The girl at the front taking my order reminded me of my daughter she was very soft spoken very pretty and very sweet. The food came out hot and the vegetables were really good. Not disappointed at all.

Busy busy but good and fast service. I go here once a week. Favorite is tostada chicken salad with yummy cilantro dressing or avocado burrito with green somewhat spicy salsa. This place works if you are in a hurry and want good food. Enjoy.

They just remodeled, it looks nice. The only thing I didn't like is they made the salsa bar one sided. Otherwise looks great and they fill your order as fast as possible. Food is good.

I love coming to this place, clean, salsa bar is excellent, quick and hot when you get your order. I never get tired of their food. The stuff quesadilla is really stuff with delicious and fresh avocado , yummy !!

It was my husband's birthday and he should get you know a nice atmosphere and relaxing dinner but we were on the road and it was kind of late but OMG this food was delicious & fresh, I had the shrimp and chicken tostada salad and my husband had the grilled chicken black beans and rice. I love going to this Pollo Loco, the cashier's are always pleasant and the manager Yessi is the nicest. The food is always consistent as far as taste, it's a good deal especially if you want to avoid fried food.

We ordered a 4 piece meal and when we got home we realized there were only 2 pieces of chicken instead of 4. So we drove 10 minutes back to el pollo loco and Maria went above and beyond to correct the mistake of her coworker! She gave us 3 pieces of chicken instead of 2 and also upgraded our sides to a large all with no added charge. She was very understanding and patient and she should definitely get a raise or be the next manager if she isn't already!! Amazing customer service!! Thanks Maria!!

I went here several years ago, as I have a long time Friend who lives nearby, before I moved out of State, and I thought it was AWESOME. The parking lot is a mess, as are postage stamp sized shopping centers throughout Los Angeles. The location was busy, though the professional staff served us quickly. Also the 'Goodie Bar' was well stocked. I enjoyed my visit tremendously.

This restaurant is by far the best El Pollo Loco location that I have visited. I always order ahead and take it to go. It's a little further away than some other locations l could go to, but it is worth the drive. The orders are almost always ready when I get there. They are also correct. I have been to other locations, and the order has always been wrong. The staff are very friendly and ask if there is anything that I need. This seems very rare compared to the other locations that I have visited. Today, when I arrived, the order was ready, and the gentleman behind the counter asked me to check it before he sealed the bag. He was very nice. Staff definitely have customer service skills, which is definitely a plus. I have not been disappointed any time I have visited this location. I have never actually eaten inside the restaurant, but it always seems clean. It's is always a great experience overall.

The best experience I’ve had at a Pollo Loco. The employees were very kind to me. As soon as I walked through the door, they had big smiles on their faces and were very friendly. The food tasted great and the workers got my food out very fast. The place was also very clean. None of the tables or chairs had any leftover food or any drink residue. I will definitely be coming back here all the time.

Most of the times it’s ok service and food. Sometimes they put less chicken on the pollo bowl. I order the two and three pcs combo and it been ok. Which they put at least three tortillas.

The food a course is delicious but the service can be a little nicer every one is so rude, like the giving you a favor by taking your order.

Wait wasn't too bad for food. Although management needs improvement as there was short staffing, long lines,out of salsa, and no change for the register leaving to be card payments only.

