Man these sandwiches are awesome. Steak full of flavor, not bland and dry like a lot of other spots. I ate two this week and thinking about a third

This place was great! Not for dating but a good place to stop in and pick food. I went with my girlfriend before a movie night at home and it was her first cheese steak. She loved hers and I tore up the bell pepper mushroom cheese steak. All in all it was a great place for a decent price and good service.

When I asked the man behind the counter which sandwich was best...he said all of them. I had an Italian hoagie. He wasn't wrong. It was the best. Then, I had a cheese steak with peppers and mushrooms. And you know what? It also was the best. I had the pastrami next and woooeee...it was the best too! And to top it all of they have pickled peppers all packaged up for you to go and these were little bite sized pieces of spicy goodness Portions are huge. Service is friendly. And...they have a parking lot!

This joint rocks. Great Molten hot cheesy sandwich. Great flavor. Very nice behind the counter. Order eat then pay. Reminds me of great western steak and Hogie in Venice. Just plain good.

Great place! Food is amazing I get the steak torta but I’ve tried everything and it’s some good traditional food. Family owned business and every here is so nice with great customer service

Small Mom and Pop establishment. I get the Asada burrito and it’s absolutely, no word to describe. Almost like a fajita burrito with the right amount of spice and juices that drip drip drip. Slightly messy I admit but SO worth it. Watch out it’s not for the small eater.

We went in expecting a regular Philly sandwich like we're used to eating. But, we were amazed. This Philly sandwich is just like a real one from Philadelphia. Perfect meat with perfect grilling and wonderful tasting cheese and other flavors. Raphael the owner was so warming and kind. He welcomed us with open arms. He was so friendly and you can tell that he really cares about how he prepares the food. He cares about pleasing his customers.

Excellent food and wonderful service... nothing beats the quality and love that you get from a Mom and Pop establishment...if you want good food with good prices and sizable portions then this is the place to go.

My husband & I moved into this area about 16 months ago, during which we've often enjoyed Philly cheese steak [PCS] subs & their onion rings are always crisp & delish! Additions to the basic PCS sub create a variety of that sandwich; but they are a small group of choices on the menu. There are lots of subs/hoagies listed. Also, of course, theee are a number of sides & chips & drinks. The grill is right behind the counter so you see preparation of your order from ingredient taken from fridge, to items cooking, to putting it all together to take out or eat there. We both highly recommend this eatery for good food, cleanliness, very short time between order taken & order done in a friendly, simple, convenient location. You will meet the owner/operator when he takes your order; then you'll understand my using "genuine" when I state that he is a genuinely nice fellow. One more positive with which to finally close: it is extremely important to support our neighborhood small businesses for many reasons that vastly benefit everyone, everything, every chance we have!!!

Best tortas in the valley they are super clean they wash there hands and use gloves i highly recommend this spot to go eat a torta

Always a pleasure here.. The husband and wife of this establishment is so very welcoming. Every time I'm in the NoHo area, I always have to stop here for the pastrami combo with no onions. The fries are large enough to share. My cousin had the cheese steak and I tasted it, and it was amazing, may try that next... Highly recommend this place. Small place with small sitting area inside if u want to sit and eat. Update 10/01/23 This place has gotten better over time and always been perfect, but now it's the best pastrami I've had in SFV.

Best cheesesteak ever! Can take a little while to get your food, but if you don't mind the wait, it is so worth it!!! Just from my experience, I could tell it is a small business with big values. Honest and hard-working people, and made our dining experience wonderful. I wish I had gotten his name but the man behind the counter carries the best values and ethics I've ever seen in the restaurant business. And he definitely made us feel welcome. Since its so small with little staff, your sandwhiches can take around 30-40 minutes on a busy day, so definitely plan ahead if you want to eat here. But like I said, the food was great, fries were fresh, and the jamaica was refreshing and sweet😋

Yes this cheese steak is off the chain. Everything is so good. The cheese, the meat, and the fries are all worth it. I have tried cheese steaks from other restaurants out in LA and this restaurant top all of them. The owner she’s very welcoming as well. Definitely have a new go to for Philly steak lol. Couldn’t resist from taken a bite.

