice that because it was so busy they cleaned off tables in a hurry but didn't clean or sweep under the tables. I have a toddler so thats a no no for me. The waiters were very nice though and patient with me. The food came out great. I would definitely visit here again.

I ordered 2 Turkey bacons, 2 scrambled eggs, some grits plus a nice cup of (peppermint tea). I liked it. The employees were nice and the service was good. The place was nice. Not too elegant and not too gloomy. There's a parking lot in the front and back of the building.

This was my second visit to this location, it was better than the first. The first experience consisted of a 35 min wait after the host gave me a 10-15 minute wait time. Not bashing the host but the SOP was severely lacking in execution. I still give this review for star because the waitress and food were the saving grace. They're seemed to be more than a couple of annoyed patrons who were waiting before and after me. This visit was much better. We were seated within the wait time given and the service was exceptional. Can't go wrong with the Poblano omelet either.

We had a large group of 9 and our server was fantastic. Food was good,usual IHOP choices. I love the new thick French toast it's delicious. Several of us had that in a variety of was.

IHOP is always bomb but they tend to be understaffed sometimes so wait time may vary. Other than that, love coming here with friends.

I've come to enjoy IHOP breakfasts and now go there somewhat regularly. Everything is fresh and tasty, and the service is always competent. When I order eggs over easy that's how they are served. The yokes are runny and warm versus dried up and hard as so often happens. A great selection of offerings and prices are reasonable. Overall grade B.

Nice place to have a breakfast. Pancakes were mid. But the waffles and crepes were really good.

I haven't been to this place in a long time. Now I remembered why. This place no matter what time of the day you come is always busy, but that is not the problem. The problem is that they can't keep up with the customers and due to that the service is 0 to none. I asked for refill that came 15 mins later. Server came to my table dropped the food and said I will bring the drink after which took another 5 mins. After this he kept going to other tables and we at this point been ready for the check. Took about another 10 mins. We were ready to pay but he didn't show up till I got up and said let's go pay upfront. They he came running after us saying we take the check I said well I'm not gona sit here another 20 mins before you decide to come to check if we are ready. My conclusion is I think the food is descent but I waste too much time just waiting around. This is just not for me, I won't be coming to this location. Maybe I will try another location. I don't want to blame it on the waitresses but the manager should be checking on out.

Not that I need mountains of food but the food got lost in the plate. The sausage links were smaller then my little fingers... the waiter was the only aspect I'd rate excellent. I wish I got his name. He was very attentive, got our order accurately and even got my check to the register and back. I'll get his name eventually and edit this review.

Not sure what it is with IHOP but most locations always seem to disappoint one way or another. Service took a minute to happen. Food took almost three times as long to arrive. Waitress gave my husband wicked attitude when he politely asked if she could take the hash browns back and have them actually melt the cheese on top of it. It wasn’t requested rudely or would even out her way since she was going back to the kitchen to get the rest of our food anyway. She gave him a nasty look and told him he was going to have to wait in the most rude tone I’ve ever heard on a waiter/waitress before leaving around the corner. Two other waiters/waitress’ were feet away and witnessed the whole ordeal as well. The waitress went out of her way to pick up the plate and take it back for him. And the other waiter even came back around later on to help clear off our table as plates started to be finished. Our waitress then came back around like nothing happened and tried to be friendly friendly-a little too late for that though. Food itself was decent enough: Presentation sucked compared to other visits (and I always get the same thing). The place was clean. Service was as stated above. Could have been our waitress’ off day or something but it’ll be a minute before my family goes back, if at all.

Overnight worker thought it would be good idea to treat team to ihop. Ordered and said 25 mins 45 mins later still no food and employees who missed their lunch waiting for me to bring it back. Big time disappointed!

My husband & I decided to grab a late breakfast as we waited for our dog to be groomed. We hadn't eaten at IHOP since our sons were elementary school age. The food actually was pretty good, but what spoiled it for me was the slow wait staff, messy bathroom, dirty dishes left on several tables, etc.

Man I was looking at my initial review of this place and wow has my opinion changed. Before I was excited to visit again...now not so much. Getting seated was quick enough, but then we were forgotten about. No silverware, the waiter took forever to come (after I had to flag someone down) he stated he didn't know we were his tables. Took awhile for the food to come although it wasn't that busy and the spacing between when he would check on us was long. Food, ordered an omelette has shrunken from when I last ordered it. Before it filled the plate, not the plate engulfed it. This place isn't what it used to be for sure....