There are some places whether mainstream or not that I want to keep to myself. I am constantly reminded of this movie where Sean Penn does not take a picture of a majestic cat high up in some mountains. The person with him is stunned by Sean’s action, but Sean explains some camera shots are best taken with your mind. Those are the priceless ones. This hidden gem is one of them. The inside might have changed throughout the years but the memories last a lifetime. So why write a review about them? Well some this place is not a secret and many people eat here and just enjoy the food. Others want to read that you are not wasting your money at some mismanaged place. This is just a snapshot of when I went. I am sure the upkeep is above and pollo loco’s standard of cleanliness. Since sometime during Covid this pollo loco had a small salsa bar cart. That is no longer in use but it is left in the dining area as a grave reminder of how it used to be pre Covid. So post Covid you have to go up and ask at the counter for fresh Chile Serrano or a.k.a Serrano peppers. Which whoever was there supplier those peppers could not be messed with just by anybody. You needed to make sure you had a gut of steel to endure the fifty shades of green your stomach went through. They still do practice Covid guidelines. There is plastic dividing you and the cashier. At the time of ordering. The scene was a mixed of good burger, colors and blood in blood out. Only with hats and not bandanas. The only color they were representing is black. As I’m placing order the cook is looking through a small order window while another employee is standing seven feet away, near the window. All these employees starring at you as if making sure you are just ordering and not some bad scene of a drug deal going bad. Still the feeling was more of a movie. I order two chipotle avocado burritos and a 2 pc leg and thigh meal. Now I broke my own protocol or tradition. I ordered the meal as an extra. Did not know that this meal did not have a drink included. By this time the guys for description purposes I will call the cook and the bouncer, are having a casual conversation after assessing I was just ordering and not there to cause trouble. So I’m looking at the menu and see that the meal that have drinks with them are described as having a drink those that don’t are replaced with some side entree of rice, beans, and Mac n cheese. So I go back and ask the cashier to assure what I ordered did in fact with a drink…. Or not. By this time the cook and the bouncer stop having a conversation to look at me as if to see if they needed to step in. I could see this through the corner of my eye. The cashier girl with a soft spoken voice tells it does not. So I ask if I could get charged for a drink. I pay I walk away. Now the lobby has some customers or if it is preferred, guests. The guests are far apart in dining in tables as a reminder of post COVID’s unconscious mind set. Hey, when in Rome. We see a table that is not cleanest but it giving space to those other guests. There was food on the ground as if the guest turned zombie while eating what they ordered. Enough to know some thing happened but not enough to telll what this possible zombie feasted on. I get to sit down and a minute later my order is ready they call out the number. I get my order from the bouncer and walk back to my seat. Now the food for the most part is what keeps us coming back. Some franchise don’t cook the chicken all the way, and I have seen actual blood and chicken juice drip out from one bite. We all know the light pink color thereafter exposing near the bone of the chicken. At the time I did not know about reviews. So yes this was years ago and that is mild ptsd. Still it is there where we have found throughout years that there has been consistency…. Until now. Not really on food quality but the making of the burrito. Seems like there is a special skill obtained to do this. A well wrapped burrito can go through about all the bites with out unwrapping. I know photos would have done justice.

My coworkers & I order the Classic Chicken Tostadas often. We enjoy this delicious food. Today the chicken was overcooked & dry. We asked for extra dressing we received 1 extra. We will order again, BUT if its dry it will definatley be our last time.

The skin on my chicken was tough and couldn't really enjoy it. The chicken was overcooked slightly and a bit tough. I wasn't overly impressed with the coleslaw. I will not return.

I come here often since it's a nice restaurant that provides a simple yet delicious dinner for my family. However, my husband recently ordered from here online, and it has been two days since we have heard back with a refund since we did not ever receive our food that day. There was no indication that the place was closed, and yet we were allowed to order and was told to come pick it up. I cannot check if they are open in the morning and afternoon since we are all out of the house and the kids are at school. I tried calling multiple times and there is never an answer. I would love to hear back from someone to address this problem, thanks!

This location is really busy and not a lot of parking. The food was fresh and hot. Try the new street corn pollo bowl it’s pretty good. The green salsa is hot but tasty. Seven out of ten recommend. The location was clean and staff was professional.

My assumptions were after placing my orders for take out, everything would correctly be in my bag. I usually always check the order before leaving a restaurant but I was in a hurry and didn't this time. Well I should have. 1/2 my order which was fully paid for was missing. Unfortunately, I was too tired to return to have my order of food corrected. Always check your order before leaving!! We, (I) cannot assume people will follow through in doing their jobs correctly. Even one as simple as following and placing the proper order of food in your bag. It was upsetting

Service was timely and friendly staff, but they are not clean! horchata was watery, tables were not wiped down, they also didn’t have a mix of chicken when we ordered the family pack and the restroom looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. We won’t be going to this location again.

Cashier could use some training. I could tell he was tired and could not care less if the store was empty. My order was shorted chicken. I will look for another Pollo Loco. No problem.

The times I’ve come here there’s disorganization. Anticipate waiting a long time and getting your order wrong. Two times I’ve been here they’ve accidentally given an order to the wrong customer. They’re not up with their online orders. If you’re in a rush, don’t expect your meal to be ready. Last time.

