Great traditional Chinese restaurant! An asset to the area that we are grateful for. The food is very fresh, never greasy, and stays loyal to the flavors you’d expect from your traditional Chinese food fare. Everything I’ve tried was excellent and I’ve never had any issues. The venue itself isn’t much. Pretty spartan. But likely most business is take out. Rarely give 5-star reviews but Jay Heun deserves it! . Original Review UPDATED: After continuing to order from Jay Heun for a few years, I have to update my rating to 5-star. The food is just so good. So fresh & clean. They are quick. If you are in their area, your are lucky.

This place has become awesome. Great well cooked food . As yummy really went downhill and panda cant seem to cook there food properly the struggle to find great chinese food is over. Every food we have got from here is incredible. The place is also clean...there goes my diet lol...check this place out people...

The !!!!!BEST!!!!! Chinese food I have ever had. I have been going to them for years and before the pandemic the wait was sometimes 45 minutes. Love everything they make. Fresh and delicious. So glad they were able to reopen.

Absolutely incredible chinese take-out meal. Maybe the best chicken & broccoli i’ve ever had. Veggie dumplings were a strong hit, along with the boneless spare ribs. Definitely will be ordering from her regularly!

Best Chinese takeout in the Northport area. It’s not a sit down place. Fast and easy orders. Excellent traditional Chow Mein. All orders picked have been flavorful and delicious. Large portions (actually too large). Extremely conscientiousness customer service that goes far beyond the current norm. I also enjoy their French Fries as I’m a lover of the same. Been a customer for well over 25 years although a hiatus here and there due to work and timing. Blows away most of the other locals as far as food quality and service. - could easily go on with positives -

Good Chinese food. I have yet to encounter a dish from here which I am displeased with. Their sauces in the food are flavorful, and are not over-salted. They also offer good chicken and pork dishes, yet I can not speak to their seafood. I usually get their lunch since it is a good bang for your buck, but even dinner is not terribly expensive from here.

Tried this place due to old place going downhill. The food was so good. Flavor of food so much better and less greasy. Found my new restaurant.

They also offer good chicken and pork dishes, yet I can not speak to their seafood. Ordered delivery two times and it was a circus both times. The first time, they quoted 30 minutes and it took over an hour. The second time, same deal but worse. I called after an hour and they insisted that it was delivered. I said that nobody knocked or rang my doorbell and they told me that the driver dropped off the food. I said I didn't receive it and they hung up on me. I later found it at the end of my driveway, sitting on the ground next to my mailbox.

2nd time I ordered from them and recieved the wrong order. Btw there lemon chicken is not lemon chicken it's fried boneless mystery meat with a cup of lemon sauce??? My mom's sesame chicken is this light yellow color and kept spitting the cat meat out bc they were full of chewy fat! They completely changed the menu!!! This place was much better when Steve and Kelly owned it. On top of all that they made me pay 6$ extra to bring back the right meal and still took back the old one . Will never order here again.