Giving an updated review after a 1 star review from Mother's Day. We gave them a second chance and thought a random Friday night would be a better time. Staffing still unfortunately seems to be an issue here, but our waitress Mariela was working hard tending to all the tables. Mistakes were made with some of my orders but I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. We tipped her 👍 I had the BBQ Cowboy Burger and my mom had the Classic Burger. We enjoyed our food! Nice and clean, experience always depends on the waiters, over the last dozen times we were here we noticed the staff forgetting to come back after serving dish to ask us how our meal tasting...which if u ever worked as a waiter before you would know to check in right away with the customer after your served them. Last time they served the mashed potatoes iced cold (no exaggeration)and waiter was hard to find and by time we found the waiter to tell her what was wrong, we already ate half way through the rest of our meal on the plate that WAS warm, so by the time she got us the replacement for mashed potatoes we were already done eating because she took so long, she apologized said they forgot to warm the mashed potatoes and offered a small percentage off the final cost, but honestly the whole experience was disappointing for our children and made the whole experience unpleasant. We loved IHOP for many years, we went here plenty of times, but after this experience my family has decided to not eat here anymore.

The facility has dirty floors and the windows did not look they were cleaned in some time and we're loaded with greasy fingerprints. The waiter was very nice and checked in frequently with me to make sure all my needs were met. In the middle of my dinner, a guest brought their dog in and nothing was said to them. Not was the dog wearing any type of identification stating it was a service dog. In fact, the male owner of the dog said to his wife when he brought the dog in that he didn't want the dog to stay outside by itself. I was immediately turned off and wondered what else did this restaurant neglect to follow up on or codes to enforce. I left and immediately tried to call several times to speak to the manager. Instead of interaction with the manager, all I received was a pick and then hang up. I did this several times and after I gave up trying, one of the workers called me. Not the manager. The worker asked if I was trying to call the restaurant and I replied yes and explained why. The worker said they were have phone issues. I told them that I was going to call corporate office and told them there was nothing they could do. I discovered 15 mins later that there was a message left on my cell phone from the manager that must have been upset and yelled loudly in the phone....DONT CALL HERE NO MORE. I guess they didn't have phone trouble after all. Just another day with another poor attitude. Rude and unprofessional.

Eat here 3 days a week. Food great but after you get it forget getting anything else as the staff stay seated in side area chatting and never come. Last time here and really love the food.

My family and I visit all the time. For the most part we have no issues. Today, I visited with my son for his birthday with 2 friends. He was given a bday card with a $50 gift card in it. He forgot it on the table by mistake. I called 20 minutes later and the manager said the bus boy probably threw at out. A bright blue envelope with a hard item inside? I won't be returning to this location. 😕 My kid lives this place too. I would have searched the trash. So disappointed in the management.

Every time I come here, I definitely feel welcomed and always love my server! But the last time I visited, I got two sides of hash browns that were burnt and not edible at all, plus my turkey sausage was undercooked. I love this place, but it has really downgraded over the years. Today, I ordered through DoorDash and the same thing happened again. I ordered sunny side up eggs and got two boiled eggs instead. My sausage was overcooked this time, and my hash browns were burnt—these are usually my favorite! I don’t mean to sound harsh, I love this place and want to visit more often. The kitchen really needs to get its act together. I expect to get what I’m paying for.

Have not met one nice, polite or welcoming person there. Their facial expressions are NOT inviting. The Manager(s) need to heavily evaluate what culture they are cultivating over there. Female staff have subtle attitudes that customer dont need to have given to them being PAID CUSTOMERS let alone the etiquette of being polite and welcoming whether you dine in or take out. My last experience was a Spanish lady who gave me attitude and mean face as if she didnt want to serve me. If I was your was your own people or ethnicity, would you conventiently serve me better? Unacceptable and NOT Hospitable! And Hospitality is what IHOP needs to be known for along with IMPROVE quality on food taste. And overly sparing on sauces too. Food taste quality over at IHOP have decline alot. But overall they plate the food really well.