This place used to be good. I always order the classic chicken tostada and it use to have a lot of chicken, rice and beans. Not only have the prices increased, they skimp on the toppings and give you a bunch of lettuce. $13 for a bowl of lettuce. Won’t be back.

Ok. I get it. It's '24. And inflation is out of control. But this is a bit ridiculous. I had a bowl of tortilla soup and the avocado chicken bowl with a drink. It came out to about $20. On top of it, the bowl seemed smaller. 5 years ago, the same food would have cost me about $14.

Burritos used to be a good decent size idk if it’s due to inflation & capitalism but they been slacking. Not only are the burritos smaller but portion size of meat is bad, I got more lettuce than meat! Might as well hit up the taco stands instead of buying at Pollo Loco..

Poor service manners by Dezz. She didn't pack our food correctly and forgot the tortillas. When my boyfriend went back to get the tortillas she said rudely "are you sure" we just seated by the salsa bar for her to come and see. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience we were accused.

The order was replaced, and when finally delivered, was missing most of the food items; was not able to get in contact with the store what-so-ever, since the phones just keep ringing. I bought the double chicken avocado salad, 12/16/2022 around 9:00 pm first of all the cashier took my order wrong, he confused it with a double chicken tostada with double chicken avocado salad, when he gave me the order, I checked my order and they didn't put chicken on it, they didn’t put the corn on it, I paid for extra avocado and when checking my order they did not put extra avocado, I told the cashier and the cashier put the avocado and hi didn’t wear gloves, when I got home the lettuce they put in my salad was rotten (COOKS do your job well, check what is rotten and throw it away, that way they will get sick people)this is for the OWNERS to hiring competent people who do their job well, what an unpleasant experience

Would not recommending order catering from this restaurant. They do not plan according with large orders. I called 3 days in advanced to order 75 loco lunch boxes , ensured by the manager they could do it And would be ready at requested time , let her know it was for teachers appreciation luncheon and need to have it ready on time , again she said yes. Pickup time was for 10:45 got there at 10:50am and they hadn’t started the order because they booked another large order at the same time. The food was already paid for in advanced and I kept getting told 10 more minutes: I didn’t get the food until 12:15pm!!! By the time I got the order the teacher’s lunch was over! Not to Mention half the order was wrong , and none of the lunches has the churros that come with the meal. Paid for food we didn’t get , food that was wrong and was so late it couldn’t be enjoyed at designated lunchtime. Called the manager later to discuss what could be done to rectify , was told they couldn’t credit back any amount , she could probably give me the churros and all the side salads they messed up on (what we paid for) on Monday , but she wouldn’t be working that day and would leave a note for the other manager. I asked her to please discuss with the other manager what can be done (because I wouldn’t want to go back to pick up these items and end up waiting over an hour again )and to call Me back and what was decided. Never received a call back.

They give you bird sized portions. Most of the employees are sad and depressed hence bad customer service. Ill skip this location every way possible. I was a happy customer for the past 20+ years but after covid pandemic this location became cheap and uninviting.

I am a regular! on January 11th, I did an online order I was outside waiting for my ordered and when I got notified it was complete on the app I walk towards the door and it said”sorry we are closed”. I had a birthday reward and wanted to redeemed it today as it was the last day before expiring. When it was my turn, and I said I was going to redeem a birthday reward, I was asked to step on the side and have the paying customers go first. Yasmine was the rude person that sis this to me. If they are not going to treat people equally, then, why do rewards?

1. Ice tea was basically just tap water with a brown hue. 2. No lemonade. 3. Mislabeled soda (got Diet Coke wound up being Mr Pibb or something else.) 4. And a very long black hair was in the salad. Other than that it was great! Got it to go and didn’t discover this after it was all too late.

HORRIBLE. I absolutely hated this. They always mistake every single time, the chicken is always overcooked and dry: it's absolutely a catastrophe. Only for the convenience of this location being close to work I am dining in today but prefer takeout from this location. Food is always fresh and ready but the staff is not friendly at all. Lots of attitude and customer service is not on the menu. The atmosphere is disappointing today with dirty floors sticky table tops ,food still on many of the tables. I would highly recommend this location for takeout only. Today I ordered chicken nachos which for the price were delicious and economical.
