Had a gluten free diner who gets a quarter pounder. They don’t do lettuce wraps so we request extra lettuce. McDonald saves $$ because no cheese or bun but then charge you 20 cents for the lettuce?? Doesn’t seem fair.

Stopped by this place to grab a Big Mac meal. The restaurant was clean and quiet. Enjoyed my professionally prepared Big Mac meal. Negative points were that the cashier (maybe the owner, a 50-60 year old man) was not professional. The restrooms needed a code and you should wait for an employee to enter that code! Also, the cashier put my order in a bag without a confirmation!!

This is not the first time I order Table service in this restaurant. but instead of bringing it to the table on a tray, they put it in a bag near the cash register. this time they did the same again. I waited for my order for 10 minutes, and it was in a bag, during which time all my food got cold. After the remark, they finally brought me my order. "with a great burger"

I get angry everytime I go to breakfast at McDonald's anymore. The kiosks are slow and unintuitive. I'm usually sweating by the time I finish ordering If you get the order incorrect because of the way the menu is displayed it takes even longer. At least the waitress didn't get too mad at me for messing up the order. Bring back the fast counter service and earlier indoor dining. The drive thru is always open way earlier than the counter and it makes me mad. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

The restaurant itself was clean, but I found the restroom situation a bit frustrating. You need a code to access the restrooms, and customers aren't allowed to have it. Every time you need to use the restroom, you have to wait for an employee to enter the code for you. I found that to be inconvenient. I hope the manager considers changing this policy. It would be much more convenient for customers to have easier access to the restrooms without needing to wait for an employee each time.

Today is June 12, 2025, all the employees who worked in this restaurant at the cash register and issuing orders are extremely impolite, rude and you have to wait an extremely long time for your order. I do not recommend this place. (especially the girl with long blonde hair was super rude and unprofessional 👌)

The chicken strips tasted like gummy chewy rubber. I couldn’t get off the toilet for 5 days. I felt like i cleared my intestines. Felt like i got factory reset. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Don’t buy the chicken strips unless you wanna suffer in pain for 5 days. Thanks.

Every time I want to buy something to eat from Drive-Thru, they make me go around in circles again and again. It's a really slow store and they don't fulfill their responsibilities...

Reply to Owner: I already did! You obviously missed that part. They didn't offer refund or redo of the order. I further stand with the one star wish I could do NO Stars for poor reply from owner. This isn't Newport Beach excellence that we strive for here in this city. Original: I ordered tonight from GrubHub and paid $1 extra for faster delivery. 🚚 It arrived within 30mins. I got a Happy Meal and some chicken nuggets. The food was cold as if it was in the fridge. The fries were cold, so cold my toddler even said yuck they are cold. I didn’t believe her and they were cold to the touch. The hamburger was cold. The chicken nuggets cold as well. There is no way this got cold to the touch from a short drive from PCH to the Balboa Peninsula. I called McDonald’s and the manager said sorry as to acknowledge the error but didn’t offer anything, other than to tell me to take it up with GrubHub or my bank. I did notify GrubHub they said contact McDonald’s. I asked him when the owner would be there to discuss this and he said he didn’t know. I am disappointed in this McDonald’s. I will not go there again. I will drive to Costa Mesa on 19th St, where I have never had a problem.

This morning I ended up at Mc Donald's Newport Beach, I ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel and asked for it to be toasty. Well I get my order and when I'm ready to start driving I noticed my bagel was burned not toasted, I went back there and their reply was but you wanted it well done, and I said toasted not burned. I overheard them making fun of something before I got my order and I am sure they knew it was burned but still gave it to me. You know know how bitter burned bagels taste right? Anyways I got a new one but not before going to the agravation.

I’m extremely disappointed with the management at this location. The latte machine has been broken yet again—this is about the fifth time in the last six months. When I politely asked the manager if they could offer any accommodation for the inconvenience, she refused and essentially told me that if I didn’t like it, I didn’t need to buy anything. This is unacceptable customer service. I expect better consistency, professionalism, and respect from a brand like McDonald’s.