Visit here frequently and service is usually good but last two times I went I ended up just leaving after being seated down and waiting for 10 minutes without even some coffee...I don't make scenes and get dramatic but 2 times in a row...I ll give it one last try maybe but sheesh at least get guests with drinks and I always order the same thing...im back 2/28/25 530pm restaurant empty servers loud and service slow as hell only like 3 tables in here slackers guest should get drinks within 2 minutesnof sitting down

We came in with smiles and looking forward to breakfast but we were ignored. We were seated in a booth at the very end of the restaurant even though the booth right before it was empty. The woman that seated us wasn't very friendly and gave me the impression that she was bothered by such a lowly task. She plopped the menu on the table and walked away. We waited 15 mins and still no one showed up. People were seated in the empty booth next to us about 5 minutes after us and had a server bring them coffee and start to take their order about 5 mins later. We noticed that and got up and left. I guess this IHOP doesn't like serving customers that come in with a smile or maybe we are invisible? But that's okay. We don't need to come back

The menus are covered in syrup. I’m writing this review from table 16. Been seated for almost an hour and my kids still haven’t been served. 3 children bored and hungry dangerous combination. This is will probably be the last time I dine here.

I kind of wish Google had a negative star rating. I am normally a fan of ihop. But this location is an appalling, dreary, ghetto, hole in the wall. My family and I went in because of an advertisement posted on the windows. "Kids eat free from 4pm until 10pm" - or so the sign said. When it came time to pay they told us we couldn't get the special because we didn't specifically tell them we wanted it in advance. Since when do you have to tell them that you want the deal they are offering? 0 out of 10 stars. Would not recommend!

We were seated 10 minutes after arriving due to a small wait time. (No big deal) The waiter came and we placed our order (at 9:30am) At 10:25 after watching a family of 5 (that was seated 10 minutes after me and my daughter) receive their food we began to question the waiter (who had not come to check in with us the entire hour we sat there) as to were our order was and why it has taken an hour. The manager then came and apologized saying the cook messed up the order (two omelettes) and had to make them over now. This is unacceptable. #WorstService

We were welcomed by a nice lady and sat in a booth. We waited 7-8 minutes for our server to come and take our order, which would be understandable if the place was packed but it was only 1/4 full. The server had an attitude towards us for no reason. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. We asked for the pancake combo but wanted to sub the bacon for something else since we don’t eat meat. However, he answered our request with grudge. Then our plates came and it had the smallest hash brown portion size ever I saw in an Ihop. The location and the taste of the food was good. However, action needs to be taken in these matters.

I kid you not we were sitting here for 30-45 minutes not being served not even being checked on. The server walked past us multiple times and then just walked away from us mid order. We also got plastic utensils and were told there were no more?? But the people right after us got them sooo I’m confused. Highly disappointed I would give 0 if I could.

I did not enjoy my experience at this IHOP at all, our server Kenneth was very rude and seemed disinterested. He didn’t accomate my request to change the meat in a plate with something else which is something that other IHOPS have done for me plenty of times. Im honestly shocked how this person is a server because I doubt he gets any tips with that attitude of his. Ill never be going there again

The food is decent, but they often forget to pack items you've ordered on a mobile order (Even though there is a receipt showing every item ordered), which results in you having to spend more time, money and energy to do a second pick up, for things that should've been included in the first run. This happened on two separate occasions. Also, the one time we did want an issue on their end rectified, the manager Miracle did nothing to resolve it, except offering me to spend (more) money, by time dining-in, just to receive a 'complimentary stack'. What a great resolution model! The food is decent, but decent food and lackluster customer service, especially for your own mistakes; is enough reason for me to spend my money where it's valued. You can honestly go to any diner and get the same quality of food.

Almost every sunday I come here for takeout. Almost every sunday they get out order wrong. This time, i ordered the breakfast crepes, a short stack, and a side of hash browns. Took them 25 minutes just to come out with my food. When i open my container, i see there’s tomatoes on my breakfast crepes. They aren’t supposed to come with tomatoes nor did i ask for them with tomatoes. It took them 15 minutes to remake the them .. I should’ve just gotten a refund for them honestly. And every time i order a short stack I get one syrup and one butter.. i just want to know why they’re rationing the syrup and butter. would not recommend.

Getting worst by the visit, lack of staff, waited 45min for food to be served

Just the worst. Seated us at the back directly next to the bathroom/kitchen/bus station. Had to listen to yelling, the door opening and closing over and over, plates, glasses and silverware crashing every 10 seconds. Waitress brought our food out at different times. Never put my meal in at all after having to repeat our orders about 3 times so she could hear/understand what was being ordered. The condiments were disgustingly dirty. Just wanted to have a nice meal with my family.