This is about the best pastrami and hoagie sandwich in LA. It is so delicious and the meats and ingredients used are high quality. I have been coming here for almost 7 years now and seriously has never disappointed. The tortas are also awesome, but the thing to get here is the pastrami, seriously, I am not a fan of pastrami, or mustard or even pickles, but the way they make this sandwiches with this ingredients and how they make it taste super yummy! Wonderful consistent food! Family owned business! Seriously, super awesome!

Stopped by for a quick bite. I ordered the #27 pastrami sandwich and man I was impressed! BEST PASTRAMI SANDWICH I've ever had the meat had a rich flavor and the serving size was perfect. Not too much where it spills out of the bread uncontrollably but just perfect the grilled onions gave it a special signature punch I love this place I would eat here regularly if I lived in the area but I dont mind the 1+ hr drive to taste this again. Also the customer service was amazing and the employees were very helpful with their recommendations. Honestly a 10/10 in flavor. I'll Be Back!

Simple but great flavor and a nice selection of Mexican soft drinks, however the price is a little too high. I paid just over $20 for a large cheesesteak with extra meat and cheese, fries and two bottles or Pepsi. That's the only reason I docked it a star. I still love it though and always go back.

The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I had bought a coupon for $10 off when spending $20. I wanted to get 2 combo's, but he said he would have to charge me a la carte price because of the coupon. What kind of sense does that make? The food was good, but not worth $27.88 for 2 Philly Cheese Steaks and 2 fountain soda pops. I paid $4 for a $10 coupon, so the savings was really only $6 and with the coupon it was $17.88. The 2 combos would have been $29.83 without the coupon & $19.83 with the coupon, so it's like getting a free order of french fries. I will not eat here again and pay that kind of money for this.

Food is good but the young man who answers the phone doesn’t seem like he likes to work there. It says they close at 8 I called 45 mins before closing and he asked me what I would like to order then when I told him my order he told me “you got 10 mins” because he’s leaving & clocking out although it says they will be open 30 mins after that. I was literally in my car and just pulled off so my food can be ready by the time I come. Very rude and disappointing especially cause I’m craving that due to pregnancy. I suggest going when the owner is there. He kinda discouraged me from coming back even though the sandwiches are very good.

Never been there before and asked the guy 2 questions before he blew up on me that it was all on the menu and just plain rude. I let my son order and sat down. Place is tiny and pretty dirty. No gloves as he was getting the bread out, putting meat on the grill/buns, and handling the register. Meat thrown on the grill looked frozen. They tasted fine enough, similar to the places in the mall. Area is pretty sketchy. Watched as the guy was rude to anybody that had questions about the menu so I guess just lack of customer service.

If you want an onion sandwich, this is the place to go. Ordered a cheese steak with mushrooms. Had to toss half the sandwich yuck!

I used be a regular this place years ago when I lived in the area. I changed locations and hadn't visited in years. There was an older gentleman working the grill back then and my sandwiches were always so delicious. That's the reason I became a regular. Recently I was in the area and couldn't wait to stop by for a great steak hoagie. I'm not sure why the man wasn't at the grill but the older woman both took my order and grilled my sandwich. It was awful!! Nothing at all like before. I sat in the back and waited for my sandwich and didn't open it until I got to the car. To my surprise the steak was overcooked and looked more like chopped beef, there was a minimal amount of meat on the bun, and the taste was horrible. They lost what used to be a regular customer that day, and someone who would've gone back to frequent the place. I won't be returning.

Ordered 2 Phillys and an Italian hoagie. Mediocre Philly sandwiches.. there are plenty of better spots. The Italian had a foul taste after spitting out what I was chewing - I dug through it and found the culprit. I pulled out some very old salami. See pic below. These are the better looking of the slices.