The waitress was very rude. We waited almost an hr for our food. All in all absolutely horrible service and food.

About an hour of waiting for a very dry T bone meat. They tried to remedy it with another T bone meat heated by the microwave and not on the grill. The waitress’ attention was despot when delivering the bill. I WOULD NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

They are now open 27/7 and I went in around 2am for food. when I first got there, no one was at the front desk and we waited there for over 15 minutes. we tried calling the store multiple times and no one came to answer the phone. After a little bit we noticed the waitress laying down in the booth with headphones on watching a show. Shortly after another employee came out the back and sat there on his phone so we walked over to them and they told us to hold on. once the waitress finally got up and brought us to the table we saw over 7 dirty tables sitting there with food/drinks and flies still on the table. it was disgusting so we decided to leave. Never going back!!!! They need to fire the waitress before they lose even more business.

For the most part the visit went well. What completely ruined the visit was when I asked a manager a question. She was walking by my table and I asked about making the payment. She didnt look at me and said,"see your server". Completely infriendly and unprofessional. She could have said your server will take care of that, and maybe looked at me. But she didn't. I felt like she didnt have time for me, and i was one of the only customers there. There are other restaurants i can visit. I dont treat you loke crap, and i expect the same in return.

This place is managed so poorly. We’ve given this location so many chances. Everyone we encountered here was unfriendly. We had to ask for dishes for the apps. She brought one small plate for 4 of us. The food came and one dish they cooked the eggs wrong. They were so runny. We asked the manager for 2 more orders of the bottomless pancakes for the 2 bottomless meals we ordered. This was the first and only “refill” we got. They came over to ask if one of us is “eating all that by yourself” and make sure we’re not sharing pancakes before they put the order in, which we weren’t. Everyone had their own meal. Super weird and VERY uncomfortable. They bring out one of the orders. And we have to ask where the second one was and the waitress was confused and told us we didn’t order a second one. Honestly the whole thing was weird and felt like we were haggling them for the bare minimum. We spent a good 45+ minutes with this whole ordeal of ordering/receiving 2 pancakes and everyone was ready to go by that point. The management is so so bad here and we left feeling so uncomfortable and like we did something wrong when we didn’t. We won’t be coming here again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Paper cups, heard employee another guest they ran out of spoons. They weren’t even busy. Our waitress was amazing tho. I feel bad for the actual employees there as it was clear that management today was the issue.

Horrible service. Didn't get drink order untill she came for food order then had to ask to get our drinks after waiting awhile. Food came and cheese was cold on top of my omelet, hash browns were not cooked all the way. Had to finally get up and go to kitchen to ask for refill. They were not busy at all. Not a good experience would not recommend! Mayra was our waitress.

Worst service customer ever had. I understand being short staffed, but after asking to sit so we could see where our car was parked and being told it was OK we were ignored for almost 15 minutes to then be told we couldn’t sit in that section didn’t even get a glass of water. We left right away. Will never go back and we really liked the place

IHOP Food is usually good but this location has some issues. Pancakes were horrible.. over cooked, dry, thin and crunchy not thick and fluffy. Waffle was overcooked dry and burnt on one side. Place was practically empty but took 20 minutes to be seated. An hour to eat and the food sucked. My children didn't want to eat. Waste of money. Never again. Dam shame IHOP. NEVER AGAIN!!

Me and my family came here the other day ! we were at party of 5 ! we sat down and looked over the menu we noticed no one was coming up to us and finally the manager asked us if we were being attended and we said no . she took our order drinks and another lady took our food order . we waiting probably 40 ish minutes for our food . server comes up to us saying the chef broke one of his legs and there’s was gonna be a delay . Mean while there a table next to us who sat AFTER us , got there food ! There was just a bunch of food coming out so I didn’t understand . we don’t know if we went there on a bad day but really got bad service ! We never got our food . We decided to leave cause I had to go to leave due to work. . I hop has always been my fav breakfast spot but I didn’t like the way we got treated ! If you have somewhere to be maybe don’t stop at this place before hand you might be be here 2 hours .

By far the worst meal I’ve had! 1) they forgot the pancakes that come with the meal 2) the sirloin tips looked like they were boiled and were definitely not medium rare as requested or had any flavor, majority of the pieces were straight fat 3) hash browns were not cooked hard……. Will not be ordering from here again
